I wanted to try a new place to eat and I saw this place going home. I got the three taco combo. The tacos were really good. The meat was just perfect. The horchata was good as well. The only bad thing was the rices was a little hard. But overall it was bomb. I’m definitely going back

I must say this place isn’t great or even worth going back to although I have given it a few tries. The workers never seem to be on the same page as far as prices it’s really weird! The food blah if you go in for lunch you’re probably okay but for dinner forget it it’s like the meat has been reheated 100+ times. The tamales are terrible so for that to be one of their specialties that’s just sad. The ones I ordered where so bad like shriveled up from sitting so long barely anything in them awful! Since they are close to my house the only thing I will say thats good about it is their breakfast burritos small but taste pretty good. That’s the only reason I gave them two stars oh yeah and the bottled coke!

We have been there twice now, and both times the food has been delicious! The owner has been very nice and accommodating! The prices are a little high I think! But it won’t stop me from coming in once In a while!

I could WAIT for this place to open. I love to patronize local small businesses. My first visit was a few days after they opened. The price was right, the food was good and the staff(except the owner) was friendly. But each visit after went down hill. The food got worse, the prices went up by 50% and they do not have ½ the stuff on menu ready. The owner owner often walk through like she could not be bothered. I will try back in a few weeks hoping these are just growing pains but for now I will drive the extra 1//2 mile down the street for way better taco tuesdays.

I have been dying for some cheese and chili tamales and I checked in everyday around 1pm and they were sold out. I can’t figure out how the place specializes in tamales yet they are sold out at 1. I was excited to see they had the cheese ones today… but when I got home, I noticed they were wrong. No cheese no chili no chicken no sauce… basically just masa. I am not impressed. I will not be back. Charging $ 1.50 for a plain tamale and trying to pass it off as anything is just wrong. Please change the name to just tacos

Well I always have to go try a new taco joint when I see one that is about to open. This place just opened this week and I am glad I was able to stop in and enjoy some grub. This is a small time operation with a great location that can make a killing if they do it right. The first impression was both good and bad. It was extremely clean. Which is a great thing for a new place. Everything was new bright and shiny. The gal taking orders was happy and had a smile on her face, but I don’t think she was ready for the influx of folks waiting in line. There must have been about 10 of us total when I was in line. Their was one cook and one guy doing prep in the back. They had a lot of tins holding meats beans rice etc. I got a couple of tacos and want to try one of their tamales. The tacos were $ 1 and the tamales are $ 1.50. They were both tasty and flavorful… however the tamale was short on the filling nad dare I say it, masa. It had a good flavor to it, but was a bit oily. I got the chicken and green pepper tamale and loved the taste. For my tacos I got an al pastor and a pollo and both were pretty good. The al pastor was done right as I could taste the sweetness of a bit of pineapple in it as well. Both had the meat diced small and were in about a 4″ corn tortilla. Standard street tacos. However the difference maker here was the red sauce. I asked to try the red and green sauce and the green was whatevers. But something in the red sauce spoke to my tastebuds. It wasnt spicy, but there was a bit of a smokey taste, i dont know what in it just that it translated into YUMMY. So if you want something new to try, come past here and give this joint a try. Its priced right and the taste is ok. The service is a bit slow, but its their first week open, so I pretty much expect that. But its definitely worth a try…
