The Iron Burgers & Beyond

The meat on my Hot Iron and carmel shake were nothing special, but I love the aesthetic and the feta fries are BOMB

Just had the pastrami burger combo and french toast breakfast. Delicious! love that they put candied pecans on the french toast. Their brioche buns were also very soft and fluffy. Definitely will be back to try more of the burgers!

Returned to try their fries again. This time I got the gravy fries, which were big and tasty. The gravy had apple sausage and bacon bits and lots of cheese. The potatoes are still funny shaped but good. Servers were nice and the place was very clean.

Great hidden burger place. The onion rings were giant! Sweet and the breading stayed on. They also serve with the good ranch lol the French fried are great, not shoestring or wedge. Kinda like fat chips. Now on to the burgers. My husband got the iron beast which he loved and I got the Iron bbq minus the fried egg. For a family of 5 we spent 40bucks! Not too vad. I think they are better than restaurant burgers. And we will definetly be back!

First time here and was not disappointed. The food was quality and had a good amount of food. The fries that came with the combo were great. Highly recommend.

First time here and great experience and food! Definitely coming back! My daughters had the kids meal breakfast and the chicken tenders meal. I had the Monte cristo and hubby had the pastrami burger… all oh so good!

Came here 9:20pm hours are till 10pm. When I went to go inside employee came to door and locked it through the glass he said I could order through the drive thru. Not happy but hungry placed my order for pastrami sandwich with combo and asked for zucchini instead of fries. My total was almost $ 14 for this. Zucchini was bland and tasted old. Pastrami was ok.

This place was pretty decent. Customer service was 5 stars. Only leaving a review because I’m obsessed with breakfast burritos and I see no reviews for their’s. Their bacon breakfast burrito was just okay. I love how it wasn’t stuffed with a bunch of potatoes like most places tend to do. It was a perfect balance of egg potato and cheese (Notice I didn’t include bacon in that «balance»). Not enough bacon! I love my bacon and I almost wanted to go home and make some so that I can add it to this poor burrito that needed that little extra push to make it great and worthy of my return for
did come with a free coffee though. That’s why 4 stars and not 3.

Food came fast. My fiancé and I both ordered the iron bbq combo. Both the fries and burgers were ⁵⁄₅. My fiancé got the poutine fries upgrade, the gravy was ²⁄₅ and the rest was ⁵⁄₅.
The only downside was the price! For two combos was about $ 26, which is a dousy with so little food we got.
Fiancé states, «So expensive but worth.»
Anywho back to the revew, there was one thing I forgot to mention. When we got there the cook kept starting at us, I felt like we were pressured to order immediately. Also when I called for service, one of the employees straight up ignored me.

I ordered the Green Iron Burger w/​fries and Coke for 10 $. Place was clean and service was quick and polite. The burger itself is a ⁵⁄₅. Fresh, tasty, unique and almost as good as a 10 – 12 $ burger from other restaurants. The caramelized onions/​peppers, good amount of avocado, juicy patty, soft bun could not be beat. The menu host another 10 – 15 unique burgers I’m eager to try.
The onion rings, zucchini and fries were really subpar. Neither of the 3 tasted anywhere near as good as the burger. Extra ketchup and ranch could not save them. That’s why I give this place 3 stars.

Been here 20 minutes for shakes and counting …
It would be okay if they were packed or if they acknowledged the wait time but nothing. Just got them at 30 minutes and they sat them in the counter. No apology while we listened to her talk about someone who «could kiss her a*s.» Horrible attitudes and horrible service

This was our first time here and I’m glad this place is close by. I had the Hot iron and added lettuce. I could tell the burger was fresh off the grill and the applewood smoked bacon was delicious. It isn’t your typical fast-​food bacon. I liked the guacamole, it had a little tang in it. The fries are also not your typical fries. They’re thick, and wavy with a golden crisp to it. I tried my husband’s chili fries and you can tell they use real beef, not that tasteless, mush some of the others use.
My husband also told me that the employees were really nice and the place was clean. He spoke to the manager, Esperanza I think, and she was very helpful and knowledgable about how they make their food. Can’t wait to try some of their other stuff like the feta fries.

