Just returned from a three-night stay at the Oceanside Inn, and they are doing it right after a lengthy renovation. Not perfectly, but well. Our two-bedroom, two-bath suite had a spectacular view and all mod cons, some of which required directions, such as a potless coffeemaker and somewhat complex door lock. Our telephoned question was answered fairly promptly and the call was followed right away by the wonderful Tom Dotson, the property and maintenance manager, who understood that some of the«conveniences» can be unfamiliar to senior travellers. The beds were extremely comfortable, the décor unusually well chosen, and all was perfectly clean. With Roseanna’s Café practically next door and the sea at your feet, any missing details – and there are a few – seem less than minor. We were sorry to leave and are happily planning for next year.

The Oceanside Inn has recently undergone major renovations, transforming the longtime area landmark to a beautiful, high-end property. The units are completely updated and most have unbeatable views. The deck on the property is unbelievable and provides a view of the coast unlike any other, with easy access to the water. This is a great getaway and a real gem along the coast. I highly recommend!

I booked a room at the Oceanside Inn for my husband’s birthday. We’re easy going travelers and I expected modest accommodations. What I got was unacceptable. The room was grimy(tidy but very grimy), the bathroom had mildew, the windows were rusty and rust from metal fixtures was coming through the white coat of paint throughout the unit. We paid extra for a partial ocean view. The view out of one of the side windows(where we were supposed to see the ocean) was blocked by an RV(which looked like a permanent fixture for the summer)!! We did not even have a partial ocean view! We had problems accessing the room(the code worked but closing the door was problematic) and never once was a staff member on site for assistance. We had to use an outside phone and call Vacasa or some kind of site facilitator and they were unable to assist us. For the price(reasonable but NOT cheap), we were incredibly disappointed. I will be calling local B&Bs or looking for lodging in other nearby towns next time we want to head to Oceanside.

Friendly staff, nice rooms with 2 bedrooms, living area and kitchen for under $ 70/night. The Inn is right on the beach with gorgeous views and a relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

I recently stayed at the Oseanside Inn and what an amazing location! My wife and I walk down the steps from our room and were literally right on the beach. Our room had a kitchen which came in handy when we needed to save our left overs and reheat. The owner also runs the front desk and was very friendly.
