Friendly service. Great atmosphere. Not the best BBQ in Memphis area, but certainly one of the best. Jumbo BBQ platter is great. Fried Chicken Tender sandwich is also good. Breakfast food is always good.

If they removed BBQ from their name, they’d be better off. The BBQ isn’t worthy of elementary schools let alone a paying customer at a restaurant. The slaw was awful enough that I couldn’t even take more than 2 bites of it. It’s unfortunate that they have to compete so closely with real, award winning BBQ restaurants in Memphis.
Their sweet tea is awesome however!

Old Style’s Barbecue is just okay. Anywhere else in America it would be better than okay but this is essentially Memphis so park your Grand Champion Q expectations down the street… way down the street.
This said, they serve breakfast and that’s a different story. Ask yourself… what’s wrong with a BBQ Omelette? The answer at Old Style is… Nothing is wrong with a BBQ Omelette. Particularly when they add green onions, cheddar cheese and their own bbq sauce. I say skip the obligatory BBQ n Slaw lunch… Go for the breakfast and enjoy a biscuit.

The ribs are tough, and well, what else can I say. I had ribs that I couldn’t get any meat off of. :(very disappointed. Can’t understand how a BBQ place can’t make an edible rib.

delivery peeps. Old Style Bar-​B-​Q was a staple. We actually have never been in the actual restaurant. We have only had their ribs. Hubby does dry I do wet! Opposites attract lol. It used to always be good but lately it has been lacking! Tough and fatty. For the sides, my husband loves the Baked Potato salad and fries and I love the beans and slaw! Have been hoping they got better but it may be time to move on.

Upon entry guests have to choose between a fast food side and a service side. Seemed curious to me since the menu is the same?
As for the Que-​The pork was ok, but nothing special; the sauce was too sweet and the slaw didn’t have a flavor that stood out.
The young lady that waited on us at the counter was very nice and is the sole reason the place isn’t getting only one star.
I wouldn’t suggest a return visit.

Just alright BBQ. Potato salad had a homemade taste to it, & the sauce itself was excellent. The pulled pork plate was not bad. The atmosphere of the restaurant is not ideal. Small space for eating. If you’re looking for a decent place to eat, go there. If you want a better BBQ, Memphis area has more to offer.

My family and I went to eat here last week. The food was fairly good (beans were amazing) I am however said to say the wait staff, was horrible. One of the waitresses was VERY VERY VERY rude. She not only insulted my cousin but also my boyfriend! Being a waitress myself I was extremely shocked by her actions considering we hadn’t done anything at all. Word of advice to this Establishment… Get new waitresses or better yet older more mature ones!!!

We were really disappointed after seeing the 5 star reviews. I have had BBQ all over the south and this BBQ was not anywhere near the best I’ve had.
We had pork sandwiches with slaw. The slaw was not sweet at all and almost sour. The sauce was only fair. The pork was not very smokey tasting.
Baked beans were ok. I only ate ½ because I didn’t want to waste my calories on them.
We then had desert. The pecan pie was the best thing I had there but it was lacking in pecans. The carrot cake and the chocolate cake was good. We all agreed that desert was the best thing we had there.
Although the girl that took our order was very nice I am sorry to say we would not go back.
