Taste of Heaven Kitchen

The fried catfish was very tasty and seasoned deliciously. I recommend calling your other in aheadf you are in a hurry. Good, tasty & fresh meal.
Raspberry lemonade was the perfect tasty blend of sweet & tart. Fresh cinnamon spiced yams was a serious treat to my taste buds.
Servicer was awesome, friendly and very nice! Finally, I can say, I’ll be back somewhere!

This place was surprisingly pretty good.
I did not know this place even existed. It is in the location that Chef Mike was previous at.
I think this place needs to do more marketing… as people from all over the metro enjoy Soul Food or as some folks call it «Southern Food.»
It did not heave a Unilocal page until I took the task on… which as a business owner, that would have been one of the first things I did when opening a business.

Easily the best Soul Food Restaurant in Omaha.
Now, my four star review is not because I thought this place was THE BEST SOUL FOOD ever… but the best that I’ve tasted in Nebraska and the Kansas City area.
So the four star review is relative to the Nebraska (or Midwest area).
Catfish was fresh and seasoned well (which is very rare in Nebraska… seems like people are scared to put any seasoning on their catfish)
Yams– good. And I do think these are actually made from fresh sweet potatoes (not canned).
Cabbage– Good. Soy sauce was used.
There are a variety of lemonades which are yum. I had the Strawberry Kiwi Apple Lemonade… it was homemade… which I think that the lemonade… may not be homemade but the added flavors are added in there to create this concoction.. and fresh slices of fruit.
Strawberry lemonade– same thing as above.
Server who I also presume is the owner— was very nice! Super nice and patient guy!

Sweet Tea… just ok. A odd or off taste was present.
