The fresh beef stew soup was delicious. Spicy with meltingly tender beef. Yes the place has funky décor 4 TVs and in a sketchy area(don’t go after 3) but this is homemade goodness served with friendliness.

A new impressive Vietnamese soup restaurant. The family which runs it is wonderful and the atmosphere is both culturally Vietnamese(in the modern era –with Vietnamese karaōke and the latest sports on ESPN) and an interestingly darkly lit lounge for dancing, disco lasers and all. Soups change daily but their focus on detail is incredible and soups were authentic and operatic. You must try this place!

I wish I can put 6. Café that serves phở. Service is very fast, but gets busy in the morning at night. Will come back.

Very good food, somewhat strange décor. Went three times to try the different daily specials. Ate: Fish ball noodle soup /Bun cha ca(I think this was the Vietnamese…) –Amazingly good broth! Had a lot of dill in it, which I’ve never seen in noodle soups in the area. Probably the best non-phở bo soup I’ve had in Eastlake! Spicy beef soup /Bun bo hue –Just tasted this, but it was really good; the broth was really rich. Chicken phở /Phở ga –Good, but there are better options in the area that specialize in this(e.g. Wing Wah Phở Ga) Bun moc(pork + mushroom soup) –Soup was bland but not bad, and the various meatballs were good. Service is friendly and attentive. Just opened and not many customers, but the food is really good, so hopefully it’ll be discovered.
