Came here for Sunday brunch mainly for crab legs. They were extremely over salted & many of them weren’t cleaned properly: still had some green fuzzy coating on them and smelled weird. Caesar salad was painfully overdressed. Was not worth $ 30 at all. Won’t be back! When asked what drinks are included in the brunch deal we were told coffee tea & soft drinks, we were never told or aware that champagne & mimosas were a part of it too.

My bestie and I attended for the Sunday Brunch. Nice spread, crab legs, prime rib, shrimp and more. The food was average. Nothing to rave about. I can’t say I would return for just the food… but the service was AMAZING! Unfortunately I forgot our waitress’ name but she was AWESOME!!! My bestie and I were catching up after me returning from Texas. She kept our glasses full and attended to our every need. FABULOUS dining experience.

We have been here on several occasions but have not visited since we had a bad experience with the food, way back when, cold buffet food. We see that they have changed their name and perhaps the menu so we may just give it another try. Back in the day, their servers were noted for their service and the laughter that they brought to the table. A fun group but as we know servers change so what should we expect when we give it another try in the future? The food was always good when ordered off the menu, in particular the steak. We have attended several parties in the party room, that is a story in itself. We arrived for the function that we were invited to, it seems that the room was not ready and we had to wait in the bar that was filled with so many people drinking and it was very loud. Considering we had children in our party, it was no place to put us until the room was ready. It was impossible to order a drink at the bar as it was packed three deep for the buffet line, what a very uncomfortable feeling. I will say that they had a very, very good bloody Mary. We finally got seated about one half hour after our arrival. We have attended many dinners with family and we give it a thumbs up or down, other family members were not impressed so we have not been back since the changes. Look for an update on this review in the future. I will give this place credit, they must be doing some thing right because most of the high end restaurants in Orland seem to disappear after a year or so, remember the Canoe Club? 94 West keeps hanging on.

If I could describe my experience in one word, it would be «disappointed.» Valet was no where to be found, but the parking lot isn’t huge or far away, so that was fine. On to the food… I ordered the chicken vesuvio, my husband the rib eye with broccoli. My chicken was overcooked and dry, and the potatoes had WAY too much rosemary. Seriously. My husband didn’t receive his broccoli on the first try, instead they brought him out asparagus. It was a mistake, which is fine, until the waitress decided to argue that he had in fact ordered asparagus. She even turned to me and asked me to agree. No. My husband never eats asparagus. Not happening. Needless to say he didn’t enjoy his bland steak. It had no seasoning whatsoever. The only thing I enjoyed was the sangria. That was delicious. Overall a very nice, renovated venue, but they need to step it up with their food before they charge those outrageous downtown prices. Next time I’ll just drive downtown.

This place is AMAZING, the venue, the food, the customer service is SUPERB. This is by yet the BEST restaurant I have been too. If you looking for a restaurant with great customer service, great food, & a wonderful venue 94 West in Orland Park is the place to go.

Well now, my husband and I went there for Thanksgiving brunch. My husband made a reservation about a week in advance. Well it started out good but I noticed all my food was cold. They had the heated sternos or whatever but my sausage, bacon, and other things were cold. We tried the prime rib, it was dry and cold. The crab legs where ok and so was the Mosstocholli but the buffet was very limited. My biggest complaint came when we got the bill. The restaurant added an 18 percent gratuity! what! for two people? My husband was not told over the phone about the charge, I was about to tip $ 15.00 until I saw that charge. The server said we should have been told. The total should have been about $ 67.00 but my husband paid close to $ 82.00. Will not go back. Cold food, good service but very deceptive. How can they automatically add 18% gratuity? what if your service was bad? Oh well tough luck and for only two people? We had way less than $ 82.00 worth of cold food, and this was a special occasion! Thankgiving! Very disappointed.

Been here several times over the summer for the cruise nights which were just started here. This is still a 3 ½ star place for sure. They do a good job. I had the hamburger a few times and it is well made. This place is a safe bet if you want a good meal but it can be pricey for some things.

My friends and I were there this past Friday. We dined outside and the atmosphere was perfect! If you love Buffalo Shrimp you have to try theirs! In addition we enjoyed how one of the managers came and serenaded my friend for her birthday. The price was reasonable for a steak and seafood restaurant. I will visit again!

Fantastic food and the service was terrific, the waitress helped me customize my order to accommodate my food allergies. The bathrooms were also clean! I can’t wait to go back!

A lot of the reviews are frustrating to read because of how snobby the reviewer comes off as. Perhaps these are normal people with normal heads. Perhaps these are normal people without conflated egos or feelings of self-importance. The fact of the matter is, that this is a fun place to come to eat good food. My waitress had great manners. Took our plates away as we finished our meals, and gave outstanding service to us. I honestly expected less! It’s nice to spend $ 27 on a New York strip steak and receive good service, and a vibrant atmosphere. I never once felt unwelcome, and again, I cannot possibly understate what a fine restaurant this is. I will definitely be coming back! Note: I was with a party of 4, myself included, and one of us ordered a Sangria and a glass of Jameson whiskey. They were both surprised by the amount given! Totally had no skimping on the booze. That made me really happy. And the way my friends & I woofed down our meals, we cannot say anything negative about the food either. It was well worth the money in every regard. A little bit pricey to eat at regularly, but when we eat out again, this will be our destination. Thanks a lot to the staff at 94 West. Great job.

