It is a renovated hotel, the lobby is very nice. Although it is a very old hotel and when we checked in our room was very dirty. It seemed like they only change the sheets in that room. There was garbage and candy on the floors and there was a broken piece of glass on the floor as well. The sleep-number beds were very uncomfortable and I probably slept 2 hours that night. DONOTSTAYHERE!

The only reason i even rated 1 star is because the room didn’t leak when it rained. They advertise and do have a restaurant, bar, pool and exercise area however the restaurant and bar are not in operation and the pool is apparently also never open and because the exercise area is near the pool they will not allow anyone in there either. Needless to say i will not stay here again.

It was marginal. The bed was small and hard, and the room smelled… strange. I needed a park and fly so I went for it but they actually contract out their shuttle. Didn’t make a difference flying out but coming back when I just wanted to get home, I had to find a shuttle kiosk and then pay for them to take me back to the hotel. I did get reimbursed from the front desk but it was several extra steps for someone who just wanted to get home. Also the«breakfast» wasn’t even out at 6 am when I had to leave. The staff was nice enough though. I will avoid this place unless I absolutely have to from now on.

A week after writing my initial review, I did get an update from the hotel staff saying that they were planning on upgrading the laundry room based on my feedback!

If you are headed to Milwaukee for Summerfest in June or July, this Days Inn gets the job done. For a reasonable price, you get a clean room, continental breakfast, friendly staff and a short walk to the park and ride lot to then hop on the Freeway Flyer which gets you to the main gate of Summerfest in about 15 minutes. So if you’re looking for a clean place to stay for a good price, Days Inn will hook you up. And if you are looking for something a bit nicer, there are at least five other hotels in the area, but I highly recommend the Days Inn.

Got a deal on Hotwire, so I guess it was worth the price, but the bed was TINY(felt less than a full size) and the breakfast in the morning was the worst continental hotel breakfast I’ve had. Bagels, cereal, and coffee, and that was it. Plus it’s cramped in a tiny space, so if there’s more than like 3 people in there, you can’t even move around the toaster without bumping into someone.
