Denny’s

Thank you Denny’s and Dorothea for a great Denny’s experience. Food was good. Service was great. Coffee was hot! Will be back again if in the area…

They are open 24 hours which is a good thing. However they don’t have alot of chicken entires.

Normally a 4 star experience, I came in to have breakfast with my son, the waitress was very rude and rushed us the entire time we were there. It is going to be awhile before I come back, if I ever do.

If there is a 0 star I would give it to this Dennis restaurant, first thing once we got there was a lot of empty seats but this Asian front cashier is so rude, she told me to wait standing while she deal her business wid some idiot customer asking for 15% discount… I waited for more than 15mints for nothing… N I c a lot employees looking at us n seeing empty seats nobody asked us to seat… Worst customer service ever in Dennis

This place sucks!!! When my little family and I arrived inside we got seated quick, now when we got seated we were told that someone will come to take our order… the waiting began… We waited a good 5 – 10 minutes and when my husband asked one of the waitress that we are ready to order we were told someone will come. That NEVER had happened!!! None of the waitress never acknowledged us or asked us if we wanted something to drinks or at least let us know that they will be with us shortly, none of that and mind you it was not busy or pack!!! So we got up and left!!!

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Staff was extremely slow and unpleasant. Waited over 30 mins to be served.

Late night rush we came and place was understaffed.
Didn’t get order til 25 long min later. The restau mgr was apologetic as servers were all backed up.
Appreciate the gestures of our server /​mgr to bring our coffee and beverages shortly but didn’t give silverware when foods arrived
Good things the veggie omelet was decent and fluffier than other location.

Not a safe place to park your car there at night! Too many break in reported. I caught a would-​be in time. They took off in a black sport car. They saw me that I was staring at them. They took off as I was about to walk out of Denny’s.

Ok so the service was awesome. My server was great BUT the food wasnt that great and they need to replace their dishes and silverware. My coffee mug had scratches from the apparent years of wear and tear and my fork was bent. My first cup of coffee had a gnat in it. Yuck. Anyway i wouldnt come back again the next time I come to Oakland.

DON’T PARK IN THE PARKING LOT!!! My car was broken into as we were walking out… I saw it happen and they sped off right in front of me as I was holding my baby and toddler! Later, we notice that there is glass all over the lot like this happens all the time. I’m also very suspicious of the guy who came out with the manager to sweep it up! He sure did have a lot of «information» about how things like this happen… and then later we saw him waving and giving a «thumbs up» to some random guy in the next parking lot. Just doesn’t sit well with me. When the manager watched the surveillance, she said the burglars came straight for my car… which leads me to believe they are familiar with this parking lot and stealing here. The food was ok, but before it was even digested, I had a broken car window, things stolen, and my day was ruined. NOT WORTH IT!

They have tolerated me for 2 hours … and the grand slam was awesome. thank you for letting me linger and await my ride out of the cold 5 stars !

This place is awful. Slow service. Food ok but not worth the wait. Just stopped there from the car rental company I wish we would of kept going.

We were greeted at the door by the friendly host, but it was down hill from there. Our waitress never came to the table so they sent a trainee to take our order. My hasbriwns were burnt so I asked for French fries. They had so much SALT on them. It was ridiculous. I WILL NOT BE BACK.

Slow service for a place that wasn’t even full! When they served my food it looked pre cooked and they just threw the cinnamon and cream on my cinnamon pancakes, it was just blobbed on there my son didn’t even want to eat his food. Then I got my coffee at the end of my meal instead of before. Will not go there again.

The staff was friendly. The food was great. My grandsons split a T Bone. My wife had chicken fried steak. I had Talapia. All were enjoyed. My grandkids enjoyed a giant Sundae as all of us joined in. The manager hostess was very personable. We exchanged grandparent stories about giving sweets to our grandkids behind their parents backs. Good clean establishment. Would recommend it

Ok service near weird area possible what out of towers perceive as «the ghetto» food is ok

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! I just walked out of this location without eating after I waited 45 min on my food. I was sitting where I could see the kitchen. I guess the cooks were plating the orders wrong. I was horrified to see several of the waitresses moving food around on people’s plates with their non gloved hands. Talk about disgusting. That’s when I decided to leave

They getting 1 star cuz i couldn’t out no stars. How do u run out if milk are u serious? They say its because they remodeling… but i dont know all bad

I like this Denny’s location because they are fairly quick with their service, cheap in price, and open 24hrs, what I don’t like is the overall quality of their food. Like I mentioned before, the food is cheap in price here, which is probably why the bacon is so transparent, the gravy is always watered down, and the hash browns are flavorless. It’s not all bad here though, I have to give credit to their diner style pancakes; their flavor is good, their size is decent and they are kinda hard to compare with other diners around; considering that not many people offer the option of all you can eat :)

This is more of «Ghetto» Denny’s than a regular Denny’s. Beware of when you go, or just go to a different one.
