4 solid stars for BJ’s! If you haven’t been here for 4 years, come back and check it out! I think they have worked some of the kinks out! This is my second«members» club, Costco being the first one I participated in years ago. I like BJ’s just fine! I’m surprised by the customer service complaints as I’ve never had anything but wonderful customer service here. Especially from the folks in the deli section who seem very eager to please! I mostly self checkout but did have to get help from the cashier once and it hardly felt like pulling teeth… Nice variety of goods kept in stock, rotisserie chicken, Uno’s Pizza to go, butcher on site, full deli, the store is clean, they sell gas and propane at a discount, and, as someone else mentioned, they have self checkout lines which really speed the checkout process up(as long as you aren’t using coupons, which would be better with an actual cashier). I’m very pleased with BJ’s and glad to be a member! I got a groupon deal for the membership which included a gift card… google them and see what you can find! I’m very much impressed with the steaks! I’ve purchased them several times here and have been very happy with the price and quality of the meat. Overall I’m very happy with my membership at BJ’s. It is almost worth it just for the price of gas! I’m not sure if Costco has changed, but at one point you could only use AMEX for credit. You can use whatever credit card you like at BJ’s!

TERRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE Stop hiring old, angru employees that don’t like people for your information desk and cashiers for the self checkout that don’t want to assist customers when they are just standing around doing absolutely nothing. Asking for help in this place is like pulling teeth. Only good thing is the gas is usually cheaper than other places.

Better then Sam’s Club and about the same as a Costco when it comes to inventory and selection. Plus they have a gas station as well that usually is cheaper then the competition. Plus there are no crazy long lines like at most Costco’s.I think it really helps they have those self-service checkout lines. That saves so much time when you just have a few items and want to get in and out really quick. You can’t do that at Costco. However, if you’re one of those people that uses alot of coupons, stick with a line with a cashier. It was a pain when I tried to self checkout and use coupons. I think it took me longer for me to pay because I had to wait for someone to help me process my coupon when the scanner couldn’t read some of my coupons.

Having a Bj’s club membership helps save with gas, since their prices are usually cheaper than most gas stations. I have noticed they usually only have one register with an actual cashier. It seems they want you to self check-out, no matter how large your order is.

I’m not a big fan of these bulk buying places. This one has an okay selection, reasonable prices. I go there for my business to stock up on cleaning supplies, etc. Don’t really use it for my home.

This is a poorly run store. My husband and I kept getting flyers for free day passes for BJs since this location is relatively new. We stopped in right before Christmas to use our day pass and check the place out. Upon walking in we were greeted by 2 men and one explained how the day pass wasn’t truly a day pass so we would have to pay the 3% more for purchasing as non-members. We thought that wasn’t bad so we picked up 2 or three items as gifts but when we went to the register they said we had to pay the 15% more… we told them what the door greeters said and they just said«they were wrong». I don’t mind mistakes but at least be kind about them. We put the items back and left with a bad taste in our mouth. We were once considering joining, but due to bad customer service, we are def not returning here.