I thought I was done w/​the IE, but I go where business takes me. I was looking for a casual place to accommodate my co-​worker who is not that adventuresome. Voila! Iron Burger fit the bill, and is on Archibald & the 60 in Ontario. BTW, I worked in Ontario for 18 months, and vowed never to return ($hitty work environment, weird co-​workers, and horrible commute).
I ordered the blue cheese bacon burger ($ 6.95), and added the combo ($ 3.55 for fries & a drink). I actually wanted a salad, but the burger focused menu captured my attention. I didn’t see the «newly added» salads menu in front of the register.
The burger was pretty big for the price, and you could taste the bacon & blue cheese. Additionally, the meat was moist and seasoned nicely. The only downside was the large amount of sauce: 4 Stars. Likewise, the wide curly fries was a good sized portion and came out hot. The only downside was the price for the combo: 4 Stars.
Regarding the ambiance, its actually pretty nice w/​TVs. The counter was basic as was the seating: 3.5 Stars. On the other hand the service was very good. The cashier was friendly and the food came out quickly: 4 Stars.
I hope I win this client because Iron Burger would be my go to casual place in the area. I’d like to try their salads because the prices are reasonable, and the food & service are above average.

My first review was for burger offerings, however, after looking at the breakfast pics other reviewers posted we decided to try them. So far my favorite breakfast entrée is the french toast breakfast. Served with 2 delicious pieces of french toast 3 eggs 4 slices of thick bacon for only $ 6.95 I love the sweet cream dressing they drizzle on top of the french toast with fresh berries and pecans. Cant believe the low price and gourmet flavor. Ive been eating this dish about 3x per month for the last 6 months. Absolutely love the meal and price. (I usually dine at the Avocado House for weekend breakfast but the wait is horrendous and pricing can be a bit high once u sub xtras.)
My wife’s favorite is the Breakfast sandwich with bacon. Sandwich is huge quite filling has eggs stacked with hash browns, thick slices of bacon, tasty aioli sauce and your choice of bread and cheese 6 $ and change includes coffee yo! Wife usually eats half and saves the other half for later. And BTW their coffee is really good. Im the type of person that purchases starbucks before going to any breakfast café. Dont need to do that when i come here.
My wife has tried the breakfast burritos filling and taste great ask for xtra salsa taste bomb has a slight kick. Good breakfast spot for a quick stop while traveling, heading out somewhere, and want a quick good meal.

As I lie here almost motionless in my food coma I will make an attempt to write this review. The first time I tried this place it was a 3 star for the burger and feta fries. I wasn’t overly impressed. However, this evening we did take out again and I opted for an asada burrito with all the extras on menu except for beans. It was fantastic. I thought the salsa that came with it was perfect. I enjoyed the chili fries because it was not heavy on the red sauce/​tomato base that I am used to with chili fries. There was plenty of ground beef. Eat cautiously bc the food from here is loaded with calories to the 10^th power.
The burger I had last time was OK but I prefer 5 other joints in the area before the Iron. The burrito was the deal maker. Give it a try. Close to 24 hour fitness.
Btw, the wait in drive thru takes forever. My clothes went out of style.

