The good: Clean rooms
The bad: NOISE!!! The rooms are poorly sound proofed. You can hear the room next door, the pacing of the lunatic that was above us that was pacing past midnight, the water pipes and all the flushing as well as the noisy air conditioner. We happened to get one of the worse rooms in the hotel. It was on the first floor by the front desk, near the hotel dining area and across from the maids closet…
If you stay here, try not to get one of the rooms that is facing I-​75.
Staff was accommodating but not very friendly.
The stay was ok if not for all the noise.

Good location near lots of good restaurants, shops, and I-​75. Good breakfast bar. Room and staff was good. Only issue was drain in sink had foul odor. Like rotten eggs. Pricey for one night.

Great value through Priceline. Convenient location. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Since I’m recovering from knee surgery, I was grateful for the well-​equipped handicapped bathroom No restsurant or lounge but lots of options close by If you want food delivered, ask at front desk. They will give you some menu options. Small Frig in room. Snacks and microwave in Lobby. Haven’t had free breakfast yet but am optimistic! Very pleasant check in. Would stay here again.

It smells like mildew as soon as you walk in the room and the rooms can get a little humid seeing as the cleaning staff turns your air off when they come in. The staff is nice and they are the only reason that I’m giving this hotel 3 stars. I love Marriot, but this one is a definite fail for them.

I have been staying at this hotel for business trips for 10 years. Staff is very friendly and accommodating and the rooms are clean. It is near a lot of restaurants. Breakfast is a typical Marriott Continental type, not great but if you travel with family and want to trim a little off the budget it will due, some days are better than others and it isn’t the exact same thing every day; close, but they do mix it up. It is off of 75 but I don’t really hear the traffic even on the interstate side so unless you are an extremely light sleeper I wouldn’t think it would be an issue.

If you have the unfortunate experience of staying here, be sure to tell the unaccommodating staff that you will not stay on the side that backs up to I75. When I called for another room, they had none on the other side. Not sure it would be much better, as loud as it is. Maybe some experienced guests knew to request ahead of time! It is so loud that you will most definitely not be able to sleep. This hotel should be half the rate they charge. As a loyal Marriott rewards business traveler, shame, shame.

Stayed here for a business trip. The room was a bit small compared to most hotel rooms but it was very clean. The hotel sits near a busy road which is great as you have access to everything you need, but there is some traffic noise in the room and I would have liked to have made the air conditioner a bit louder to block that noise. However I chose to sleep in the bed farthest from the window and it didn’t bother me from sleeping. Nice desk to use and I could turn the tv in that direction to view while working. Extra outlet by the bedside table allowed me to plug in my phone when I slept. I like doing this so I can wake to my phones alarm that I know will be dependable. A few restaurants and shops within walking distance. Breakfast room is a bit small but they do open an attached room when it gets busy. Wifi was a bit slow, but not annoying. They did offer high speed internet at an additional fee, I strongly feel that should be included in the room.

They were super accommodating. I had an allergic reaction to something either bug spray or a cleaning chemical and they switched me rooms. In the end I had to check out but they did it free of charge I was here on business. I’m so grateful they tried to accommodate me what a great staff! The rooms were really clean and staff was great!

A very nice and clean hotel located off 75. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Many restaurants near by. I would stay here again if I am in town.

We only travel to Ocala to ride the Santos trail and we are usually too exhausted to travel back to Orlando. This time we decided to stay at the Fairfield and it was a great experience.
The price is very reasonable for area hotels. We paid about the same we had paid before for other low-​budget hotels. It is not far at all from the heart of Ocala. In about a mile you have several restaurants and the mall. In three miles you have the movie theater and more restaurants.
The rooms were nice and clean. The front desk clerk was very friendly and in the evenings they have free cookies for the guests! Good choice hotel in Ocala.

Stayed here after a gator football game. Friendly staff, clean rooms and free wifi. I would stay here again. Price is right.
