Upper Crust Pizza

Pretty decent pizza place. The dough is very light. They also have traditional pasta and salads, nothing too fancy.

I really like the attention to service here. Local Italian spot very affordable. You need to try the lasagne, hot turkey sandwich and the pizza. The garlic bread is excellent along with a salad with there ranch dressing that’s amazing. The sand Wich is made with there own hot wrap style. Check it out they won’t disappoint.

Shhhh… Don’t tell my trainer … But I was starving after my workout so I figured carbs would be good haha! And they gave the BEST pasta salad … I came for pasta salad yes noodles, carrots, broccoli and Italian dressing… It’s amazing

Pizza is pretty good here. classic-​style, nothing fancy, a lot of toppings. But everything else served here is below average. boring pastas, wings, salads and sandwiches. They’re just too old-​fashioned for my liking, not a lot of flavor there. But most of their customers don’t care, as long as it’s discounted. They have inexpensive lunch specials that bring in the masses.
Service is hit and miss. Their dining room is the worst part, a sad throwback to the 1980s.
While the pizza isn’t bad here, there are much better dining options nearby.

This is my go to Friday night pizza place. I’ve been coming here for years and they are consistent with their delicious pizza. You can’t go wrong here. Great service and friendly staff.

The pepperoni pizza was great, but the parmesan cheese at the table ruins it. I don’t know if it’s even parmesan cheese, strong salty taste. The sausage pizza was lacking sausage. The place is not a nice place, dirty feel, older feel, not comfortable. Bathroom was nice. Napkins pull one at a time, Annoying. It just seems like they are cutting too many corners here.

Came here for the Monday night special, wasn’t prepared for what was about to hit the table. Come here hungry, or bring someone to split the food with you. First thing they bring you is the salad, a pretty good sized salad with the little tub of dressing on the side. This thing has the usual lettuce, tomatoes, some carrot sticks, and is topped with what seemed like enough cheese for a personal sized pizza. Pour a little dressing at a time when you eat the salad, since you won’t have any room on the plate for mixing it in.
After finishing that, out comes the spaghetti with meatballs (extra charge for the meatballs), and the garlic bread. You get your choice of marinara sauce or meat sauce when you order, I went with the meat sauce. Each meatball is about the size of a golf ball, maybe slightly bigger. The garlic bread is like a half of a loaf of french bread, you get 4 huge pieces to go with your already good sized plate of spaghetti. I was struggling to finish at least the spaghetti after eating the salad, but I was only able to get 3 pieces of bread down.
The pizza here is pretty good too, that’s the reason I usually came here, but always wondered what the specials tasted like. They’re very nicely priced for the amount of food they give you, I recommend this place, I don’t remember having anything I didn’t really like. Just know when to throw in the towel and bring some leftovers home.

The food, staff, management, and experience here has been wonderful EVERY TIME I’ve been here.
This is the place for food by yourself, with a hot date or if you’re having a big event. They can pretty much accommodate you if you call ahead and let them know what you’re looking for.
If I could give it 6 stars I would!

First time at upper crust. I ordered spaghetti with meatballs and a 12″ thin crust medium pizza. The thick crust pizza came first and 5min later the spaghetti. The meatballs were completely dry. I asked the manager David for a bowl of sauce and he said «that’s the way we do it here, if you want sauce on your meatballs I have to charge you». I retuned the whole plate of spaghetti with meatballs and asked for a refund. David continued to argue with me all over $ 0.50 for a small side of spaghetti sauce, as he threw away the food.
Customers are not valued or right at this restaurant. Even his employees seemed dismayed and apologized for David’s rude behavior.
I’d rather take my business where it’s wanted.

I love this place. Pizza — amazing, ranch — awesome, taste — awfully good! Their Pizza is to die for and it really tastes great. If you like ranch then you need to try this one! It does cost $ 0.25 per ranch but it is so worth it. I love their ranch and food is great!

This is our favorite pizza place hands down. The pizza is delicious and always made fresh. Service is great and the staff is friendly. Food quality is really good and the pizza never disappoints. Oh and you can’t beat the pricing!

Best pizza I’ve ever had!!! Although it’s a bit messy, it’s understandable due to how packed it always is! I recommend ordering your pizza in advance and avoid waiting.
Have nothing bad to say about customer service :)
I do wish they had more than 1 restroom.
Ps: Chicken Alfredo is my FAVORITE! And no one makes it like they do; give it a try.

Ima Regular, I love this place. I always come here with my girlfriend and we have a fantastic time every visit. Reasonably Priced & Awesome selection.

