I love this«multi-purpose» retail shop. Yes, it is founded as a «Christian Bookstore» but think about the fact that are own library struggles and most book stores are a thing of the past but… This is a benefit for those looking for the ideal gift wether it be religious or sentimental or just plain awesome. I have bought a child’s bible there for a «First Communion» and some trinkets and books for my young child that made her day! The owner works alone which is probably how she keeps the prices down which again is a benefit to the consumer. She has everything from tea sets, to Buddha Boards, to jewelry that is literally a third of the price you would pay at a big box retailer and even less at another speciality shop(non-religious not included as I have not found such a place). Go visit this place and keep it going. It is worth your time, money and the gifts for yourself or others will be cherished in my humble opinion!

I found this charming store on Grant St. right when I needed it, right after lunch at the Left Coast Depot. They had plenty of little meaningful gifts to give to the kids I work with at church for their retreat the next day. It’s great to know that a Christian bookstore is in old-town Novato. I’ll be coming back.

Yay! Novato has a Christian bookstore again(or should I say gift shop?). Same owner as Amen Bookstore that closed years ago. New location is behind Whole Foods. The selection is not as wide because the space is a lot smaller. They have a website that you can order from. Owner is very knowledgable and willing to order what you want. Although the book selection was quite small, the gift options were many. My mom found two Christmas presents. When I couldn’t find the book I wanted, the owner found what I wanted online and ordered it — very accommodating. Great customer service. Will definitely return. Loyal customers are rewarded. 4 out of 5 stars because of limited selection.
