Grew up summering on the island, but Grandparents retired year round. On the rock even today, there are few places open year round and this is one of them. It is one of a handful of spots everyone goes, everyone knows: a fabric of dwellers. Burgers, chowder, lobster rolls and even sushi have made menu appearances. I go for the people, lack of pretense and the memories. It is certainly not foodie heaven; there are several TVs many beers on tap and Aok bar food. The atmosphere changes from locals only during«off» months to crowded with tourists in season. Karaōke sing alongs are epic, and the islanders are among the most down home folk you’ll meet. The dance floor really packs out and you can have a great time busting a move while watching others who take«dance like nobody is watching» places never imagined. It is probably more of a 3* place, but years ago, I met the love of my life here. One of the countless jobs he held during our many neverending dream clouded summers on the rock. Those kind of memories sear into your soul and make places irreplaceable. Now, when I’m on the island I go have a drink leaving Bombay & tonic at the bar for him. Last stop before the final ferry: at his Westside grave to ponder the cruelty of fate. Happy belated 40th birthday…31 years were not enough. Check out this video on YouTube: For RND with love, always

Popular family spot in downtown oak bluffs. Dinner food and prices. Nice staff and convenient. Not special but surely reliable. All the kids seemed happy.

I am surprised the reviews were so low. My daughter who worked on the Vineyard for four summers said to go here. Three couples went and we all got the lobster roll with the cup of chowder and it was outstanding! The buttered and toasted roll was exceptional and the lobster was fresh and good! Loved it!

[Visit of June 18] This was a good bet to watch the Euro Cup soccer games. The beer selection was good and the Irish Nachos were so big they took 3 days to finish. The Lobster Bisque and the New England Clam Chowder were above average. We stopped by twice(first us guys to watch the game, then a second visit for the ladies to have a snack). Service was attentive the first time and a bit sub-par the second(waitress gone for lengthy periods). Try the Troegs HopBack Amber draft, which isn’t overly heavy, and the Brooklyn Sorachi Ace, a light but tasty draft similar to the Japanese sushi beers. All in all, this beats the rough locals bars on the street in Oaks Bluff.

Came here to watch the final eastern conference between Miami and Boston. The place get pretty pack and there are alot of large T. V around. I didn’t get a chance to try the food but the drinks were cool. After the game, they had singing night which alot of people were enjoying. Proably come back here again just to watch a game on T.V.

The food is decent, they seem to copy the Cheesecake factory menu, only the fried kinds for fat stomachs. The ambiance attracts a drinker, not a diner, a bit tacky and quite low-keyed, but with $ 20+ dinner prices, that is steep. The waitresses, Wat-da-eff. they don’t deserve tips. They never attend the tables, they just drop the food and gone. I can see why people leave mixed reviews about it. Somehow they last all this time, and I wonder why, especially, when other hard-working dinner places struggle to survive the winter in the same town.

We went there to dine and watch the red sox game in sept. we sat in front of three tvs with 3 different sports channels on including the redsoxwith music on which we were ok with. suddenly an employee wanted the lsu game on with his buddies… as they changed all the tvs to the lsu game leaving the red sox game on a fourth blurry tv. and proceeded to toy with volume to «blast’ the lsu game for«the employee» and screaming buddies… I asked to have one of the tvs show the baseball game. pennant race? to no avail… we left after our app. went to sharkys in edgartown… best move we made. they obviously have their priorities backwards!

We came here for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised. When I think of pub food, I don’t have high expectations, so maybe that helped. Our food wasn’t bad at all. Everything tasted very fresh and flavorful. Granted, it was mostly fried food/diner dishes, but they were good! I don’t know what this place is like at night, so I can’t speak to that, but I do recommend it for a casual lunch. Good beer too!

I honestly can’t believe I spent money at this establishment. After reading a few reviews about this being a local place I totally get it though. We have one of those in Falmouth too. It’s called the Towne Tavern. My only wish is that I had consulted Unilocal before going here for a late evening dinner with friends. As soon as we sat down an annoying karaōke announcer cranked up the volume and any chance of our nice dinner with friends was quickly over. The waitstaff is a $#!% show, and the only beers you can get by the pitcher are Coors Light, Bud Light, and PBR. Woo variety! My husband noticed that they had Sierra on tap, but they refused to serve it to us by the pitcher. The rest of our group were those suffering from drunk hunger coma and couldn’t stop us from canceling our order to make a quick and painless exit, so we were forced to stay. Once the pitcher arrived I was even more thrilled to see they were one of those bars who uses the pitchers with built in chillers in the middle. Not really sure how much they’re saving by using those considering they won’t serve anything other than the cheapest beer in them. I’ll admit, the food wasn’t as awful as the atmosphere would indicate, but I’m not really sure who would order sushi from a place like this. We steered clear of that and ordered your typical bar food. It’s pretty hard to mess that stuff up, but it’s not exactly the dining experience I was hoping to have in memory when I thought of Martha’s Vineyard.

