I’ve never had such a poor experience with a contractor. In early January of 2015 an associate from Quality Home Exteriors (QHE) came to my home and we arranged to have several windows and a set of French doors replaced. They promised to have the job completed before March because I had plans to be out of the country for an extended period of time. I didn’t hear from QHE until June when they informed me that their company that makes the Windows had taken longer than expected to make the Windows. Do to scheduling conflicts on both parts we weren’t able to set an install date until October 2^nd. I took the day off from work and called to confirm the installers would be at my house between 9−11am the day before. When I still didn’t hear from them by noon I tried calling but didn’t reach anyone, then tried again at 1pm. Eventually I heard back from the company and found that the installer «forgot to right it down.» Needless to say I was quite upset. The installer was very apologetic and said he would work with me to reschedule. I asked if he could still come that day, he was busy. I asked if he could come the next day but he «had a birthday party to go to.» The company manager said he would call to sort things out after he got back from a conference in Chicago but it’s been over a month and I still haven’t heard from him. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
