Ordered their burger for lunch and steak meal for dinner. It was the bomb! The steak was to die for. It was tender and juicy…

Stopped in for lunch with a friend visiting from out-of-town and had a meal that simply got the job done. Nothing memorable, but nothing awful either. I ordered the DTBLT with a side salad — bacon was crispy and perfectly cooked, avocado was ripe and creamy. Wheat bread was blah. Something to hold the sandwich together. Could have used a touch more mayo. Almost bit into the little nub/stem thingy on the avocado, but saw it just before I did. That’s no good. Was too full from the sandwich to bother with salad, but I took it to-go. Service was friendly and attentive at first. It stayed friendly but got a bit slow when we were wrapping up and needed to pay. But we also had to be somewhere, so it could have been us. $ 11 for the BLT? A bit steep, but it is a hotel restaurant trying to be a bit fancier than it is.

Like most Doubletree Hotels, the food is mediocre. Thankful for food in the hotel, yes. Quality, service… eh. Happy Hour all day Sundays offers $ 5 Starters. Ordered food at the start of game, got it just before halftime. To go. Bartender was nice, friendly. Apologized repeatedly for the wait. SIGNATURENACHOS — Chicken, lettuce, black beans, corn, pico de gallo good but too bad they use that processed cheese sauce. Good but soggy. INSIDEOUTBURGER — ground beef stuffed with bacon & blue cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onions on pretzel bun. Flavor is there, better if it had arrived warm, not cold. With such low expectations, Monkey say they were met.

As much as the Doubletree Hotel here was ok. This place sucked. I ate here for breakfast and decided to go downstairs early at 7 am. The restaurant was filled with travelers in suits. I had a free breakfast buffet ticket so I decided to get an omelet. There were 5 people in line in front of me and only one pan going. What I didn’t realize was that people were sitting at their tables waiting for their omelets. The service was so slow I asked to speak to the manager. By that time there was another 4 people behind me. I asked if there was another burner or another way to get these eggs cooked. It wasn’t fair to the poor woman making the omelets and it wasn’t fair to the guests waiting. She walked to the back while the woman making omelets brought out another burner and put a frying pan on there but it wasn’t heating. It wasn’t heating because she was using a convection burner with a regular pan. The manager came out to feel the pan and I had to tell them that they need a convection pan in order for it to work. Really people really? With the amount of business travelers that go through that place this is the type of operation they are running? With so many high quality people unemployed how does this woman have a job?

This place has decent food as long as you steer clear of the buffets. The Good Life burger was pretty darn good. It was a preformed patty but the pretzel roll and toppings made up for it. The service is great — very friendly staff.

This restaurant is in the Double Tree hotel. Pretty good food for hotel food. Decent meal for what was being served. Staff was friendly and polite. The cost of the meal was high for what it was, but the price is what you expect at a hotel restaurant. Probably won’t go again because there are many other places to try which are a lot better.
