went there on Saturday with a group of 18 for my daughter’s graduation. the service was good and the food was great. you wont leave hungry or disappointed. try the seraduta for dessert, and the sangria was excellent.

BY FAR THE BEST PORTUGUESE/​SPANISH RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND!!! There food is authentic and delicious! My favorite is there skirt steak and paella and my husband always gets the rodizio! We live about an hour away from this restaurant and still go there on a daily basis thats how much we love this place! In fact i had my family graduation party and wouldn’t change anything regarding the service and food!!! You will not be disappointed and will not walk away hungry!

Although this place is sort of a sit down spot, I have gotten take out from here a few times when I’m in the mood for something a little different. The service is great and the wait staff will always offer me a drink or fry up some chips while I wait. They package the food nicely and it travels well. The roasted chicken is really good. It’s split, flattened, roasted on both sides and served quartered over rice, potato chips and served with steamed mixed vegetables and salad. Add a side of black beans and you easily have enough for two people. Sitting at the bar you can easily polish of a small pitcher of sangria, not because you’ll be waiting long, but because it is that good. I gotta come here with the wife sometime, or bring the boys and strap on the feed bag but in the mean time, the take out has not disappointed. Check it out…

Found this place online — always looking for new places that serve rodizio style food. So far this is the best local place I have found. Really enjoyed, clean, and interesting foods. Loved the grilled mozzarella and more.
We will definitely be back for more… maybe tonight!

Had the seafood paella here last night & it was delicious-​loaded with lobster, clams, calamari and rice, their sangria is good– stronge enough to give you a good buzz. Stuffed shells with bacon– Fried Calamari was also amazing. Two appetizers and a paella for two plus a pitcher of sangria– $ 108.00 they have a second location on N Village in RVC with a wide selection of Tapas– cant wait to try it.

Antonio’s is a restaurant that not situated with other restaurants so you really have to know about it by word of mouth. The chicken dish is delicious and the mixed BBQ grill for two is huge with all types of meats smothered in onions. The meals come with salad, rice and potato chips. Everything we have eaten here has been great. The peach sangria is delicious also. The wait staff is very nice and accommodating.

This restaurant is delicious !!! From meat to seafood — The service is great! Best Portuguese food on the island! I highly recommend the natas do ceu for dessert (heavenly whites).

Top sirloin, roast beef, chorizo, turkey wrapped in bacon, chicken wings, short ribs… list goes on.
All served with a deliciously dressed salad, rice, beans, fried banana, fresh potato chips, bread… ask for a secret specialty — grilled cheese. To top it off they brought baked pineapple with cinnamon and sugar. Go you won’t be sorry.
Just remember, stop yourself before you explode!

This is definitely a meat-​fest with very bland, plain sides. Come for the meat! The restaurant itself is very small and you’re right on top of the table next to you, not leaving much room for the huge portions of food you get here. Service was fine and attentive.

I wanted to try something different for my birthday so my family and I went to try Antonio’s. It isn’t a big place but is perfect for a family of 4 going out for a birthday. The food was awesome… my sister and my mom had the BBQ Chicken which they enjoyed alot. My dad and I had the Rodizio Churrasco (mixed BBQ), it included strip steak, sirloin steak, sausage, pork chops, bacon wrapped turkey, ribs, and chicken topped with sautéed onions. Both meals included rice, beans, homemade chips and veggies. They started us with salad, which they brought as much as we asked for. They also give each table mozzarella and tomato with olive oil and gaeta olives with bread… Giant portions, great food and attentive wait staff. Also the price was right! $ 76.00 for 4 people with all the food we recieved was a steal (we went on a wednesday which was 15% off entire bill if you pay cash) But even still the prices are not insane. I will definitely come back for more and recommend that everyone try this place out!

Love this place so much! Incredibly tasty food and modestly priced.
The chicken is a no brainier every time. Just can’t go wrong. And you must pair it with their hot sauce.
Very friendly wait staff as well.