Delicious pizza, very accommodating staff. The last time I came was on Memorial Day, we were stoked it was open until 10pm and we got there around 8:30. The restaurant was a mess, I’ll admit that it was hard to find a clean table but I figured it was a busy day. I also overheard the really cool kid that rang us up tell another customer that it was busier than expected that day and they were very understaffed.
Speaking of that kid, I don’t know his name but he was awesome. He giggled a little when I ordered my own small pizza without cheese and then the house salad without cheese, dressing on the side… he said «are you lactose intolerant?» That made me laugh too.
My non lactose intolerant friend got the garlic cheese pizza, if you have never had it, HAVE IT. I used to eat it years ago before I’d get sick from it. Okay so it’s probably the most unhealthy thing you could put into your mouth, then add their delicious ranch dressing with that and you’re set.
The house salad was hilarious. It was literally iceberg lettuce, 4 cherry tomatoes, 4 carrots. Humorously barren. Whatever, we munched on it like little rabbits.
My «no cheese» pizza came out delicious. Of course I added some basil, sundried tomatoes, and onions and it’s truly was delicious.
All in all this upper crust provides great pizza and a fun atmosphere. If you’re ever in a rush or hosting a party they do offer take out!

The lunch specials here are ridiculously amazing! I got a whole sandwich, small salad and drink for $ 8. The salad even though very simple was the best small salad I have ever had. The sandwich was perfect. The only downside is that I recommend calling in ur orders because for me at least my food almost took 20 – 25 mins to get. It was definitely worth the wait but when you are on lunch, you can’t waste time like that :/​I will definitely go back and try more items.

Just got home from enjoying a small pizza — and still have 4 slices left.
Although I got there a little after 9 PM, I didn’t feel rushed and the staff was quite nice.

Ok so first off I want to comment on the disregard for customer service. also my main complaint is the lack of cleanliness. last Tuesday I was craving the ranch and ½&1/2 salad so I came in for lunch and got food with my family. I ordered my mom a slice of pizza and half way through she noticed a hair on her pepperoni. I know the owners so I let it slide and just kinda stopped eating. now I come back a week later because once again I was craving a salad. sitting down eating dinner with my family once AGAIN I open a ranch and sure thing there is ANOTHER piece of hair in my ranch right at the top. this time I took it to the manager, and she simply asked if I wanted more ranch. and I was expecting something else like an apology? a small refund? as a full paying customer I expect
more when I come into eat and not get hair in my food. and this has happened MORE THAN ONCE. their food isn’t good enough to keep getting hair in it. my family and I are not coming anymore. and if I REALLLLY need some Uppercrust I will go to vista. the extra 15 mins from home will be worth it to not get hair in my food and get some decent customer service when there is a problem.

At first glance… awesome. We walk in and get helped. The gentlemen at the front was very nice and assisted us in ordering. We have never been here before so we had to ask about the family special. We opted for the family special #3 for $ 28.55. It includes a large 1 topping pizza, large order of wing, 4 drinks to fill at the fountain, and garlic cheese bread. We had 5 in our party 2 adults and 3 kids. We figured it wouldn’t be enough so we ordered an additional small pizza and a large salad which feeds 3 – 4 people.
We decided to take advantage of the check in special of $ 3 off any pizza excluding mini. Well, turns out that coupon on Unilocal isn’t valid anymore and they wouldn’t honor it since it was from te previous owners. They mentioned they had coupons on their website to take place of the Unilocal one. I apologize but i forgot the very nice and understanding lady. She explained the mix up and how they have been trying to get the coupon taken down. She ended up honoring the coupon for us and we were very appreciative.
The food came And let me just says the salad and additional pizza definitely was not needed. We have enough leftovers for a second meal. Woo!!!
Back to the food… the salad was fresh and crisp… no nasty lettuce. The garlic pizza bread was delicious n a generous size. The wings were good, a little softer then I like since I like my wings crispy. The pepperoni pizza was GOOD and the special pizza was full of toppings (onions, mushrooms, green peppers, sausage and tomatoes) so full some were falling off.
We all left full! Thank you again upper crust pizza for your delicious food and good customer service.

Placed a phone order for my new favorite: Pesto Pizza. The girl who answered was not very friendly but, we all have bad days. I order from here several times a month and this is not the usual. My reason for this particular review is because of Jake. This kid is always friendly, super helpful, and ready with a smile! What a gem.

I love places like this! Super casual, laid back, no fluff over the top let’s add all this crazy weird crap to your pizza non sense!
I came in on a Friday night and OMG! You would swear this place was being promoted by a celebrity! Why? Because there wasn’t a place to park! I’m always near here and have never seen the parking lot situation this crazy! If you’re looking for a hidden Oceanside gem where locals go for good, simple, classic pizza, this is it.
I’m more of a simpleton and when a place makes the simple things taste great, you take notice! Their mozzarella is homemade as I’m sure everything else is, but I could of just eaten gobs of mozzarella! Perfectly cheesy and salty! Also I have to make note of the ranch dressing. I’m not a ranch person probably ever since I saw a friend of mine at Denny’s get a side of ranch and put all of her hash browns in there and just started eating it from the bowl! However this ranch is AMAZING and definitely homemade!
We had two classic salads, Special Calazone, and BBQ Chicken Pizza. I’m sure no matter what you get it tastes amazing! Even if you get their pasta just get a side of ranch dressing! Trust me just do it! Pizza was hot and amazing with gooey cheese and the salad definitely made me feel less guilty about indulging in carb overload.
I also heard they have really great sandwiches, so I want to come back and try those!
