Very good food. Got take out spaghetti and meatballs. Could have used a bit more sauce but it didn’t disappoint. My husband said the man who had our order was very nice.

We had a lovely lunch here for our family of 4 on Valentine’s Day. Our waiter was also one of the owners and was so kind and generous to our military family. The food was super yummy and plentiful. We both ordered tasty drinks that were recommended and were offered samples of anything we’d like first. The highlight of the meal, for myself, I’m sure we each had our favorites, was the ricotta raspberry cheesecake and cappuccino I had for desert. I’ll be craving those two items for the rest of my life, I am certain!

My server Addie knew her stuff. She recommended a steak special that sounded great but I went with the veal parm and I was not disappointed. She paired a smooth Malbec. The bread with pesto to start was addicting. I would recommend this place to anyone looking great family owned Italian joint.

Arrived about 6pm… restaurant busy… but we found a cozy seat. No wait. Greeted with a smile. Seated immediately with Tony. Perfect atmosphere and enviroment for it’s cuisine. Food presentation very nice. House Merlot well made and even purchased a bottle. House special flat iron steak cooked to perfection. To the point; Overall experience is one not to miss… so I will be back.

The food at Fratellis does not disappoint, and their prices are very reasonable. Easily this restaurant would make a good place for date night or for a night out with the kids. This may sound odd, but they also have the best ice (same ice at Sonic, and what Taco Bell used to have decades ago).

My secret go-​to when I have to bring a potluck dish. Who has time to cook? I just select a pan of pasta, call it in earlier in the day, pick up and get rave compliments every time.
Really awesome for dine-​in, too. I suggest the steak.

Food and warm greeting not the same as Capazoli’s, which was the original establishment. I hope they improve; I’m open to revisit.

This was my first visit since they have reopened and my family was not disappointed. I’ve always loved the pizza here and was looking forward to it all day, plus the bread and oil combination is on point. So glad this place is back open and my family will definitely be returning.

Chicken Cesar is amazing– I’ve ordered take out and eaten in multiple times at this location. Today the service and food was on point as always.

I love how you can order a pre dinner drink in the waiting area. This place is busy, so we are willing to wait and having a glass of wine makes us feel valued and welcome.

Had lunch with my son here after a day at Mission San Luis Rey. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Their lunch specials were perfectly portioned and priced. We received FRESHLY baked focaccia and an absolutely delicious pesto to dunk it in. My chicken Parmesan with the Roma cream sauce was fantastic! We cannot wait to visit again!

Dave is the BEST waiter i have ever encountered in my 25 years of life! He knew the menu front to back and when we would ask questions about the food he would gracefully recite a beautiful, almost poem like, explanation of said item. Seriously, it was like listening to a poet speak.
The food was amazing! We went in for a friends anniversary dinner and we were impressed. As a young lad i went there when it was «Killer Pizza From Mars» and going back brought me memories. It looks different now, very upscale and sophisticated.
My wife and I were so impressed we decided to make this out go to Italian restaurant. Because if the food and the wonderful staff. Especislly David. The man’s a legend! Diamond Dave should be his nickname.

The staff was pleasant and friendly, the service was great, and the food was wonderful. Must have is the Tuscan Soup

We loved this place. We ordered a meat calzone & pizza and boy was it delicious. Definitely need to try this place.

Try everything and for sure you won’t be disappointed. We love the pizzas, but we have tried many items.

My first time back since they re-​opened. The menu has changed and I’m not thrilled.
I ordered the Caprese salad and a side of meatballs.
The salad was… interesting. Wedges of tomatoes (some very over ripe) sitting on top of this white, mushy stuff. It was all smothered in a balsamic type sauce with shredded basil. The white stuff did not look, feel or taste like mozzarella… it scared me.
My meatballs, which were described by the waiter as «decent size», were served in a bowl that should be reserved for sauces, maybe a scoop of ice cream. They had a nice consistency, but they were so overloaded with oregeno, that’s really all I tasted. They were served with red sauce, but barely enough to cover the meatballs… probably because the bowl was too small!
The bread is amazing, the wine is over priced!

I really want to love this place. Italian, cool atmosphere in an area of town that doesn’t have a lot to compete with but I just can’t seem to order the right dish.
The service is wonderful. They are very accommodating and it is fairly easy to get a reservation. They have a good following so they are definitely doing a lot right. The house bread (more like focaccia) and herby olive oil dipping sauce is a great start to a meal. We decided to split an antipasto salad. It was tasty, a nice tang in the dressing and I like how they sliced up everything nicely so you could have many flavors in your mouth all at once. Unfortunately one of those things in my mouth was an olive pit and I unsuspectingly bit so hard I was at risk of chipping a tooth. The entrée were really where I was not so happy. My husband order the ravioli special and while not the ravioli and sauce were good, there was so much sauce it was almost like a soup. If you really like cream sauce, this is for you. For me, this is a bit too much rich sauce. The hostess mentioned how good their chicken was so I decided to go for the chicken piccata. I was underwhelmed. It was kind of bland. The chicken wasn’t dry, I’ll give them that but I’m used to the thin cut crisp pan seared chicken in this plate and this chicken almost tasted boiled. The linguini was good and possibly house made.
I may go back and try a pizza next time and hopefully I will have more luck with that.

From the moment we stepped in the door we were treated so wonderfully by the staff! Service was exceptional and they were very attentive. We chose the anitpasta and chicken piccata. Great experience!

This was hands down the best dining experience we’ve ever had. The waiter David was so enthusiastic about the menu and wines. He made the whole experience amazing. I cannot believe anyone would leave them a bad review. The food was great. We got lasagna, cheese raviolis in vodka pink sauce and spaghetti and meatballs. No one complained about their food. Bread and olive oil was delicious. After some apps and bread we had to take our food to go. Portion sizes are just right. We love this place! We will be back.

Great place! Stopped by for lunch split the chicken parmigiana with my husband the portions were just right. The corn chowder soup was too salty for our taste which they exchanged for a salad with no questions asked
We had a sweet tooth and had the cannoli… They were very good!
Overall this is a great place for a nice relaxed meal!
