BREAKFAST BUFFET PATRON
Went on a Sunday morning for the all you can eat breakfast deal with some friends. Just a couple of things stood out. First, the food was OK. Eggs weren’t lumpy powder eggs, but could’ve been a little better. Sausage and bacon was done well, as was the french toast. However, the sand dollar pancakes were AWFUL. Small, undercooked, ugh.
Also, they had a hard time refilling the stations. If we’re doing an all you can eat, wouldn’t you think the items would be replenished for those getting the deal? And they weren’t busy to the point where people were just loading up.
Overall it was good, I would go back. Just some minor hiccups.

This is formally Dr. Unks. I had heard wonderful things about the food here, particularly breakfast. I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon to catch a baseball game on TV with a beer and some munchies. The service was OK and they wound up having live entertainment which was also OK. Part of the time was happy hour and prices were fine. The munchies on the other hand were nothing more than deep fried frozen items. This was a bit disappointing. I’ll give this place a try for dinner on a different day of the week and see if I caught them on an off day. The location is easy to get in an out of if your heading to or from Assateague so its too convenient to not give them another try.
