Hadn’t been here in a while but was craving Sweet Tamale Corn Cakes and as usual, The Cheesecake Factory didn’t disappoint. A perfect combination with sauce, avocado, tomato and their other ingredients. The Beet and Goat Cheese salad with green apples and pecans was just right followed by the Lemon Raspberry cheesecake. The only reason I am not giving 5-stars this go around is because I had to look around for the server a few times in an otherwise uncrowded bar area. Next time I will try to remember to take pictures of the food as well, they always do a great job with plate presentation.

I planned a news nice Father’s Day brunch with my husband and children but… We didn’t mind the 15 minute wait, but then we waited 15 minutes for our waitress, 20 minutes for our drinks and another 15 minutes for bread. Once our food arrived 35 minutes later the orders were wrong and luke warm.

decent, but not great. the two stars are solely for the cheesecake only. we visited on a late Saturday night, and our party of 4 was able to walk right in and get seated. the service was pretty good, but other than that i see no reason people are willing to wait 3+ hours to eat here. our table ordered the spinach dip, cajun jambalaya pasta, gumbo, and a burger. the spinach dip was literally just ok, nothing special and definitely not worth the $ 12 we paid for it. the problem i had was with my Cajun jambalaya pasta, seriously people? why are so many people obsessed with this dish? do people just not know how to cook at home and are easily impressed? that has to be it, because when i say there was 0 flavor in this dish, i am not exaggerating. the only thing about it was the presentation was great, but other then that, nothing stood out. you get lots of peppers and chicken/shrimp in this dish, but no flavor whatsoever. it literally tasted like someone just dumped an entire can of pepper on noodles, just awful. usually i am not hard to please with food, but if this is one of their more popular dishes, i don’t understand why. my fiancé said his gumbo was pretty good, and my sister said her burger was decent. however both me and my cousin who ordered the same as me did NOT like the pasta at all. we all ordered cheesecake slices to go and those were delicious as always, but i definitely will order something different when i come back! and i’m only going to return because i have a gift card, other than that, this place is not worth the long ass wait time!

We came here for my daughter’s birthday and I am appalled at how our meal went. It started with the appetizer taking 20+mins bc they burned it the first time(no big deal, manager apologized) however… When the birthday girl’s spaghetti came it was dry and old-looking, completely unacceptable to serve(i am in the industry, it was 100% not ok). Second daughter’s food was ok(can’t really mess pizza up) then my steak/shrimp combo came… Each piece was a different temperature, I ordered mid rare and received one less than rare, on med well, and one medium. Wtf?! No manager apologized, server half heartedly apologized, aka we won’t be back.

I have been here several times. Long waits when they first opened but as people got their fix their waits slowed. I like their low calorie menu, it’s filling and the portions are just. I had the veggie burger from the low calorie menu. It was absolutely great. We also had the egg roll sampler the sauce on the sampler are worth keeping when your fries come. At first the waiter brought the wrong Burger, instead of the veggie burger however the manager came over and apologized offered me some free items and fixed the veggie Burger. Overall I am impressed with the Cheesecake Factorys Service, it’s not really the service when everything goes smoothly it’s the service when things go wrong that matter.

I’ve been hearing about Cheesecake Factory for a fee years now. Up to the point where when I heard that they were coming to Novi, I was JACKED to go. I friend of mine invited me and my wife to go with his family to eat dinner there. I ordered the Everything Pizza and it was just okay. I ordered the plain cheesecake and it was just ok. And I’m ok that the food didn’t WOW me. But the prices were much to high for such mediocre food. 4⁄10 tops.

Horrible food, service is hit or miss, but at least ambience is nice. Chicken Chorizo omelette: potatoes were burned and very dark. Egg omelette tasted rubbery, very artificial taste and texture. Chicken chorizo filling was ok. Miso salmon: rice was dry and undercooked. Not moist at all. Salmon was nothing special. Sweet miso sauce very sweet that you can’t taste miso. Bacon chicken pasta(Evelyn’s pasta?): extremely greasy! I love bacon but that was so greasy I couldn’t even taste the pasta sauce, therefore, very bland! Cheesecakes and desserts very good as usual, thankfully because they are not made in house. I usually take the family here once a month for Sunday brunch because of the ambience and we usually order breakfast items because it is harder to screw up breakfast, but today’s lunch was sh*t!!! Most waitstaff are well trained, but some from the other side of the tracks need to take their attitude elsewhere. I already overpay for less than average quality food and shouldn’t have to deal with servers who do not have basic customer service skills such as a smile. I’ll be getting take out desserts from now on.