I’ve been going to 94 West to watch the Blackhawk games with my wife. The remodel is gorgeous. Beautiful chairs and great view of the TV’s. I’ve been to almost every Chicago steak house and I have to say, the filet at 94 West is incredible. The most flavorful, tender steak I’ve ever had. I like my steak pink in the middle. They put a crusty sear on the outside, and then it gets gradually pinker towards the center. Other steak places dry out their steak, but not here. My wife likes it a little more medium, and hers was like butter as well. Why go to Chicago. Free parking. Great appetizers. The calamari with feta, peppers and olives was awesome. Normal priced drinks. Maybe because it’s not on LaGrange, but East, on 94th ave, that this restaurant doesn’t get more people there. I’ve had my daughters wedding showers here. Many Mother’s Day and Easter brunches. Always good.

DISGUSTING!!! Hands down the WORST brunch we’ve ever had. I don’t even know where to begin. –Website says waffle and omlete station. NOPE, not there. Instead I was told by the waitress that it was not for Mother’s Day Brunch. –Food was frozen and reheated. –Gravy for bisquits wasn’t gravy, it was actually a cream-type pasta sauce. GROSS! –The«desserts» consisted of mini cupcakes that were freezer burnt. I thought it was just me but I overheard a lot of people complaining in line and at their tables.

I attended the Mother’s Day brunch on yesterday and it has definitely gone down. The food was complete TRASH! The bacon wasn’t fully cooked, crab legs were cold, the desert’s were store bought at it’s cheesiest and the service was poor. The water was the best thing served. They have definitely gone up in prices and down with the quality of food and staff. I hate that the application calls for you to select a star before posting your review because it doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

Recently ate there for a friend’s wedding shower during their Sunday brunch. The buffet food great, hot and tasty. They make fresh omelets on demand and waffles. The only issue is they only have 1 waffle maker and the line was backed up. We waited for 20 minutes for our waffle. Other than that the wait staff was great and friendly and we had an overall great experience.

Service was subpar, I do believe it was for my party due to an assumption that black Americans don’t tip. The server received a tip from me that she was undeserving of The Fettuccine was over cooked and then drowned with sauce I’m an attempt to mask it. The bread was cold and hard and served with frozen pats of butter. I’ll never go back and would warn anyone else no to either

The food was good. Not great but good. The service was bad. Our waitress came over and we asked about a drink we saw at another table. We asked if she liked it and she just said, «I don’t drink.» We did order drinks and after getting out salads, we finished our first round. We waited over 10 minutes for our waitress to even look at us(we were in the middle of her section, yet she went around our table without even looking at us, let alone ask if we needed anything. When we were able to get her attention, she asked if we needed another drink. We said yes, and she took off. Didn’t ask anything about what drink we might want. We did want to change drinks. About another 10 minutes later(now drinkless for 20 minutes) she appeared with the same drink we had the first time. We would have told her our different drinks if she would have listened to us trying to get her attention. The second round was comped. I waited a very long time for water to be refilled, but the second I finished any course of food, a busboy squeezed himself between my wife and me to take the plate. When my salad fork was still in my mouth this kid took my plate. Like I said, the food was good. They make a really good steak and the bernaise(sp?) sause was excellent. In the end, I would say drive down LaGrange a few miles and go to Mr. Benny’s. Excellent all the way around at Mr. Benny’s. Ask for Erin there.

Been eating here for years and I must say the food seems to have only gotten better. I love a good steak and have eaten at some of the best steak restaurants. The experience here is downtown steak restaurant experience without the hustle and the bustle. The ambience is comfortable and romantic. They have recently remodeled what is now the tavern side. While I opted for the main dining area, I couldn’t help but notice the vibrancy of the tavern. The steaks are perfect. They are seasoned and cooked to perfection. Each bite is like heaven on a fork. The Caesar salad is consistently delicious but just a tad bit heavy on the dressing. The service is always professional and courteous. Great date night!

I gotta downgrade 94 West a star. There have been some changes here — mostly for the better, really. They’re now«94 West Grille and Tavern» or something like that. They serve breakfast/brunch on weekends and the dinner menu has been updated with some new appetizers, sides and sandwiches/wraps. The steak options remain as well. The décor has been updated in the bar and it looks pretty nice. But I’ve noticed a continual downslide in service. In the dozen or so times I’ve been here now, we’ve had maybe two really great servers, and the rest were middling to mediocre. Our most recent visit was for brunch on a Sunday, and despite the place being pretty quiet, the service was not great. For instance, Grampa ordered a plain burger, with just mustard and ketchup; he got a cheeseburger. I ordered a croque madame, and some kind of scramble with salmon was put down in front of me. I don’t think the waitress knew what a croque madame was. And — one of my pet peeves — the waitress dropped the check off and then disappeared for a good 15 – 20 minutes. I don’t think this is an individual bad day or bad waitperson problem. It’s happened too much. I really think the servers need more and better training here. For what’s allegedly a fine dining restaurant, they really could and should do a lot better.
