Love coming here to get my Italian food fix. But you better make reservations if you want a table. Only suggestion is some of the waiters ought to drop the fake Italian accent.

Went for a special event — knock out Italian food in Orange Park Acres. Moderately spendy but well expected and very fresh.

First time visit to Da Bianca for an anniversary dinner. Love… love…love this place. From the moment we walked in, we were very impressed with the warm, friendly atmosphere. The menu had plenty to choose from. We started with the Siciliana salad(Tomato, cucumber, red onions w/Bianca’s secret dressing, adding Romaine lettuce and olives). It was a very light, fresh salad to start with. For our entrees, I had the Farfalle Veneziana(Bowtie pasta w/sausage, mushroom & peas, creamy marinara sauce) and my wife had the Farfalle Genovese(Bow tie pasta w/chicken breast & sun dried tomato, creamy pesto sauce). Both were delicious, but I think I liked my wife’s better. We finished our meal with the Canolli. Overall it was a truly amazing night. From the staff to the surrounding, very loyal, very regular customers, we had a very special night. Thank you Marjan(owner), It was an absolute pleasure celebrating our 24th anniversary here.

Went there with my wife and parents for dinner a few days ago based on all the positive word of mouth reviews I’ve heard on this particular establishment, and was really exited to go check the place out. The experience was very disappointing, and I even waited several days after our visit to write this review just so I could be fair and not writing an angry review out of the hunger that follows a bad meal. Everything began just fine, ordered carpaccio for an appetizer which was pretty good, then everyone ordered our entrees. We waited 1 ½ hours for our food, and even had people from other tables tapping is on the shoulder to ask how long we had been waiting as they had not not been served either. As I looked around the restaurant the place was maybe 2⁄3 full and almost every table had people staring at empty tables, which was strange. We finally asked the waiter how much longer we would have to wait and he responded with some ridiculous explanation of how their kitchen was so small it only accommodated three cooks, but right now there was only two and kept apologizing. Finally they brought everyone’s food except for mine and the waiter informed me that they had run out of the pasta needed to make my dish and would I mind if they substituted penne or spaghetti noodles instead(how does an Italian restaurant run out of pasta?). By this time everyone was so hungry that I agreed and 10 minutes later he arrived back at the table with a plate of penne pasta with red tomato sauce on it. The pasta was not fresh and hand made like the menu promised, but was obviously from a box as it was completely undercooked to the point it was crunchy in places. The sauce did not have crispy procuitto in it like the menu said it would, it was like they just boiled pasta from a box and dumped Ragu from a jar on it. The owner was coming around from table to table and saw that I was obviously not happy with my meal and offered something else, but the rest of the table was nearly done eating at that point, and I really did not want to start all over picking something new off of the menu. The dining are is very small and cramped and I kept having the waiters bumping into me as they passed by. I also then inquired as to the location of the men’s room and was informed that I needed to get a key and walk around the outside of the building to find it which I thought was pretty tacky. They assured me my dinner would be complementary since it was unsatisfactory, but I saw when I went over the itemized check later at home they had charged me for it anyways. Everyone in our party found the whole dinner very disappointing and will not be returning again.

So glad that DaBianca’s was number one in Orange County for Italian cuisine according to Open Table! It is certainly our favorite!

We have eaten here for dinner about 10 times and it is always consistent, delicious and authentic. We are vegetarians, so our review is limited to the veggie items. There are always specials, which usually have at least one vegetarian item, although not always. They always accommodate our veggie requests(replace chicken with broccoli, etc.) politely. The restaurant is small and family run. Sometimes the cute, well-dressed kids clear plates, which makes the place feel even more authentically Italian to me. It seems like the entire staff is Italian. They are very knowledgeable. The wine list is extensive and very nice. The atmosphere is dressy and elegant. Service can be a little slow sometimes, but is often speedy. The location is sort of tucked away and the parking is just in the parking lot in front. No valet, but you don’t need one. The clientele would be consistently on the older side, so I wouldn’t list it on any hip or trendy lists. We definitely bring our parents here(60s & early 70s) and it is a great fit for them age-wise. Trendy or not, the food is so delicious that we come here with our friends also.

A tad bit of a long wait but amazing tasting food, fresh and great staff. I’ve only been to this restaurant and order to go only. The first time I order Spaghetti Bolognaise it was pretty much within 15 mins I waited at home, and done. The 2nd time(same order), took longer. I actually took a bath first at my home before going there to pick it up, and it wasn’t done yet. The staff was super apologetic which was great, but on my end, I understand when a place is slammed, or staff all of a sudden is sick couldn’t make it to work, or simply just growing pains, they’re not a big deal for me. If it is more than 45 mins waiting, sitting down on the table then maybe I won’t be as happy, but the food is simply sublime and worth the wait. It is perfectly seasoned, not too salty or anything, just perfect. The spaghetti bolognaise has fresh meat and have perfect amount of mushroom. Sometimes I go to other restaurants order the same exact dish and left me wanting for more mushroom. As far as ambiance, I came there twice pretty much with sandals and short pants which makes me feel completely underdressed. Everyone who are sitting on the table are always very tailored and simply perfect. The décor is modern and up to date, clean and on the romantic side. If I don’t have kids, I’d definitely take my wife here and wear my fancy bowtie. Moving on to portion of the food, it is on the larger side. I can never finish off my order and basically I will eat it for the next day. So if I think of it, the«$$» on the top there, is actually«$»(for me) For those who are trying new restaurant in your neighborhood, never forget Da Bianca Trattoria!

