This place is amazing. It is under new ownership as of late 2015, and the new owner, Mary, is excellent. From our initial greeting to departure, everything was top notch. The home is only two minutes to the Oceanside beach and about 10 to Tillamook(no cell service at the house, but speedy wifi). Our room(Sea Mist) was private, very quiet save for the roar of the ocean in the distance, super comfy bed, and enormous bathroom with heated floors. The food was, if possible, even better than the lodging. Haystacks, waffles and yogurt parfaits for breakfast, apple cupcakes with cranberry frosting as an afternoon snack, chocolate covered strawberries — all homemade by Mary. Let’s just say we didn’t need lunch during our stay. Mary is an absolute delight — happy to chat with you over breakfast and offer local tips, or leave you be if you prefer privacy. She was also so sweet when my wife came down sick on our trip, offering late check-out and outfitting us with doggie bags and ice chips for the car ride home. And if you like dogs, Jessie the 16-year-old Wheaton terrier is always waiting downstairs and eager for a scratch behind the ears. We will most certainly be back!

Overall, a great secluded location away from the«touristy» areas. The house was built to be a B&B and with that has the added benefits of a large floor heated bathroom with a huge bathtub. Attention to detail is apparent with the level of cleanliness and the knowledge of the local and surrounding areas. Plan on going back during the summer season.

What a great place! This is a new home that was designed to be a B&B. I agree with Monique, the more expensive room is absolutely romantic. The deluxe memory foam mattress was the best I have ever slept on– I felt like I was melting in to it. The bath tub was the best I have ever seen in a B&B. The little details like the cookies and Tillamook ice cream were an amazing surprise in the evening when we arrived. We did some stargazing on the balcony. In the morning I really appreciated that Rosemary kept track of my dietary preferences from when I called and booked. I was full and happy upon leaving and would definitely love to return.

The B&B is in a beautifully decorated home, with rooms that feel victorian and beachy at the same time. It’s a husband and wife that own and run the B&B as a side business. The wife is from Yorkshire, England and she’d be happy to make you an English breakfast if you ask ahead of time. The rooms are very cute with touches like oars for curtain rods and antique ladders for towell racks. The more expensive room of the two is definitely romantic with a lovely balcony, four poster bed and double tub. Even though some of the amenitites that I would expect are missing, I would stay again especially since the accomodations are so limited in this area. O, and one more thing. There is absolutely no cell phone service so be prepared to use skype to call out. The B&B does have complimentary wifi. Also, don’t miss the cookies in the evening or the Tillamook icecream that they stock in the fridge for you. All these little touches are quite nice.
