While it’s not fine dining, it’s perfectly good dining. At least during lunch. When I return for a dinner, I’ll tell you all about it. The largest table here fits 4. If it’s not busy, you can squeeze a 5th chair in at the end of a table but that’s about all, folks. There are plenty of tables but it’s a relatively small room. There’s also a counter if you don’t mind being extra casual. You can kind of tell that this is the place where the locals eat. Most of the crowd is older, affluent and they seem really comfortable when interacting with the employees. The reason I’m saying all this is because the negative reviews seem to be about long wait times and not being able to serve large parties at the drop of a hat. This ain’t Mo’s. If there are 6 of you looking for a 15 dollar pig-out at the beach, you best keep moving. We all had various sandwiches, accompanied by their chowder. Lots of places in these parts have some little tweak to make their chowder stand out. This one featured dill. I won’t say it dominated but you know it’s in there. I got a nice version of a toasted BLT. It had 2 kinds of cheese, tomato and was on toasted sourdough. It tasted fine and was a nice break from 2 days of deep-fried everything and pizza. They have what looks like a nice selection of desserts. The marionberry cobbler looked homemade and delicious but I was needing to take things easy. Next time, for sure. All in all, this place was just what I needed; nice, quiet, non-mountainous portions and a gentler touch in the food preparation. See you next year.

Went here both nights we were in town. We eat out a lot in Seattle and we would die to have a place with food this good, service this friendly and with a view like that to boot. Even without the view everything was incredibly fresh and well prepared. Definitely try the specials — they were different every night and wonderfully sourced. I will plan to stay 11 nights in Oceanside just to have each of their desserts. Save room for those(and/or share). We also saw a lot of regulars get a dessert to go.

I’ve been here a couple times and the food is amazing. A little pricey, but worth it. The Angel’s on Horseback are the best!!! ;o)

If you are going to this restaurant, go for the view. It’s exquisite. The food? Not so much. I ordered vegetarian fettuccine Alfredo. The sauce was like soup. Was it the vegetables? Maybe, but I have to think since it was on the menu, they should know to account for the extra water from the veggies. I ordered a side of bread. The steamer was out so the server put one in the microwave. It’s a nice dark loaf. I asked for to go silverware and got a fork and a spoon. And some butter pats on the side. I paid $ 20 and I have to say I might have been better off getting pasta from Pizza Hut. I got my order to go. It’s been a long day and I just wanted to chill. And it was toward the end of their day, so maybe I just caught them at an off time, on an off day. But if I had stayed, the $ 20 would have totally been worth it just for the view.

Delicious, fresh fish. I had the snapper. The view from our table was unmatched. Very quaint little place. Felt like we were guests in someone’s house. My girlfriend had the fisherman’s stew. She raved about it for desert we were torn between coconut cream pie and peanut butter pie. So we went with both and we’re not disappointed. Next time we are on the Pacific Coast in Oceanview we will be back.

Horrible. We waited over an hour for a tiny table for 3. Our server treated us as if we dirt on his shoe. We ordered two entrees and asked what they offered for children under 10? We were brought out, literally, 5 extremely tiny(half the size of a ‘chicken nugget’) pieces of UNDERCOOKED sauteed chicken with 6 french fries. The dinner plate was EMPTY. THIS is what they brought when we simply ASKED what was available for children… we were NOT given a choice. At any rate, the COST for this children’s dish was ELEVENDOLLARS!!! The adult meals were barely warm and seasoned improperly. The entire bill, including two cocktails, was over $ 125, which would be no problem if we there had been substance to the food served, the server would have been respectful or even professional, the wait had been less… any one of these factors might have made the cost of this massive disappointment more palatable, but it was doomed, I think, when we decided to bring our son with us to eat. Unfortunately it’s the only food game IN Oceanside and after traveling all day, we thought it would be a nice, relaxing meal. Nothing of sort. Also, there is very LITTLE parking nearby so be prepared to walk several blocks. Not a problem for those who are fit but could pose an issue for an elderly, infirm sort. Just saying. And they’ve made it abundantly clear(read other reviews) that they HATE children here. Please heed a warning… have some coffee & a pastry in Oceanside, but save your dining experience and dollars for Pacific City if you’re heading south, or Tillamook, Bay City, Garibaldi, Rockaway, Wheeler, Nehalem or Manzanita if heading north. There are PLENTY of really WONDERFUL, diversified restaurants with great food, service AND prices to be found AWAY from this horrible house of horrors.

Overpriced is the only thing I can think of to accurately describe this place. I don’t mind paying a high price tag for a quality experience but these high prices were not for quality of food but more because they are the only place in Oceanside open at night. The very small appetizer crab cakes were $ 19 just to give you an idea. They were average. In addition to this they were out of about half the menu. It got to the point where we had to ask them to point out what they DID have… rather than keep wasting time trying to choose a new item. The bread, which should be edible was very chewy and the butter they gave was hard butter pats wrapped in foil. Again. For the prices they charge. The best(and by best I mean worst) part was the handwritten piece of paper with the specials written in it with misspelled words and several items scratched out. I just feel like for the prices charged perhaps they could invest in a printer and present something a bit more professional. Again. For the prices they charge…

Quaint seaside café with delicious pasta dishes. Menu is more varied even than that with local dishes and checked. One of the few dining experiences in the Tillamook area. Well worth the jaunt over. This is a small restaurant so put you name in and go for a walk on the beach. You table will be ready afterwards and so will you tummy. Enjoy!

