Did you know you can order your items directly from this store and have it delivered to you? I mean I love me some on-line shopping, but it’s still nice to have that option to speak with someone directly, especially when their customer service skills are so high. I was INLOVE with a bracelet that Ithought for sure would not be available by the time I was able to shop in store. So I called the store to see if they could put it on hold for me and the clerk I spoke to said yes, they have it and instead of putting it on hold, would I like to purchase it and have it shipped? Yes and Yes. My package arrived on time and neatly wrapped(Kate Spade boxes are all so pretty) and with a hand-written noted from the gal who was helped me. Handwritten note! I have also visited the store and have found the clerks to be helpful and super nice. They know their products well. It’s nice to talk to folks who get as excited about the colors, textures, linings as I do.

Went in last night to look around. I was the only person in the store and there were 3 employees at the cash working on something. Not one person said anything to me, not even hello, the entire 10 minutes I was in the store. The store is small so they definitely knew I was there. I refuse to buy anything from a place that does not acknowledge my presence so even though I saw some things I was interested in, I left empty handed.

A very cute store. I love how everything is so organized. The employees are very courteous, but boy, oh, boy are they pushy. I walk into the store and they approach you like hungry wolves. I couldn’t browse in peace since the employee kept showing me everything. It would be nice if they allow the customers to browse on their own and not have employees give you a story of each item. I wanted to stay longer, but it almost seems like they drive you away. Please don’t do that to the customers. :)

I love the bright, cheery colors that outfit the Kate Spade store. I’ve visited the outlet in Aurora several times, which is one of my favorite shops in the entire mall. When I saw a Kate Spade retail shop in Oak Brook, I had to venture inside, albeit cautiously, since my wallet is very thin at the moment. The shop is mostly stocked with Kate Spade’s signature handbags, with a nice variety of accessories as well. There were a few clothing items and shoes, but the focus is definitely on accessories. I spied the perfect pair of cat’s eye sunglasses, but left the store without them. I had to think about it first, considering I came to the mall on a mission to find my mother-in-law a birthday gift. After going to a few other shops, I went back and purchased the sunglasses. I waved it off as, «I just got a raise! I’m worth it!» And well, let’s face it, I am! The girls working here are very friendly and down to earth, so don’t be afraid to stop in. It’s not another frou-frou, shee-shee kind of shop. The pricetags can be steep depending on your budget, but if you’re familiar with Kate Spade then you won’t get that kind of sticker shock. I’d still rather go to their outlet store, because they seem to have *almost* the same merchandise(past seasons), but at a lower price. I’d probably only come back here if I had my heart set on something from the current season. But I love Kate Spade stuff so much that the outlet store never disappoints.
