I should add, they rarely seem to be open. The food is great when you get in, but chances are it’ll be closed.

This place is SO GOOD! Menu is on the wall to the right when you walk in, only about 3 – 5 items but less is more sometimes ;)
I ordered the shaking beef and it was just like how my mom makes it. Tender sautéed cubed beef with onions and fresh tomatoes, hot steamy rice, and a soy sauce chili sauce for dipping. I’m craving this as we speak. Will be back for sure! Can’t wait to try the other items. Love the prices also.

Anh Phuong Restaurant is a rare vietnamese eatery that doesn’t serve phở. place is clean but watch your step as u enter. floor entrance isn’t level. both sides are a few inches higher than the main pathway.
no hostess/​cashier present. had to look for a menu. it’s in vietnamese. a patron recommended «shaking beef». stewed beef soup was out.
eat: «shaking beef» (8)
–tender slices of marinated beef with tomatos and onions, large scoop of rice
very tasty with slight chile taste. some sodium aftertaste from «sauce» or beef, not sure.
total $ 10, rice extra, i guess
