Okay, I figured one more try. This time I just kept it simple: a large Pepperoni pizza. I called it in and it was ready on time when I arrived. From other reviews, I’ve seen that’s occasionally a problem. The pizza was solid and tasted very similar to Round Table at around the same or slightly higher prices, and of course, Round Table is already pretty expensive. I just can’t really recommend this place to anyone. If you’re a busy parent looking for a break from making dinner and think getting a pizza on the way home is the way to go, the reliability problems make that dubious. If you’re not pressed for time and willing to put up with some headache for a good value pizza, this isn’t it either.

Was ordering from here for the first time. Delivery. I’m very hungry right now but I refuse to pay $ 27 for a medium 3 topping(ham, bacon, pineapple) pizza from a neighborhood pizza joint. I know we’re in the hills but don’t take advantage! Guy was really nice over the phone though! *grabs keys* Headed to Round Table!

Cybelle’s tastes better, but this is pretty good and when I’m craving pizza, this satisfies me. The delivery is always 45 minutes, and the guy is really nice. The young people who answer the phone are also nice, and one time when I went inside to order and wait, the workers were really friendly. I wish they had other things besides pizza and a couple of sandwiches, like pasta, but this pizza does the job. Other pizza places have more vegetarian toppings, but this is the only restaurant for miles around in that hilly area, so you can’t be too choosy. But, it’s actually pretty good.

A step above Domino’s. We had a large vegetarian and a small cheese. The toppings were a nice variety and size, but the crust seemed like little more than d’giorno’s. I wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

I live right down the street from this business in the same exact area code, but because my street is considered east Oakland and not Oakland hills they told me that they could not deliver to my area. I asked for a supervisor and he then told me that they were too busy to delivery to me. I asked him the name of his supervisor he said he would call me back in ten minutes and hung up in my face. Discrimination!

Just tried to call in an order for a garlic chicken pizza because they picture looked pretty good. You run out of chicken and ask me if I want to substitute it and when I say no that’s okay, you hang up in my face. How about you wait for my next order instead of assuming you lost a sale smh. Going somewhere else for my pizza needs.

Unilocal’s 365 Review Challenge 2015 #38 — #365 After doing hours and hours of house and yard work at my sister’s new house in Oakland. We were craving for some pizza, Pizza Hut came to mind since it was my favorite pizza joint but it was 4.5 miles away. Boo! My sister recommended Skyline Pizza so we went with Sky. We ordered a large pizza with a combination of toppings, the person taking the order was quick to take our order and said it would take 15 minutes. The drive took only less than 4 minutes from the road. Inside smelled like freshly baked pizza, I wished I can order some breadsticks but my family just wanted the pizza. Overall the pizza tasted average, not the best and not the worst. Would I go back? Yes I would!

Worst service and food! I came in and the guy was on the phone taking orders. When he got off the phone, I asked how long for the twist bec I didn’t have that much time. He said 10 minutes, but he said order the wings bec that’s the quickest bec it’s already cooked(I had to get to my appointment). I asked how long to make it well done, he said 5 minutes(Ok, I have 5 minutes to spare). So I ordered the wings and I go use the restroom. I came out and he was on the phone again, and I sat down to wait for him to get off the phone, and mind you I see my wings were already out of the oven. Nine minutes had gone by, this guy is still on the phone. I got up to stand in front of him to let him know I’d been waiting, the phone conversation was hardly a business call, more like cupcaking. He was talking low so I couldn’t hear and he kept smiling. I stood there and I realized he wasn’t going to get off the phone anytime soon and he had no plans on putting that person on hold so he can give me my wings. Another customer comes in, this guy is still cupcaking on the phone. I finally flagged the lady in the back to come and give me my wings. She gives me my wings, the customer is in line waiting, the guys finally gets off the phone. The lady gives me my wings, I said thank you and that was it. Not so much as an apology or thank you for being patient from either one of them. When I got to my car, I took a bite out of a wing and it was crunchy like still frozen!!! It was the worst tasting chicken wing I’ve ever had! I threw the rest of the wings away as I did not want to get food poisoning. DONOTEAT/ORDER FROMHERE.

This pizza«joint» does not deserve your business. I’ve had a few issues with them delivering me incorrect pizzas. When I call to notify the manager he is very rude and asked me «what do you want me to do about it!» He doesn’t care that you are not satisfied. The pizza is ok but the customer service sucks!!!

I don’t understand how this place stays in business. We live 2.6 miles away and they can never seem to deliver a hot pizza on time. Every single time I order from there, it is an hour late and cold. This last time it was simultaneously burnt and under cooked(the bottom of the pizza crust was dry and burnt and the middle was soggy. When the pizza got here, the driver argued with me that I must have ordered it later than I thought since he insisted he was on time. My cell phone has a time stamp. I know when it was ordered. Any who, STAYAWAY!!! This place is NOT worth the money.

