I had this product professionally installed in my foyer, living room and dining room. While it looks stunningly beautiful with it’s dark rich color… it does not hold up well at all. I have never seen a hardwood floor hold up so poorly. If a shoe or even a finger nail scuffs across the top of the stain, it comes off leaving a white scratch mark taking off the finish. It also dents very easily. We sat on a piano bench with floor protectors attached and they left a perfect circular hole in the floor. It’s almost as if the wood is hollow. I bought this floor because it was solid hardwood and the sales person said this was extremely durable since it was Mahogany. This must not be Mahogany is my only guess. Do not install this wood if you plan on walking on it. Very costly mistake. Lumber Liquidators says this is normal wear and tear.

Love my Bellawood Cumaru floors! Holding up great to a dog and three cats. We have no scratches yet from me or the pets, and the wood has evened out nicely since the install.
We did it ourselves, it’s not a bad time if you make sure that you have the right tools for the project — this stuff is so dense so a lot of nailers don’t fire right through it. We bought one of the Norge 18gage nailers to install from them too and that worked great — also ended up using the nailer in my husbands’ aunts house as well so you can get well more than one use!

It’s a warehouse of flooring and trim stuff like that. If you buy, they recommend you buy a bit over your mark so you dont run out of meterials, but if you return unopened boxes/materials they make you pay 20% restock fee which is robbery. They don’t have good customer service skills. Nobody said thanks or have a good day.