When everywhere else closes for the winter, Season’s keeps its doors open, entertaining locals with karaōke and other events. I especially enjoy the winter when the game room next door closes to the street and the games and pool tables become part of the bar. The perfect place for an impromptu high school reunion. Karaōke can be pretty painful, but isn’t part of the joy of karaōke laughing at the bad and being totally shocked when someone gets up there who can actually sing? Quite fun to watch and start your evening with. Food is consistently ok and the service is friendly. I’m not sure I like the remodeling. The brick walls do make it more pub-y, but I miss the murals of Oak Bluffs that used to adorn the walls.

Season’s is basically a bar that dabbles in food. Do not expect a quality meal here but if you want to check out a ball game or sing karaōke then this is your spot for the evening. Weekend crowds gather at the bar so it can get somewhat tight when trying to get a drink.

Do you want to be a REAL islander? A true, hard core, in-the-know kind of islander, even if you were not born here and thus do not really even qualify? If you do, there are several places you need to go– more than once. One is in Vineyard Haven– Cumby’s. Hang out here for a bit and you’ll get into the gory guts of VH.(It helps if you chain smoke, drink a lot of coffee and buy scratch tickets.) The other hard core island places all have seats and a bit more atmosphere.(Not to mention menus, waitresses and in two cases, booze.) These three are all in OB– Linda Jean’s, The Ocean View and Seasons. They are all open year round(unlike a couple of other island haunts, Giordano’s Pizza and Dairy Queen). Seasons has a solid reputation among islanders looking for anything with some fun energy, heat and electricity in the off-season. It offers a sports bar atmosphere, karaōke nights, chili cook-offs, a standard menu of burgers, fries, awful salad, basic sandwiches and even some decent sushi. Lots of beer and lots of craziness on the weekends. It’s a young crowd– not always a family friendly environment, but if you go early, you’ll be okay with the little ones in tow. The staff are all local and they know everyone.(No secrets here.) Service can be super slow but they all mean well and are hard working kids trying to pay the rent and get off the rock. Don’t go here looking for a memorable meal. Do go looking for the real island scene– especially in January when everyone else will be here, too. If you have a few beers, maybe you will even sing to the crowd on karaōke night. And we’ll all look for you on YouTube.

This restaurant is below average. As someone else mentioned, it has a bit of a sports bar kind of vibe with a very casual atmosphere. The food wasn’t that great. I got to try the pulled pork sandwich which came with their homemade pub chips. The pulled pork was just okay, didn’t really taste like what you would get at an authentic barbecue place and the chips were kinda stale. Also tried the clam chowder which had a decent texture, but had too many potatoes and hardly any clams. The service was kind of slow and not very friendly. Also, I wasn’t too impressed with the kids meal. My daughter ordered the pizza which was a tiny round frozen pizza. Luckily kids aren’t that picky. I think there are better places to eat on the island and would only go here if you’re looking for an okay place to watch a game.

This is a great restaurant to eat at in Oak Bluffs. It has a very casual /sports bar vibe. The food was good. I enjoyed a sauteed lobster role that was delicious. My friend had salmon that she enjoyed. Service was a bit on the slow side, but it gave us time to enjoy our beers. And the location is great, right where all the action is. It would be great if they could somehow swing an outdoor seating section, though. We were not there when they had live entertainment, but they do have karaōke nights, comedy club nights, etc. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal at Seasons.

I can only talk about the awesome time I had here doing some karaōke. There was a huge set list and the joy was overflowing on the Saturday night my friends and I filled by singing and dancing. A dude even called us his dancing section! They had a variety of beer on tap and it was a’flowing. Great time to dance your cares away!

Probably one of the worst restaurants I have tried so far: extremely slow service — took them 45 min to get my food ready when the place was only 20% occupied, i cannot imagine what it would be like when the dinner rush really comes in. the food was terrible — the thai salmon i ordered was way too dry and spicy, the filet had no taste and they just put tons of chili pepper on the skin(yes it came with skin), the mashed potato tasted as if it had gone bad(literally… it tasted sour), the scrod was okay but the rice that came with it was so undercooked that i thought my jaw was gonna break chewing thru it(and being chinese im quite good at eating rice… if theres such ability). the table next to us had a bunch of drunk guys that just couldnt stop yelling… they eventually got into a fight and got kicked out… funny how the restaurant didnt do anything before the fight started even though just about every customer was pissed off at them… imaging a bunch of college guys swearing in front of your 5-yr olds… this is definitely not a family restaurant… even though it tries to be one.