It’s official, I’m insane… I keep trying this place over & over again expecting different results… HORRIBLE experience today. 1. Didn’t even know who our server was?!? 2. Waited 10 minutes to get knifes for our meals after receiving our entrees 3. Both tables next to us, we’re having basically the same issues… 4. My flatbread had hard breadcrumbs sprinkled on top? And my friends steak came with .1oz of potatoes… Huh? I really hope the family that owns this chain, gets a reality check soon. No one seems happy recently and it makes me sad. Lemon Raspberry Cream Cheesecake: To-go, YES! Dine in, NO!!!

I cannot stand mediocre restaurants that try to put out an image of exclusivity when they are no better than your neighborhood Applebee’s. We walked into an empty restaurant at 10:45 on a Sunday morning(45 minutes after they open) and were told that it was a 30 minute wait. I watched this happen for the next 40 minutes until there were more people waiting to be sat than there were people actually at tables. In the meantime we are watching the waitstaff, barstaff and host staff socialize in the empty dining area. We finally were sat and the food was decent(not bad, but not worth the wait). I must note that ALL of our plates were too hot to touch. For anyone who has not worked in the food industry: this means your food sat under a heat lamp for at least 5 minutes. Restaurants don’t have«plate warmers». As we left we saw that the wait was well over an hour(for lunch!!) which could have been prevented by moving things along starting with the people who arrived earlier. Management: if you are listening and care– there are better ways of running your front of the house. There were a lot of other irritated people waiting to be sat who had the same grumblings as me. We will not be back.

Food is adequate. However, if you want clean dishes and cutlery you may have a problem! Omgoodness! Had to ask for three different tea cups and then I had a surprise in my teapot… lettuce! When I asked for another bowl to share my dessert they gave my daughter a filthy one. I’m scared to think what our dishes looked like from the kitchen! The waitress was unfazed by the lettuce in the teapot… can’t go back there! They get one star because the food was served hot.

This place is always crazy busy but if you have never been here go during lunch because it’s not as busy. One time I waited three hours during dinner time. I personally never thought the food was anything special it reminds me of a AppleBees or TGI Friday. There is a cheesecake counter where you can order dessert to go which is really the only reason I dine here. I would skip the wait and grab cheesecake to go.

The food was decent and the cheesecake was good, but why in God’s name did it take 40 minutes to get seated(eventually the wait time was 2 hrs!), 30 minutes to get our food(«fresh rice»), and another 30 minutes to get our cheesecake?! For lunch, that’s a ridiculous amount of time. Our waiter was very kind and he did apologize for the wait. It was not his fault. Even after our $ 25 gift card our lunch with tip was $ 40. Two fish taco dinners(with rice & beans), two iced teas, and two cheesecakes to go. Not worth the wait or the price. If you want cheesecake, order ahead and do carry out.

I’ve never been to a more overrated restaurant than Cheesecake Factory in Novi. It all starts with the wait-I’ve tried to get into here a couple times and the wait has been always been over an hour(one times it was 3.5 hours). I’m sorry, but 1. Nothing is worth waiting for, 2. Restaraunts aren’t worth waiting for 3. Cheesecake Factory is not worth waiting for. There is really no system to the waiting the entrance is small so they suggests you wait in the mall area. They give you a buzzer and tell you, you can walk around the mall… but don’t tell you how far you can go. Once you finally get a seat the service is terrible. We sat for 10 minutes until someone came over and asked if we had been waited on. We said no and she picked us up as her table… the table next to us ordered around the time we did, we were done and had received the bill and they hadn’t received their food. I can’t complain about the food, it is good. But not an hour good or 3.5 hours good. Had the burrito and we got some small plates(Cuban sandwich egg rolls and buffalo chicken meatballs). The food is the only thing that saves this place from getting 1 star. I’ve been to the location in Chicago where I have never had to wait… I’m not sure why this is but I have an idea. The location is just too small, not enough room for a bar, carry out, bakery and seating. Everyone is sitting on top of each other because too much was thrown into a space that can’t handle it.

My boyfriend and I dined here the other night for my birthday. We’ve been here a couple times in a past and loved it. While the wait was an hour for Saturday afternoon, we didn’t mind at all. We snagged a pager and shopped the mall for an hour and when we came back our pager when off. When we came back the wait was over three hours long so make a day of it and understand that you will most likely have a wait. We got placed at a two seater table at one end of the restaurant. Perfect spot because we were out the way in the very crowded restaurant. Menu is humongous and actually has page numbers. I ordered the chicken tacos that came with a side of veggies. 3 corn shell tacos stuffed with chicken and pico. Yum! They give you bread to munch on while you wait and it’s to die for! We had a Carryout of the kahlua cheesecake and it was heavenly! We will definitely be back for special occasions. It’s about an hour drive from my house. Service has always been great– as well as the food.

