Consistent fast & fresh food. Love the Gyro and Philly Cheesesteak Pitas! I’ve never had any issues with the girls at the window, they have always been friendly and given me the correct items!(We use the drive-thru)

BUYERBEWARE… I gave a one star because wont let me give a ZERO. We made a to go order today… what a mistake. When meal got home we found over half of a $ 48.00 order wasn’t even close to what was ordered. Balance of meal was not even prepared to the standard menu items listed much less what we ordered. We called Pita Pit to let them know and they wont/don’t answer the phone because their message machine was full and won’t take messages. Now I know why because must be clogged up with other people’s wrong orders like ours. Nice business practice.

I wish my experience was better, because the food selection here is more nutritious than other Oak Harbor fast food joints, but we were treated poorly. I accidentally bypassed drive-through microphone and order taker was miffed and said so. Icy treatment for an expensive(but ok) Pita. My money will be spent where little mistakes are overlooked and customers are appreciated.

Best fast food option in the area, imo. 4 days out of the week they have something on the menu for 4.99. Healthy and delicious.

My husband went to go get a falafel salad for our daughter and was given a hard time about requesting that the portion of the grill that it was heated up on be cleaned since our daughter has an issue with gluten. It wasn’t a problem at another location so if it becomes a problem again we won’t be back to this one.

An American take on the gyros, Subway style, except It’s way over priced., and i bit into something moldy in my sandwich, but couldn’t find anything. Ordered a kids sandwich for my daughter, and it didn’t come with anything(chips or drink), and then when she wanted more than one veg on it and they told her only one. (She’s 8 by the way, and wants vegetables) My 12 year old got a quesa pita, which is just a pita with cheese, and a smothie. We spent over 40 bucks for the 4 of us, 2 adults, 2 kids, and the lady behind the counter just HAD to tell me for future reference, pickles for my 8 year olds sandwich would be 25 cents. No worries lady, there won’t be a future for Pita Pit for me and my family.

Seriously unsound management… Sat in the drive thru and heard the woman screaming at an employee… Unsatisfactory. Kinda turned my stomach really. I don’t eat this food, I order it for my daughters… So I couldn’t tell you what the quality is. I can tell you that I have been denied extra condiments and veggies. Won’t order from them again though, not after hearing the manager flip out on the employees that. She needs medication. And a straight jacket.

This has to be my favorite«fast casual» restraunt. they prepare food right in front of you kind of like subway, which is a huge plus! It always tastes fresh and the restraunt is very clean. I love this place!

This is a 4.5! We got the chicken breast pita and the prime rib pita. Good customer service, great flavor, great topping choices! The chicken was tender and cooked perfectly. It could have used a little more seasoning but I’m thinking they keep it mellow so it’s more a platform for the sauces. We didn’t get a sauce(but we’ll go for the tzatsiki(sp?) sauce next time — thanks for the suggestion, Barbara!). Our boys LOVED their pita and this is a great opportunity to eat in a way that supports a healthier lifestyle. We will sooooooo be back! :-)

I like getting the black bean pita when we do come here… they are wonderful gals here for the most part we usually get our food fast. It is an illusion of health here I really wish they would go with GMO free options and maybe organic… get it through your head folks… eating at pita pit is no different than Taco bell. GMOCENTRAL… fast food will always be fast food!

was eating here weekly. the food is good, almost like a subway only on a pita and more choices to but on your pita. staff is sometimes a little spacy but that doesnt really matter if the food is good. nice healthy choice. if the owner happens to be there you wont get as much meat in your pita.

I honestly dont know why people talk so highly of this place. Maybe the one time I have been there I just had bad luck, but putting myself through that experience again its not worth wanting to be proved wrong. I ordered the chicken caesar pita, with no tomatoes. The guy with me ordered something that he said ‘Wasnt even memorable to remember what he had’ It took 20 minutes to get my food, and I was a little concerned the fact they cooked all their food on the same surface and didn’t even clean it off after. So when I tried my pita it was mixed with so many different flavors as well as ingredients showed up that weren’t even supposed to be in my pita, such as TOMATOES, onions, beef, burnt flakes of something and something chewy that I have no idea what it was. My pita was sloppily thrown together, which I usually dont mind but the pita bread was ripped apart and the dressing

my pita was okay but not what they used to be, they no longer carry sprouts which was disappointing but i got over it once the explained the health reasons. i always order the chicken crave, this time the meat seemed small and usually the cheese was melted with the meat on the girl. i had just rock hard piece of provolone that really didn’t do it for me. i used to always look forward to stopping by here every time i drove through. i think i will just keep drive through now.

Pleasantly surprised with this place. Their pitas are pretty healthy and nicely priced. They offer daily specials and a military discount. If you’re in a hurry and want a quick pita fix, this will do it.

Worst. Experience. Ever. The manager(wish I would have got her name) was extremely rude. She never once asked what I had wanted in my pita. So when she started throwing random things in there I asked if we got to choose our own toppings. She replied«yes». Without any questions she turns around and annoyingly throws it in the garbage. Second time a charm, NOT. She accidentally put beef instead of chicken inside my pita, no big deal… I told her it was fine and to just take one out and replace with the other. No… she once AGAIN throws it away more annoyed than the 1st time. 3rd time finally got it right. I must say, if you hate your job so badly find a new one!!! Will never be returning. Horrible customer service.

I have seen this place many times and thought; «I really oughta try that place». So today I did. Very nice. I had the Chicken Souvlaki Pita, and made it my own. As previously mentioned it’s pretty«Subway-esque» with the basic order and a host of options hidden behind a sneeze guard. I will say that the bins are full of what appears to be(and tastes like) fresh veggies, and condiments. I was expecting: M’eh, so so food. I got: a decent meal for $ 6 and some change. Service was prompt, and polite. It didnt seem initially that the crew was working together very well, but my opinion changed as I watched them. They did a good job, and worked together pretty well. Wrapping it up. HA! Pita Pit! «WRAPPING» it up! Ha! I kill me… AAAnyway. it’s pretty darn good, fresh food, and the place is clean and orderly. I will definitely go back.

I’d never heard of the Pita Pit before I moved to Oak Harbor. Apparently this is a chain, though, with restaurants sprinkled throughout the United States, Canada and Great Britain. The concept is very similar to any sub sandwich shop like Subway or Quiznos. The only real difference is that they use pita bread. My first pita here was a BLT with avocado. It was delicious. They have a large variety of vegetables you can add to your pita and also several cheeses and sauces to choose from. Everything used here is fresh and crisp. My second pita was a chicken ceasar and it was equally delectable. There are also several vegetarian options on the menu for those that don’t eat meat. Additionally, they can make any pita into a salad simply by removing the bread(genius, I know). So if you’re going carb free you can still partake of their fresh ingredient goodness. Pricing is decent and under $ 10 for a combo meal. Pita size is large and should fill up most diners. My only complaint is that the staff can sometimes be so thorough that it becomes annoying. When ordering the chicken caesar pita I was asked if I wanted lettuce(duh) and caesar dressing(c’mon now, really?). Other than that mild issue the service is fantastic and everyone is always friendly and smiling. The Pita Pit is definitely a new favorite of mine and I will be visiting frequently.

This is a chain, but you’re not going to find all that many of them. Fast food that is still healthy and fresh and a hell of a lot more tasty than Subway. Many, many low-fat and vegetarian options. Consistently good.
