Spent 30 minutes there tonight waiting for tow truck. Tacos so, so, milkshakes good. Dirty! Employees standing around talking while most tables dirty and garbage all around.

This Jack in the box is a high volume location due to its proximity next to the Oracle Arena. However it’s employees are not trained well enough to meet the customers orders accurately and in a timely manner. The dine in area is NOT maintain, nor the parking lot and or restroom. This location also needs security to ward off the panhandling that occurs in the parking lot and drive-thru areas. The only positive thing, is the food is reasonably priced and good for fast food.

It took for 2 tacos. You can tell the manager was trying but I couldn’t tell anyone else was.

What is going on with this jack in the box? Every single time I come here the line is crazy long and it takes forever. I mean the line is about 10 cars long but takes longer than a packed In n Out drive thru. One thing I can’t complain about tho is my food, they never get the order wrong. But with it taking that long it nothing should be wrong

Worst JB Ive ever seen wait time extremely long. The girl at the drive thru line double charged me and had a hellva time trying to fix it .I ordered their new mushroom burger and fries .I got the bag it must have been sitting in grease. Burger was thrown together .They just dont give a damn. Never go there again.

The drive thru always takes a long time, even when there’s only one or two cars ahead of me. My food is frequently lukewarm by the time I finally get to the pick-up window and there’s often something wrong with my order, but not big enough to wait longer. Also, there’s almost always at least one panhandler hanging out at the drive thru. I don’t know why a 24-hour restaurant in this area doesn’t have a night security guard. If you really want Jack ‘n the Box, or you want to go to a place that’s open 24 hours and has a drive thru, there’s another one on Park Street in Alameda that is much better.

Homeless hang out. If you love getting stared at by beggers at each pickup window then you will have no problem with this place! Enjoy dodging crazy people.

So to all you Unilocalers out there First and foremost — the drive thru line wait time has nothing to do with customer service. It has everything to do with poor job training and/or poor teamwork I only had 1 car in front of me and it did take more time than average BUT the customer service was excellent. Best I’ve had at any jack and the food was better than most locations I’ve been too. So — 5 stars for the customer service because with a chain fast food restaurant that’s what truly sets them apart.

Price and convenience play a big part of our pregame meals. Commuting from San Francisco after work for most Warrior games, we ponder our dining options mostly while in the City, but sometimes time doesn’t allow us this option. There is a relatively large variety of fast food choices on or around Hegenberger Road. Our go-to has been In & Out, but their menu doesn’t give many choices. What Jack offers is a build your own tasting menu where you can jump from rice bowls to breakfast meals to chicken sandwiches to tacos at a blink of an eye. My ‘usual’ is a spicy chicken sandwich, curly fries, and tacos with a fountain drink; this totals less than $ 10.00, a bargain considering my water or soda alone is $ 5.00 or $ 6.00 in the arena. Since we usually visit more than an hour before tipoff, the lines are relatively short. The drawbacks are that you might meet a parking lot panhandler and exiting said lot can be challenging with cars zooming up Hegenberger off the freeway;balso, coming on a recent Lent Friday, I couldn’t find anything on the menu so we ended up at the golden arch place. As you get closer to game time, you’ll see plenty of blue or yellow shirts, showing the Warrior pride. Yes, it’s in our pregame rotation and, hey, it works! Oh, and GO Warriors!

Jack in the Box has a very inventive menu. new names with the same ingredients. eats: crunchy sliders(1) –beef and chicken –basically frito chips, cheese, meat pieces, jalepeno –wrapped like a pin cushion at least it’s filling 2.5 stars take outs: –service ok –most menu items overpriced, even the $ 1 ones.

This place is hit or miss. Sometimes you’ll be waiting for 30 minutes in the drive through which is absurd. The waiters are friendly enough and the food is standard Jack in the Box food.

I never post reviews, but this one has been on my list for over a month now, it was that bad. I cannot remember ever having such a horrible experience. Ignored for 15 minutes while they walked right by our faces and didn’t bother mentioning there was a kiosk. Yelling at each other and whining about customers coming in after 9 because they forgot to close the dining area, and then turning them away. 30 minutes later when we got our food they were annoyed when we asked for condiments and had to wait another 10 minutes to get a sandwich they shorted us. Food was terrible(compared to other JOB, not high expectations or anything). When we left, we realized why people kept arguing with them at the door. The drive thru was randomly closed down without warning or reason. At 9:00. And I’m assuming location and late-night drive thru hours are the only thing keeping this place going. I felt like a major inconvenience and the entire experience was horribly uncomfortable and aggravating. If my 5 year old daughter was not with us and starving after a long day of air travel, I would have left. I was so angry, some people really deserve to be fired, I am disgusted at how many good people are struggling to find work and these people still have jobs.

If you want slow food instead of fast food this is your place. I can’t believe how slow the drive-thru is and they always get my order wrong. Be prepared to be haggled for money while waiting in a line you can’t get out of too.

I have stopped by here a couple of times on the way to a Warriors game. Try and fill up on calories so I can avoid getting over priced stadium food which I still end up getting. Their jalapeño poppers are my go to item.

This place owes me a few stars. Absolutely does not get any worse than this. How can it. I thought my spicy chicken was a burger it was so dark. «No cheese» does not mean double it up to two slices. The clientele is on par with the establishment.

One star is being generous. Our first visit ever to a Jack in the Box restaurant. Large seating area was empty when we entered, and that should have been a hint to me. I ordered the Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger which arrived with a puddle of grease in the bottom of the box. In spite of all the grease, it had even less taste than a McDonald’s ‘gut bomb’, which I would have thought impossible. The fries were soggy. My wife ordered the Sourdough Jack burger which she rated as mediocre. An experiment in trying a new restaurant, but definitely the last time we’ll venture into a JIB restaurant.

sketchy mc sketchersons! followed by determined homeless man to ask for money. pretty slow. BUT I got an extra chicken nugget in my order on accident, so… that might be worth a trip back! :)