Perfectly quaint restaurant — seaside. Pasta, steak, seafood, vegetarian, something for all of those finicky eaters you vacay with. A nice wine selection, desserts to make you happy. Your entrée can have a variety of sauces, and a number of ways to be cooked too. I chose the scallops in a blush caper sauce with a side of acorn squash, an excellent combo. Rice or potatoes too, but the squash alone was more than enough. Our waiter was fast, humorous, and very efficient. Extremely reasonable, large portions, very fresh food. A deck outside with a glass windbreaker would make this place just spectacular.

Creative seafood dishes for the daily specials, great wine menu, and awesome views! I had lingcod with pesto and tomatoes baked in parchment paper. Despite a charred piece, the cod was succulent! My partner had salmon with cucumber dill shrimp salad on the side. The salad was delectable but could’ve used some crunch to help the texture. Salmon was a bit plain but still tasty. We both raved about the soups — a clam chowder and a seafood curry! I’d go back for a whole bowl of either. Nice servers — checked in on us multiple times. I asked them about the creative dishes and they said that the chefs dream meals up while they sleep! Classy glassware! Where can I buy some?

Came back to Oceanside since I remembered what an amazing time I had here last year, Roseanna’s is the place to eat. Try to go before sundown because everybody wants to watch the sunset during dinner here, but if you just make it before the crowds, you can head down to the beach afterwards to watch the epic sunsets over the Three Arches which this area is famous for. Food is always great here, even if slightly pricier than other places but totally worth it. The desserts here are a must. Try to keep some room for them. I ordered the Tres Leches cake and could barely finish it. Not because it wasn’t delicious, which it was, but because the portion was huge and the cake was super rich! The chowder here is also exceptionally good, so try to fit a bowl of that too if you can. Very, very friendly service. I have nothing but good things to say about this place.

This was my first time coming here and I had no idea what to expect. They didn’t even have a fryer. We almost left and went to a different restaurant after we heard. I order the 8 ounce filet mignon, the meat was good, but the flavor of the char was just a burnt taste and not flavorful. We also ordered a desert, which was very good. I will come back, but they really need to get a fryer.

An incredible view plus an excellent home cooked meal? Indeed. The clam chowder was hot and herbie. The special soup was chicken veggie rice, so flavored. The fish sandwich seemed good, my husband ate every bite. Now… For the desserts. WOW. Just do it. Triple chocolate mousse, and a cinnamon roll. All amazing. The service was fantastic. Thanks for the great meal. A great place to have a warm meal and watch the beach goers. We even got to see a paraglider land on the small patch of grass. Very cool.

I loved this little place. There’s nothing else around, if we’re being honest, but even so, I was glad I went. Kind waitress, the beautiful Oregon coastline right beside us. The food was tasty, I got a hot sandwich and was pleased :) im not much into seafood so I love having other options. The décor Is ridiculous in an endearing way but I’ll Definitely come back.

Heads up, this place is small, but it doesn’t feel too terribly crowded. The Pacific snapper with the lime ginger sauce was tender, flakey, not overdone and the breading was crispy, maybe I didn’t read the description, but I wasn’t expecting breading. However, the lime ginger sauce was really mild and I could only taste it in the first few bites. The veggies were pretty bland and the potatoes were just two small baked Yukon potatoes, no salt, no butter. I will say this, the clam chowder my husband got and the bread he ordered was amazing. There was also a fly buzzing around constantly and maybe they don’t do refills, but or drinks were never refilled. Moral of the story, the clam chowder and bread are simple amazing. Some of the best bread, I’ve ever had.

We stopped here for lunch on a recommendation from a friend. We were very disappointed in our choice. While the view is great as many have said, the seating area seems to not have been updated in many years. And it doesn’t have the quaint feeling of age, it’s more the disorganized feeling of a patchwork of things being added over the years. I feel like the quality versus price issue of eating at the coast was in full display here. The boys had items off the kids menu. My son, who loves grilled cheese, barely ate half of his uninspired sandwich. The other son decided to go for the more expensive chicken strips/tenders/chunks. What came out were overly breaded cubes of chicken meat, looking nothing like the photo that is on this page. I don’t know if the restaurant also uses the chicken for salads or something, but it really seemed like my son’s portion was just leftover bits from a parmesan entrée. My wife and I shared(because of the cost) a crab dish that seemed to have a lot more bay shrimp than crab in it. It was so not memorable, I couldn’t even tell you if it was supposed to be a salad or cakes. Unfortunately I think that Roseanna’s has fallen victim to the trap of a captured audience. There aren’t many choices in Oceanside and they seem to have a reputation, so they are sitting back on their laurels and not giving people much for their money. Especially after going to the Schooner in Netarts and across the street to Brewin in the Wind, we will not be back to Roseanna’s