Thee Cheesecake Factory! Ok, the first time I ever ate at a Cheesecake Factory was at Sacramento about 5 to 6 years ago. It was quite some time ago, but the experience was very good. It’s not just a place for you to order up cheesecakes. Their food is actually very good. But be prepared to wait for a table, this is basically the ONLY cheesecake factory here in Michigan. So yes, people do make the pilgrimage just to have a crack at it. Appetizer of choice, the chicken samosas. Those things are addictive, trust me on that. Then entrée’ of choice for me would be the Chicken Marsala or the Shepherds Pie. Those two things, you can never go wrong. Dishes so good, you’d prolly lick the plate when you’re done. Come early and put your name on the list right away. Go shopping and just check from time to time to see if your time has shortened. I always expect a bit of wait, just because I wouldn’t be shocked if there was one. I just put my name on the list and go shopping, then check back afterwards. Hopefully they’ll open another one. Literally waited OVER3 hrs & returned to be told it’s another 10 – 15 minutes. This place needs to have better turnover and people that know how to speak to a customer. Just for these reasons alone, I give this place a 1. No restaurant — especially this one, is worth an over 3 hour wait. They removed us from the list because we didn’t come back at a guess of time to get a beeper. Pardon me! They should have more pagers, work with reservations or have a better system in place. The food is not outstanding. Nor is the cheesecake. EVEN Chicago Cheesecake Factory knows how to manage the crowd– even Vegas does. Your hostess– the one that GREETS potential customers — is rude. Jennifer needs a dishwashing job. The only thing that made the night was our server, Stephanie. She was incredible and is the epitome of what The Cheesecake Factory employee should be. The best one we’ve ever had in the several visits we’ve experienced. She gets the full 5 stars and should be promoted to management.

I went with a group of 8. We arrived around 5:00 on an evening that was busy with holiday gatherings and shoppers. We only had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. Timing seems to be everything with this place. Though, since it’s in the mall, waiting a couple of hours, as happens on weekends and later in the evening, may not bother everyone. The service was great. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. She knew the menu and the drinks well and made good suggestions. The food was okay. Based on recommendations here, we tried the nachos. While it was a huge portion and easily shared among 8, the flavor was so so. As was the calamari and the avocado egg rolls. I ordered the grilled fish tacos, recommended by a friend, and they were also just okay. The rice served with them was bland and was not hot on my plate. The black beans were very good. The tacos themselves were well presented, but their flavor was boring. What should have been a contrast of textures, chewy shells, crunchy cabbage, tender fish, just didn’t have enough contrast. It seemed as if nothing was held at the right temperature or that the tacos had been made up and sat for a long time before serving. At my table I overheard several similar comments on the food, well-flavored salmon, but overcooked, another cold side dish. Perhaps this was an off night, or maybe the sheer number of menu items makes it hard to do anything too well? Since I was off to another event following dinner, I didn’t have any dessert, but if I go back I think that’s what I’ll stick to since it’s in the name.

Who in their right mind wouldn’t like Cheesecake. The best time to go here, is anytime before 5pm. They have lunch specials that are up to $ 5 off the dinner price. Of course with the name like Cheesecake Factory, the cheesecake is on point. You can order any different kind and you will surely be impressed. The service here is pretty average for a restaurant that is as busy as this place is. Be careful of the time you go, the typical busy weekend/nights are busy. Your wait may be longer then you want it to be, however it is for sure worth it. I suggest eating the cheese cake no mater what, even if your lactose. It’s that good!

Ok Cheesecake Factory, I’ve got some questions: 1. Why is the wait STILL so long?!? 2. Why is the menu so big?! 3. Why haven’t I been able to eat here without having a disaster happen to my insides every single time?! I’ve tried multiple dishes here, all of which have left me with varying levels of gut rot. They taste great going down… buuuuut that’s where the fun stops and the pain begins. It’s almost like my body goes WTF? as soon as this stuff hits my stomach, and it’s all it can do to get that food out as quickly as it went in. Get the picture? Every time that I’ve gone, the service and wait times were decent despite how incredibly packed the place is. Portion sizes are HUGE(blessing for some, a curse in my case) and anyone that can finish their meal in one sitting has my complete admiration and respect. Strangely enough, I’ve never actually had the cheesecake here *gasp!* I’ve tried their other diabetes inducing desserts, but if I wanted thawed out cheesecake, I’d stop at the frozen section of the grocery store. And, I also tend to prefer my own cheesecake… just sayin’. Will I go back? Probably. Will I enjoy myself? Until the first bite hits the stomach, then it’s a race against the clock… Would I recommend? Sure, but don’t say I didnt warn you.

Regularmente esta muy lleno el lugar tardan hasta 30 min en darte una mesa y una hora mas en servir la comida, se que cheesecake factory es un lugar confiable y con buena comida pero este lugar de vda se encuentra lleno la mayoria del tiempo
