Everytime we come to Oakland we end up stopping in here for breakfast. Always quick service with decent priced food. Would recommend anyone looking for a cheap breakfast that taste great, come in! Also if you have lunch before a game, drink up here as it’s cheaper than beer at the coliseum.

Good place to watch games and get some drinks. They are located very close to colisum, and next to our hotel. So everything worked quite well

First time coming here. Service was awesome. Food came out pretty fast. I’m sure that it will be one of the more popular go to spots when they get a full bar. Seems to be run by three guys who seem pretty nice

Nice new clean restaurant in a place you would not expect this little gem. Hope more new business move in. Great that the location is not far from work which is an area where it is adventure to leave the property. Been here once before for breakfast, and this time for lunch. Menu is your classic/basic dinner menu. Be good to see them offer chef specials to spice up the choices. The food has been good along with the food. Most likely return when in the area. Thank you for looking good in the neighborhood.

Great ambiance, good service, fresh food and good portion size. What more can we ask for!!! I ordered chicken tenders and house chips. it was yummy. I also got eggs, hashbrown, bacon and toast. It was all fresh. Would recommend and come back when I am in area. Very close to oakland airport.

Unilocal is my food bible and for the most part I agree with a lot of the reviews, but this time I’m really confused… This restaurant is no where close to 4 stars for me. The service is great. I came here with a big group and seating was easy. Partially, I think because the restaurant was pretty empty. I ordered the biscuits with gravy, eggs, and hashbrowns and was really disappointed. The food tasted really cheap to me. It felt like they had taken the food out of a Costco pack and microwaved it. There are other restaurants with the same prices but the quality of food is a lot better.

Great to go to after attending an event at the coliseum! I had to coordinate 7 different family members after attending Disney on Ice. Uhhh family and the myriad of food — money issues! They have beer and wine(save your $ at the park and drink here) Modern, clean, inexpensive and great menu. They serve breakfast until 2pm. I had the tuna melt with onion rings. I ordered a «side» salad that was $ 2.99 and it was huge. Staff was friendly Will definitely come back when in the area.

The Staff was extremely friendly and Hospitable. The door is surprising fresh and delicious. The interior was new, contemporary and a nice surprise as it is nicer than the Hotel in which its attached to. The prices are a bit high however you can tell the ingredients were fresh and made from scratch so that could be why. In my opinion it’s one of the best options in the area.

Good food, decent prices, nice people and a great manager who really cares. Is a raider bar on Sunday’s so beware during home games, it gets fun and rowdy! Quiet place during the week. Great place to go on the way to or from OAK.

Randomly good diner by Days Hotel. I had chicken fried steak and it was very good, gravy was tasty, over medium eggs cooked right, and even the hash browns were better than usual — nice and crispy. Service was good and fast. Perfect spot for a quick breakfast in the area.

Ok… WOW…regardless the current rating, I had my doubts… after all, the area seems a bit sketchy and it is with a hotel. But dinner tonight was amazing and simple. Any downers need to stick with jack in the box across the street… My dinner. Chicken fried steak and a couple IPAs I chose rice over potatoes, the pilaf was perfect. The veggies tonight was broccoli and it was simply amazing… they added a touch of garlic and for me that sent it to a whole new level. Now to the gravy on the CFS… easily one of the best country graves I’ve ever had. I’ll add it to my list! A short walk or quick drive from the other hotels in the area, I highly recommend having dinner and a brew here.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to get a decent meal within walking distance from my hotel, but I was wrong. This diner is attached to the Days Inn and has great service and pretty good pub food as well as a bar. They serve breakfast until 2pm, but the sandwiches & burgers make up for the menu after that. Try the pastrami burger with fries. Totally worth it.

Quirky hotel restaurant that serves solid old-school diner food at typical prices, for anywhere but here. This could be a diner anywhere in the U.S. Totally made this MN-girl at heart’s day. The biscuits and gravy were the real deal.

If it wasn’t for Unilocal,I would never have found this place. I just dropped hubby at OAK and needed a place to kill time until morning Bay Bridge traffic thinned out. I had a huge omelet with feta, sausage and spinach. Sides included a big pile o’ fresh hashbrowns and sourdough toast. It was very tasty. The server was kind enough to refill my coffee like 10+ times while I worked on my laptop and ate my breakfast. Free WiFi — ask the server for the code. The restaurant is attached to the Days Inn Hotel. Customers were a mix of tourists and locals(you could tell us locals because we were eating alone and typing away on laptops.) At the end, the owner/manager(?) came over to ask me what I thought. Very sweet man.

I was hungry and I felt like good old fashioned Comfort food. So I checked my Unilocal App and JRD popped up. So I Rolled my Whip White Rabbit to JRD. JRD has their own Parking lot this is where I parked my Whip. I rolled in and grabbed a seat at the Counter and my Waitress was a very Cute and Friendly Latina. She presented me with a Menu and took my Drink Order. I perused my Menu and when my Waitress brought my Coke back. I Ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, Hash browns, 2 Eggs Sunnyside Up and Wheat Toast. JRD has been freshly remodeled and is very Clean. There are LCD TVs for Entertainment They also have a nice Outside Deck. My Food came out in 15 Minutes, The Chicken Fried Steak was nice and Savory. The Hash Browns were nice and Crispy. The Eggs were perfectly Cooked. I enjoyed my Meal. My Waitress was very Entertaining. I paid by Discover Card and Rolled out.

About time.. . a new hot spot in Oakland! I checked out this place yesterday after the A’s game and I was really impressed. The inside is really spacious and everything looks shiny and new. When we first entered the diner we were greeted by a couple different employees, which was awesome. It was kind of empty so I was a little sketch about eating there, but later I found out why. Since the diner is new they haven’t finalized their hard liquor Ls, they have wine and beer only. The menu has typical American food, but they’re missing a few favorites! I was really craving a BLT after a full day of drinking, but they didn’t have it on the menu. When I asked my waitress about this she said they can make it for me without it being 1,000 $. Haha and when I received my bill it was only 7.95 with french fries, not bad at all! They don’t have Blue Moon, but they have Shocktop on tap. They also have 2 $ mimosas which are pretty strong