Make it a Combo for (a whopping) $ 2.55 more!
Unfortunately, that was the biggest impression left on me after dining here. At first glance, everything on the menu looks reasonably priced: $ 5.95 for this, $ 6.95 for that… now add on a side of fries and a drink (and who doesn’t) and you’re paying almost $ 10.00 for lunch!!!
I ordered a five piece chicken tenders to go and was told they only had four pieces of fried chicken strips left… huh? Then, I was told they could provide me with four fried, one grilled strip. Somehow, even though my order said $ 6.95 plus $ 2.55 for making it a combo, I paid $ 11.50something for the combo (oh, and when I got home, there was no grilled strip in there… they basically ripped me off one strip).
Now, I dined in prior to ordering the «to go» order. For three meals (I bought lunch for my business partner and a person we were interviewing) the total came out to almost $ 40.00!!! That’s like steakhouse money!
Anyway, I ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich for lunch. Their take on this classic sandwich is to put turkey ham and bacon between two pieces of French toast. It wasn’t bad, but it did have GLOBS of mayonnaise (of which, I’m not a fan). If not for my personal opinion on the mayo, this sandwich was really tasty. The fries were decent, but nothing special.
For a place that is more fast food than sit down restaurant (this place is a confusing mix of both: since you place your order, but they bring it out to you, but you have to get your own drinks and clear your own table), I can’t justify the prices for the quality of service or food.

Upon seeing the photos of the Iron Beast, it looked very tantalizing. There were not very many photos of other burgers but I decided to get the Hot Iron since I absolutely love guacamole and bacon on my burgers. Sadly the burger was just alright. It had flavor, it just didn’t have the kick I had gotten from other spicy burgers. The fries, however, were super delicious and wish they didn’t skimp on them. Reminded me of Shakey’s mojos.
The cashier was super nice and friendly and made sure we were taken care of. Kinda sad they didn’t have Dr Pepper here… looked like they were out… so sad.

I came here on a recommendation from a few co workers. They said this is a must-​try!
Plenty of Parking, fast and friendly service and an extensive menu!
I was pointed towards a turkey burger and the feta fries.
Turkey burgers are NOT my thing, but they had a «green burger «(normal meat, topings. Add avocado and a special mayo) that suited my mood– will come back to try other items!!!–
Order at register and they will bring your order to you.
They have PLENTY of sauce options, including several bottles of Buffalo sauce… which I put into the provided sauce cup and used liberally on my feta fries and eventually the burger (after being dipped into the feta sauce).
They have several more menu options that I am open to… (I love chicken tenders more than life itself)
Including some mexican options such as tacos, burritos, chorizo and taquitos.
So excited to come back!

Iron Burger is located next to KFC. It is where Arby’s use to be.
Iron Burger provides big portions of food for a decent cost. The staff is always friendly and the food is always good.
Go with anything with Pastrami, you won’t be sorry.
We had the fries with Chili and Pastrami. It was enough for two people to eat. The Pastrami was awesome. Just the right fat to meat ratio.
It looks like a typical fast food place, but the quality is where they are different. It also never gets too busy. So its perfect for lunch. I def recommend swinging by and grabbing a sandwhich, burger, or any of those fries.

My sister had surgery at the Kaiser down the street. We’ve been up since 5am and by 8am a bitch was HOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGRRRRRRY! I Unilocaled around and stumbled upon this place. It was so close to the hospital and they had good looking food porn so there I go! This is a mom and pop inside of a prior fast food chain eatery, so it gave a feel of being inside a BK but the food is definitely not typical fast food!
I knew I wanted a breakfast burrito but I still stalked the rest of the menu: p The menu looks GOOOOOOOOD! Only issue I have with their breakfast menu is the lack of regular sausage!!! Not everybody wants apple chicken sausage or whatever that new new is LOL. I ordered a bacon breakfast burrito. It was kinda spendy for it’s size. But it’s all good. The service here is nice and attentive. Food was ready at a reasonable time as well.
Got in the car and started grubbing! This burrito was GOOD! Very solid and their salsa was very spicy!!! But I love the spice these days. This wasn’t an eggy burrito which is always nice. The potatoes were hash browns which is my favorite type of potato in a burrito. My mom took a taste and loved it, until I put my tabasco on it lol. That’s why ya get your own. She regretted not ordering one o_​O. Even though I don’t share, I gave her my other half. I’m such a good girl LOL. Overall it was a very good burrito and we will come back. My sister was jealous, so next time we will take her!