Came here for a Saturday lunch at 12:30. We were skeptical because we were the first customers of the day (and also because the Unilocal rating wasn’t great…), but we were pleasantly surprised! Food came out quickly and was delicious. We had the stuffed clams and stuffed mushrooms, both of which were fresh and flavorful. We also got a whole branzini fish and the mixed BBQ — also delicious. Portions were HUGE for 4 people! The waiter was very pleasant and attentive, even when more guests came in. I would go back.

My friend and I sat down for one hour and food never came until we decided to ask for the check and walk out. We were really hungry and the long wait made the whole experience extremely disappointing. Service was ok, but it seems that when they get busy they do not know how to handle the demand. Personally don’t think we will ever be back to this restaurant :(
P.S don’t take your date here, the place might be ok for lunch time, not for a nice diner.

The Quick: huge portions of delicious food over a long dinner; a fun different eating experience.
Favorite Dish: if a sauce could count as a dish, the award would go to the homemade hot sauce and steak salsa. Other mouth watering options: ribs and the sangria!
The details: my Italian mother described this meal as a «food orgie». The meal starts w olives and cheese they bring to the table. The appetizers on the menu look good but be warned– there is SO much delicious meat to be eaten. We ordered the meat platter for 3 which came with a good sized salad for the table, rice, beans, plantains, delicious homemade chips, and a huge platter of steak, chicken, turkey wrapped in bacon, ribs, onions, and more. It was SO much food. Let me repeat, SO much food. It was delicious and we get to enjoy it again tomorrow– what a treat.
The Service: sweetest waitress ever. Such a nice woman and very attentive. This restaurant is European style, meaning the meal is very long and the entrees took an hour to come out. If you’re in a rush, this is not the place for you. If you’re in the mood for a leisurely dinner over great sangria, I recommend.
The Damage: the huge meal platter for 3 with all the fixings was around $ 75. Considering we have lunch and possibly dinner for tomorrow as well I think it was a great deal. We will be returning!

If one thinks that they have to go far away to get a great meal, they are sadly mistaken.
Craving Rodizio (the skewered BBQ meats) that Portuguese restaurants are known for, we came across Antonio’s — SCORE!!! Actually make that home run!
It was a Monday night, when all the other rodizio places are closed on LI and we wanted meat-​fest! So we come across Antonio’s that offers us meat-​fest for $ 30.95 a person (cheaper then the others!)
Upon getting seated we place our order and wait for the meats to start coming. Since the rodizio is cooked to order and not just waiting for the next guest to arrive, we wait and had a terrific salad and olives and some homemade cheese and oil. YUM! We could tell this was the start of something magical. Out come the side dishes — the homemade potato chips, rice, beans and what’s that, oh Fried Banana! YUM! Now onto the endless supply of meat — (in no real order, Turkey wrapped in bacon, sausage, baby back ribs, top sirloin steak, beef short ribs, pork wrapped in bacon, skirt steak, another steak, a homemade cheese log grilled, and they ended the night with grilled pineapple in a port wine reduction with cinnamon & sugar.
We were the only people in the restaurant that ordered the rodizio and the table next to us was envious and wished that they had ordered it. Service was terrific and we were able to get another order of the fried bananas because they were so delightful.
Trust me — if you have that craving to be an all-​out carnivore, this is your place. I will gladly be returning soon with more family and friends — What a find!!!

Went here recently and this place was so disappointing. They charge quite a bit per entry but almost everything is tasteless, poorly prepared and stale. I was really excited to try a Portuguese place and this place was a big disappointment.
I felt like I was in the show Hotel Hell at one of those restaurants that are terrible that they show.
The only good thing about the place was the waitress. She was very nice and very sweet. If not for her, I would give this place zero stars if I could.
Stay away and go somewhere else. :(

My boyfriend wanted to give this Churrasequeria a try for their Rodizio. It was disappointing compared to similar restaurants in the area.
I had the grilled Tilapia. It was cooked well but had too much lime.
My boyfriend said the meat was just okay.
The restaurant was pretty empty so I felt like the waiters were hovering of us. Of course everyone likes attentive service, but at one point a group of the staff were just standing in a corner staring at us. I felt a little uncomfortable.
It’s also pretty lame that they have a credit card minimum AND don’t accept AMEX or Discover. Restaurants should make it easy for people to pay.
