Dairy Queen

I came here for free cone Monday! Everyone was super nice and friendly! Even the people dining there! I’m not a big fan on fast food joints but wanted to take my nephew to get free ice cream. LOL! I was actually blown away on how clean this facility was! It’s one of the cleanest fast food joints I’ve ever be at!

Ordered $ 32 in food and watched through the drive through window as they made my hamburgers by grabbing the hamburger patty out of the tray with their bare hands (hands they had just been adjusting their apron and pants with), using no gloves or utensils, and assembling the hamburgers. Then microwaving them all. We promptly went into the restaurant to complain and were told that they are not required to wear gloves and that gloves made the ladies hands itch. We also asked if it was normal to microwave their food and they said yes but at no time were they cordial or accommodating. They never offered to remake our food instead refunded our money. I have tried to get the number of the store manager to no avail to call and ask about procedure and let them know about our bad experience.
I tried to call the customer service number found online and when we let them know we were calling them their response was, «so what. that’s not gonna do anything. We are a franchise.»
This family of six won’t be back!

Stopped by Dairy Queen this afternoon for grilled burger specifically requested mustard on the burgers but was served ketchup instead; this mistake made me rate this Dairy Queen with low score. If someone request their food be served a certain way expectations should be met. Just saying…
I spoke with the manager yesterday who informs he will discuss with his staff the importance of making sure customers orders are correct. He also rendered his apologies for the mistake and any inconveniences. Therefore, I will change my rating of this establishment at this time.

Been a fan of Dairy Queen since I was a kid and I’m never disappointed!
