Came here on a Sunday afternoon in the Summer to celebrate a birthday. We were a latge part Food was amazing, Micheladas were huge and the Mariachi was great. Waitress was very capable and responsive. Went again this past Sunday and while it was a bit slow at times l was equally impressed. We were there from about 1:30 — 4:30 we had two Micheladas, Queso Fundido with chorizo and chips and salsa. The Micheladas(they only have one size and they are huge) will set you back $ 8. Because we were there for four hours there were times we were the only two people there. A couple families dined there as well as groups of friends and solo diners. Most tables had Micheladas and the food portions are very generous. Las Adelitas is a true neighborhood gem.

We go every Wednesday for their $ 1 taco specials. We are rarely disappointed. They start everyone with chips and a delicious salsa. The tacos can vary week to week, but usually the chicken and veggie tacos are a safe bet.

This place is consistently great from week to week. I eat their $ 1 tacos here every Wednesday and they never disappoint. They offer a good variety(Asada, Lengua, Carnitas, Pollo, Tripas, and Cabeza) of tacos and they use the freshest ingredients. Also, they are always filling and cooked to perfection.

So many tacos! Yes, it’s my taco Wednesday. Go for the barbacoa and though it’s not $ 1, it’s so much more worth it to have that than anything else! PS margaritas are non-alcoholic here.

I only came here for a hangover breakfast, so I can’t comment on the rest of the menu but my huevos rancheros were ruling! Friendly service, extremely reasonable prices, great food. I’ll be back.

Waitress is rude cannot talk to customers in a nice manner. My husband ordered food and I went to pick it up. I wasn’t sure which one was my order so she responded very rudely that she was too busy to waste time with me if I didn’t know what my order was. She told me three times that she had too many orders to worry about. When I found out from husband what my order was she answered in a really bad manner«that order was made 15 min ago and I told you 50 min. So you have to wait» and she walked away. That’s enough go me not to come here again.

I went here in hopes of it being good since they had good reviews. Major disappointment. They have a happy hour sign out front so we thought we would try a margarita. The waitress tells us the flavors but then explains that these have 20% alcohol but not 40% because they don’t have a liquor license, then what kind of alcohol are they putting in there? We decline and appreciate her taking that time to explain to us. She insists we try one and brings one on the house, that was very kind. No bueno! I’m not sure what was in it but it tasted odd so we didn’t drink it. But again, that was very nice of her. What we ordered: 2 bean and cheese burritos, 1 regular burrito(includes sour cream and any meat of choice, ordered the barbacoa) and enchilada/taco combo plate. I emphasized that the kids wanted bean and cheese ONLY burritos. What we received: 2 regular beef burritos, 1 barbacoa burrito and the combo plate. I tell our waitress, we did not order the two beef burritos but ordered bean and cheese, she says«what? there is no sour cream?» I clarify. She then states oh, I will tell them in the back. Not offering to correct the order, I tell her never mind the kids can pick at this. Barbacoa burrito — no sour cream, I tell her this and she says«oh, there is no sour cream on that burrito because it’s a wet meat, only dry meat burritos get sour cream». I don’t know what a «dry meat» burrito is. I show her on the menu it doesn’t state that. «oh yeah». Check time! Charges me for the meat burritos that I did not order, charges me $ 1 extra for the meat we chose(even though this was listed as a choice). I discuss this with her and again show her on the menu that no where does it state that. After discussion she fixes the charges on the kids burritos but does not correct the charges for the barbacoa burrito. I’m too frustrated to continue the disagreement pay my check and go. Food– Bland and the beans taste canned. Sorry, but I would never go back! The only reason why I gave them two stars is because of the first waitress being so courteous.

I love this place! Every Wednesday my family and I go and grab a couple of tacos I specially love the carnita tacos but the carne asada are great too, not only are they delicious but they are only $ 1 a piece on Wednesday. They have this deal where on Wednesdays tacos are a dollar I think for a restaurant this is a deal. What I also enjoy about this place is that the owner is very hands on and courteous. Ive never actually been to Karaōke Fridays Nights but I heard its pretty fun. Cheers!!!

FIve stars for the succulent grilled chicken. Their special includes several pieces of nicely flavored chicken, a side of beans and rice, and a salad, for $ 7.50. Tortillas are made there and they are fine. We happened upon the mariachi band(i only ever had the juke box for entertainment before). Be careful if you are a couple; you might get serenaded, and having those horns pointed at you might blast you out of your seats. But it was lovely and fun, and the owner was persuaded to sing a couple of ballads and she has a beautiful voice! If i had gone there with a seafood lover, I would have loved to try the authentic looking seafood dishes. The waitress told us to try the pork ribs and I certainly will, next time. Since I have to pass this place on the way back from work, I expect I’ll become more of a regular… Near 42nd and Foothill. The signs on the outside of the place are leftovers… Los Petates is one of the older names!

Me and a friend decided to hit this place up one night. The area where the place is located is a little shady(especially at night), but the warm and friendly vibe inside of the place really makes up for it. I ordered a carne asada burrito… which was HUGE. And it was SOYUM. AND… it only costed like $ 5.00. They had live«ethnic» music the night that I went. There were a group of people just chillen, throwing back a few beers, and singing their little hearts out. The food and the music made me feel proud of my heritage, lol. :) I am definintely going back soon. :)

Consistent delicious food served here every damn day. Adelitas never fails when it comes to making«MMMMM’s» come out your mouth. The prices are far beyond reasonable, especially for the quality and quantity of the food on your plate. Plenty of space to sit down and relax in between the bright yellow and orange walls with plenty of pics from the revolucion. Music always soundtracking your great Mexican food experience, and did I mention the Mexican mariscos served here is the best in the bay. Yes I said it the best, because they are especially when it comes to specialty items. I had the Parrillada de Mariscos since this is my favorite dish by far when enjoying mariscos. They grill the seafood over mesquite wood chips and the dish is overflowing with crab legs, oysters, clams, mussels, tilapia, shrimp, octopus, and scallops. Marinated, grilled, and served for everything above perfection. My lady ordered Molcajete de Mariscos which is a very rare specialty item that most restaurants don’t make or if they do it’s never an authentic version. Her steaming hot Molcajete came with mussels, shrimp, scallops, clams, potatoes and carrots creating a beautiful stew like meal all in a Molcajete. My lady was beyond impressed and very happy to be able to have a very traditional plate that was made perfectly. I really have to agree with her the Molcajete de Mariscos was a definite delight. 2 Micheladas seasoned and limed up for perfection. I just can’t be more pleased with any restaurant then I am am with them. My total bill for all that seafood and micheladas was under $ 60 and that included tip. Give this spot a try and don’t go for tacos or burritos try one of there specialty plates, you will be amazed for days.

Yuuuup! Miss.Eryka introduced me to this spot. Walked in and felt like family… hugs all around. Music going… how bad could this be??? My sign of a good mexican spot is by their tacos. let me have 4, no al pastor… wasn’t too mad, was just gonna try Eryka said it was good. Ni biggie carne asada all around. Oh one thing… no verde salsa!!! Ummmm where they do that at!!! That’s like a mexican spot not having tortilla chips… it didn’t take away from the tacos. They were great! I told Eryka I’ve passed by this spot many, many, years but never stopped. Now that I know I’ll keep this spot in rotation too! :) Thanks Eryka!