Odd location, pizza is mediocre, no beer, video games were all turned off. Place was a little messy. All that being said the owner was very friendly. The cheese pizza was better than average. If you are going to the Oakland zoo and want to slam the kids with pizza this is a good spot. I think any of the negative aspects are because of location. It must be hard to make a living up on that hill. It looks like it used to be a Roundtable.

I decided to give this place a try the other night.. . I wish I had just picked up a few frozen pizzas when I was at trader Joe’s earlier that evening. The service is good, the delivery guy was nice. but honestly the pizza wasn’t good. The crust tasted like cardboard and there was too much cheese. The pizza would be good for little kids maybe. The crust was real bad.

I have never been so disappointed and — insulted(!) while ordering for pizza delivery. Tonight, after a long day, I thought I would order local, and something other than a chain. What a mistake! Big Problems: They did not want to deliver to me, even though I am precisely 3.8 miles away When the driver arrived an HOUR later with our one pizza, he complained I was«too far» and told me he was not sure why they approved our order. The«large”-ish pizza was nearly $ 25 for a two topping Hawaiian — inflated delivery fee? As for the pizza itself, the dough was undercooked, and there were mushrooms! I have never had mushrooms on a Hawaiian before… Of course, I wanted a refund… What took the cake was the customer service when I called with my complaints. They told me I would have to bring the pizza back in order to get a refund. When I told them I would instead call my bank, the«manager» hung up on me! #Floored

I love this place! It has good customer service, and it’s very close for me to go to. I came in one time with my friend to do homework, and they brighten the lights so we could see better. Very thoughtful people work here, and this place deserves local support!

Skyline is not my absolute favorite but they do things better than my absolute favorite place, such as their garlic twists. Super good. It’s always a toss up between ordering from them and Red Boy. But Skyline pizza is totally solid.

Skyline pizza is the best delivery place in our area, nicest delivery guy too. They always get us the pizza in less time than they say and the pizza is consistently pretty good(I prefer east coast style pizza so this is as good as it gets around here).

I’ve passed this place at least once a week and I always think«that used to be a round tables» and I’m reminded of the times I got pizza here as a kid and fond times of pizza and games. On a whim, I decided to give this place a shot to see if any nostalgia would come rushing back. It did not. Prep time — I watched my pizza sit on the outside of an oven, ready to go for a good 10 minutes and the entire process took 20 minutes. I had to repeat my order twice after paying, which was annoying. Environment — maybe it was just the time I was there but there were some annoying kids running around. This won’t effect my review since not everyone likes the same environment, but you have been warned. Also, all the video games were off. Why have them out if they’re not on? Value — I ordered a large pizza for 19.50 with taxes. It was a decent size(14 – 15 inches), but I’ve had much cheaper for much more. Taste — this might be the one saving grace. The tomatoes were fresh and cheese was light and not oily. The garlic was faint for a pizza with garlic in the name. I would have liked more sausage, but the pepperoni was flakey and tasty. The crust was a crispy and not burnt. I have a soft spot for family owned joints so I’m giving them three stars.

This pizza place is pretty close to our house. It’s easy for us to get to. The pizza is really good, now that we know exactly what to get. We look forward to ordering pizza here whenever it’s pizza night. We’ve realized that getting delivery isn’t the best option for us. Number one: Like I said, Skyline Pizza is close to our house so it’s just plain lazy if we don’t pick it up ourselves. Number two: embarrassingly enough, we were being lazy one day and called for delivery. It was our first time ordering from Skyline. When we got the pizza the vent holes in the pizza box weren’t pushed through. The pizza was hot and steamy, but it steamed through our crisp crust and made it soggy. When I go to pick up our pizza, I make sure to push in the vent hole flaps to let the pizza steam. We also like buffalo wings and will oftentimes order some but the wings could use some work and be a little less fatty here. Some my gripes take away one star, but overall it’s a pretty good place once you’ve figured out exactly how you want(and how to ask for) your pizza.

I got a coupon in my mailbox yesterday and my wife said she was just tired to cook on Friday night so we gave it a try. Even people are friendly right there and there was a $ 2 off by the coupon, the original price of $ 20 large pizza was not acceptable for us. Since I don’t eat beef and so we just ordered a Garlic Chicken Pizza. I didn’t know it is my tongue or nose problem that I didn’t taste or smell anything with GARLIC favor. The Chicken on the top are the meat with no favor except«Frozen» smell in freezer. Even we did wait 20 mins but the Pizza itself taste like hadn’t baked long enough and it was still wet at the bottom… For me, I think Sklyline Pizza is worth 2 stars because it tastes better than frozen pizza. This place can still open since it is open for the people who just live nearby and don’t want to cook at night. My verdict is just spend the $ 20 to get a Costco pizza + chicken bake + a hot dog with coke + change instead.
