Sushi is very fresh and so delicious!!! I went back twice in one week just for the sushi!!! The Chinese entrees and seaweed salad were both very good as well!

I’ve been eating here for years. I still come here after moving away from the area because it is the best sushi. I recommend the Oaks roll and spicy crunch tuna.

Went there for the lunch special take out. The sauce ended up all OVER my car because they give you these fllimsy little take out foam containers. Also their food is average at best. They cut corners to save money. They put a watered down duck sauce in a container to go with my egg roll. Who does that? The little packets can’t be that expensive! It was a messy disaster! There are so many other great Chinese place around here.

This is a regular stop for me. I keep going back as the food is good. Sushi is not exceptional but it’s good. The other items from the hot menu are varied and I have sampled a good deal of them. Soups are excellent, Szechuan dumplings are mouth watering, the Thai curries are tasty but a little mild for me. Downside is BYOB, but that is it unusual in this part of PA. Restaurant is clean and comfortable

This is my family’s default sushi restaurant in the area. It’s moderately priced, service is always good and prompt, and it’s never too busy to get a table.

I’m from Chicagoland and consider myself a foodie. We are in town for the Philadelphia outdoor expo and this was recommended from the show manager. All I can say is wow! The rice noodle curry and volcano roll were amazing. The only draw back is that they dont have a liquor license so had no sake. But, we didn’t even notice it after the tea came. I would highly recommend eating here!

Kamita is easily my favorite Asian restaurant. the quality of the food cannot be topped. chicken that actually tastes like chicken, fresh shrimp that isn’t stringy. get the boneless spare ribs app and the sesame beef as an entrée. awesome place, very friendly staff.

Wherever I travel, at any Chinese restaurant, I only order one thing: Mongolian beef. It is my absolute favorite dish. I do not care for Orange chicken(my kids’ favorite), or any other of the very extensive items on their menus. Friends recommended Kamita, and on one of our days off, we decided to go. Do not ask what my wife had. I rarely taste what she orders, and I know that it will always be too much food. The pig of the family that I am, will always have the leftovers that we take home. Kamita’s Mongolian beef is one of the best I’ve had, rivaling in taste only one others’, Wokcano, in West Hollywood, California.

BYOB& Sushi/Asian fusion! Sold! 4 of us went for dinner on a Wednesday night around 7pm. We were seated and greeted right away. Our waiter quickly brought us glasses for the drinks we brought. Wine/Hard cider/Beer/liquor– you can bring any of it! We started with miso soup, tom yum soup and crab rangoons. The miso was standard, decent flavor but I wouldn’t order it again. I like my miso with mushrooms and enough seaweed for each bite. This one was too brothy. The Tom yum had a nice spicy kick but it was mostly broth too. It could have just been their asian fusion style of cooking. I didn’t try the crab rangoons but I didn’t hear a complaint from my friend! He demolished them! Then we each ordered different sushi rolls and a spicy noodle red curry with vegetables and spicy scallop with broccoli to share. They carry gluten free soy sauce! I ordered a sweet potato roll not realizing that it is prepared with tempura(gluten) because it wasn’t listed on the menu. I alerted my waiter and the manager came over to explain how they prepare the roll. She apologized for the confusion & brought me another veggie roll of my choice so I got asparagus. Delicious and very appreciated! The curry was meh– it wasn’t spicy enough for our taste. It was more sweet than savory and it needed a better variety of veggies. Good portion size though, I took the rest home and added my own hot sauce to give it a kick. I wouldn’t order it again but the scallops with broccoli was delicious. Again, great portion size. The menu is huge. A mix of sushi/Chinese/Thai. If I lived in the area, I’d be back to try more of it!

Their food is good but it is NEVER ready on time. So done with this place. 40 minutes is a long time for take out and then to wait even longer because it isn’t ready when you go to get it is ridiculous. Even when dining in my husband and I almost left. We go here simply because it is a hassle to travel into Collegeville with the bridge out. Lesson learned. Never again.

We went to Kamita after taking in a movie at the Oaks Regal. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. We had an eggroll to start and then 2 sushi rolls. The eggroll came out hot and was good. It had good crunch and with some duck sauce it had decent flavor. We then got the rainbow roll and godzilla roll. The godzilla roll was big but I liked it alot. It had spicy sauce on it which gave it a great taste. The rainbow roll was fresh but with no sauce, even with soy the roll was a little bland. Overall Kamita was decent. Everyone in our party liked their sushi and would go there again. For a quick place to grab a roll before or after a movie, its definitely worth checking out.

Really, Kamita? We ordered chicken with broccoli for take-out and it was more like broccoli with chicken. It was seriously 80% broccoli. Do you think customers will not notice? The rest of the dinner items we ordered were just so-so. Come on, Kamita, get your act together. There are plenty of other Asian restaurants around.

You know, I enjoy this place. Nice atmosphere, prices are reasonable. The sushi is very good! Great for sushi and a movie and the theater is right next door.

This way the third try for this place. I just don’t like their food. I had spicy tuna hand roll. It was a purée of tuna with some kind of sauce, white rice and nori. Wrapped like a cone. I couldn’t eat it. The tuna tasted as bad as it looked. Our California roll was warm and had no taste. I had szechuan chicken. It was thin pieces of chicken like it was pulled and string beans in a very mildly spicy brown sauce. With white rice. After a few bites I also threw it out. The place doesn’t smell good when you walk in and the food tastes like the smell. Just bland and it’s all made with some version of their brown sauce. $ 35 worth of food thrown away.

Right next to the center where Kamita Asian Bistro is located is the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. It was there where the 1st Annual Philly Brick Fest was held. We had a lot of fun, but we left there with empty bellies since they didn’t really provide the food that was satisfying enough to last in our bellies until dinner. So, we went to the trusted Unilocal app to look for eateries(we’re not natives to Oaks). We found Kamita Asian Bistro, and we were happy that we did! It’s not like we’ve never been to eateries like Kamita — the suburbs is full of places like it! But what I am constantly a fan of is the ability of the sushi chefs to create clean and composed dishes that are worthy of anyone’s meal. Seriously, maybe they do not get enough appreciation in the suburbs, but I think that they respected the ingredients at Kamita, and that pretty much makes me a fan :-) Plus, gotta love Americanized Chinese food in the mix of the meal! Hehe, thank you, Kamita Asian Bistro, for a wonderful lunch!

Hidden Jewel in the Oaks! I travel a lot on business and was very pleasantly surprised to find Kamita during my stay at the Hampton Inn. The restaurant is within walking distance of the hotel and features sushi as well as Chinese and Thai food. I am a bit of a sushi snob so was apprehensive at first, however I was greeted upon arrival in the sushi bar was very clean and had a lot of options! I tried a few different sushi options and was very happy with all of them ! I was pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant in the Oaks/Pheonixville area and I am happy I will not have to wait for my trip to New York next month to get quality sushi!

Came here before going to the theater with a group of friends. I had my favorite — Moo Shoo(yum), and the pancakes that came with it were thicker and more doughy than I was used it. The skin isn’t as durable and more likely to break — the skin resembled something that of a tortilla that you get in a grocery store. It was an alright dinner but definitely over priced for what they served.
