Ace Hardware

It makes me feel a little silly, but this is the only place I know that cuts keys, so that’s why I come here. They have a decent array of gardening supplies and ornamental stuff for the outside of your home/​apartment. I suppose I might come here more if I owned a house or had a green thumb. I will say that this place is never packed, which is nice. I have a mini heart attack when I have to go to Walmart due to the sheer volume of people. The store is easy to navigate and the employees are more than accommodating. I get greeted when I walk through the door by a cashier and am asked if I need help within a couple minutes. I only wish I had more reasons to come here. Maybe I’ll learn how to garden someday.

I needed some hard to find replacement wheels for a large container — I had searched internet sites and wasted money on wheels that didn’t fit. I went to this Ace hardware store with my problem and was helped by the owner/​manager of this store (didn’t get his name),
I’m from out of town and not used to getting the kind of incredible customer service I was about to receive… they had wheels that were close…, but still didn’t fit, so the owner took them in the back and using a grinder, custom fit the wheels no extra charge… he did this because it helped me, and solved my problem… and in the process, saved me nearly $ 200!$
I am truly impressed and a bit overwhelmed to find such incredible customer care and work ethic… so refreshing, so rare… I now remember what that feels like from so many years ago… This should have been my first stop…