We had the pleasure of eating here a handful of times, always happy with the food and service. Last night we really put the restaurant to the test! We had a reservation at 7:30 for a party of 8; we serve seated reasonably close to our reserved time(and the place was packed!!!). I brought three of my own bottles of wine which I had set on the table, which the waiter cheerfully asked if I was ready for them to be opened(yes!!). Our service was fantastic the entire evening as we blew thru the three bottles and ordered another from the restaurant. Four of my guests had never eaten here(two were from Australia) and were very happy with what they selected. The appetizers were great as well as the variety of desserts we all consumed. Can’t wait to go back! Bill

Amazing! I’m from Sicily and don’t always like eating at Italian restaurants due to lack of authenticity. This restaurant not only has delicious food and fresh tasting ingredients but exceptional customer service as well! Beautiful décor, great wine, fantastic owners serving you in the restaurant… What’s not to love?

Went here with my parents last week, we go all the time and the service is always been so so but this last time we literally waited forever to get our food we got seated and from the time when we ordered to the time we got our food was an hour and a half me and my mom clocked it. The food was good so we kinda chilled out about it but we were so angry at the time esspecially when we saw other people getting served before us who arrived after us. an hour and a half is kinda ridiculous if you ask me like are the understaffed? what is the dealio? All that being said THEFOODISSUPERDELICIOUS the bread that comes out is amazing So if your down to kinda struggle for a bit to get some amazing food this is your place

One of the best around. Relaxed and laid back, prepare to enjoy the most pleasant dining experience in Orange. Make sure to order a nice glass of wine as they have a Very nice selection. If you’re in a hurry, then maybe you should consider a visit when you have more time. The food is very fresh and tastes like it too. Perfect place for a first date too. There are better places, but I really love the food and service.

We’ve been coming to Da Biancas for many years, it is one of the best Italian restaurants in Orange County. It is a family run restaurant with authentic and delicious Italian classics and specials. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. We always look forward to coming back!

First night after moving into our new house, my fiancé’s family and I came here for dinner to celebrate. I thought the restaurant was quaint and tucked away in the corner of the Orange Park Center(?). If you don’t drive past the market you’d miss it! It definitely reminded me of a relaxed and«home-style» kind of restaurant, which is sweet considering we just moved to a new city. We had the pleasure of enjoying their fresh GARLIC bread. Wooh! It is strong, but so so delicious! Though everyone ordered their own entrée, THISISONLY A REVIEWOFTHERAVIOLI. They were kind enough to make a «pink» sauce for me and to add sausage, which I thought was delicious. I applaud them for seasoning the ravioli — seriously, the filling was great! The only comment I would have is I wish there was more filling and that the edges were thinner. But I think this is how you know that the raviolis are homemade! The flavors were amazing though, and if I had to I would order them again. I’m a sucker for Osso Bucco(made with veal, like it should be) so I’ll come back when they’re serving this to give Da Bianca another go.

We went again last night after the sad passing of Bianca last fall. Her daughter has given the restaurant a face lift without losing the wonderful quaintness! It looks amazing and better yet, the food is what it is all about! Still the amazingly wonderful, flavorful, hot food we have come to expect. Wednesday is no corkage fee, and daily lunch is adding great value to this gem at the corner of Chapman and Newport! The staff gives each patron first rate service and you get to enjoy great food and drink! I highly recommend it! I had the eggplant, AWESOME!

One of the finest Italian restaurants in Orange County. We’ve been loyal customers for well over 20 years. Excellent pastas, innovative specials and a new make-over makes this a wonderful fine dining experience near Orange Park Acres. Some of my favorites include Linguine Alla Vongole and Osso Buco — among many others. Try the new canolis! Wine lovers have a great variety of choices. Not to be missed!

Exquisite food and service. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu. More than once. Consistently delicious and authentic. Rigatoni alla Gorgonzola is paradise on a plate — add Italian sausage. I also love the carpaccio and the mozzarella appetizer. The meltiest, most sophisticated fried mozzarella appetizer. The Ossobuco with the mashed potatoes — life-changing, and only offered at select times throughout the year. If they are offering a lamb special — get it. Beefy, brothy bolognese. Excellent wines — the Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc are always crisp, and just the right amount of dry. The entrees that come with a side of pasta and the vegetables — the pasta and veggies are a bit of an afterthought-the only thing here that leaves something to be desired.
