Teeny Cake

I went here for a private event hosted by Beauty Counter (my new favorite line) and everything was amazing. I know that is a blanket statement so let me break it down for y’all.
First, while I have had their food at other events before, I did not know they have their OWN Private Dining Room. It isn’t a completely detatched area, but is sectioned off from the main store by gorgeous purple drapes with a private entrance on the other side. The wall to the street is lined with windows for an open feel and the rest of the room is elegantly decorated with chic wall paper and sophisticated credenza.
Most importantly is the product. Every cake, every muffin was perfect. To save me from feeling like a glutton fresh fruit was served along side the carbs, I mean cakes. It even tasted as if their cofee and tea was a cup above the rest.

Delicious cupcakes! Have been a long fan for many years. Great flavors and yummy, moist cupcakes. Adorable and cute ambiance setting. Kind and caring work staff. Support local business; they’re great. Lots of selection of cupcakes and they do tea parties!

So freaking good — and amazing, local, «small town» service. We used them for our son’s 3^rd birthday last summer and the attention to detail to make sure we had just what we wanted was tremendous. Super kind, and attentive bakery with the most amazing cupcakes. Can’t wait to go back!

I had a number of Teeny Cake’s cupcakes at a Holiday event last night. WOW. Loved their cupcakes and brownie bites. I highly recommend their Vanilla — Olive Oil Sea Salt cupcake. It’s a party in your mouth — so unique and tasty!

Such a nice treat. Took a friend here for her birthday and everything was delicious and the service was terrific. Especially loved the vanilla bean scones. Wish those were available outside of afternoon tea!

We hosted our son’s first birthday party in the private room at Teeny Cake. I cannot say enough about Michelle, her staff (we love Jack) the ambiance, attention to detail and delicious baked goods. Their pricing is fair and Michelle is happy to help you pick the perfect sips and snacks for your event. The cost includes the space, the linens, serving pieces, decorations, balloons, flowers, goodies and beverages and even goody bag treats. I had attended an event previously and could not imagine a more perfect party for my son. I had a mad hatter theme (I have a son, so didn’t think that I could get away with Alice in Wonderland) and Michelle was fabulous with incorporating our theme. From the tiny details or red striped straws, to red roses, to spade/​heart shapes on our cake to cake pops in red, white and black.
Now, onto the teeny cupcakes. Her flavors are out of this world. She started out teeny cakes trying to find the perfect vanilla, but skip right past that to olive oil and sea salt, lemon and delicious seasonal flavors such as strawberry, pumpkin, chocolate peppermint and gingerbread chai. We also served mini sea salt chocolate chip cookies. We also did finger sandwiches and loved the red pepper and cheddar and turkey and Swiss. They all were in different shapes and kept everyone happy with savory to accompany their sweets.
Whether you want to throw a party, have afternoon tea of just pop in for a treat, Teeny Cakes is your spot. They are a great addition to our community.

I see such good reviews for this place. But I have mixed reviews. Yes the location is good and the friendly atmosphere is inviting. But let’s talk about the important stuff … The cup cakes. They are «ok» but not the best gourmet cup cake. I have visited this place 10+ times when I wanted a sweet fix over the past year … No matter early morning, mid day of late evening the cup cakes are dry. I have yet to experience a moist cup cake. The frosting is pretty much dry as well. Having tasted some amazing cup cake places in the Bay Area, this place at best is mediocre. The price however equals that of an expensive gourmet cupcake place. I’d still go to get a cup cake or two … But not something anyone should go out of the way to buy cup cakes.

This review is based only on one experience, but it was a good one. My friend ordered delivery of gluten-​free German Chocolate cupcakes from Teeny Cakes. My doorbell rang, I opened the door and I hear «Happy Birthday» and am presented with this adorable box with a perfect little purple bow and some delectable cupcakes inside.
I shared them with friends and everyone LOVED them. They were delicious. Am excited to try some other cupcakes here!

We LOVED Teeny Cake for our wedding cupcakes. Michelle and her team were very professional throughout our cupcake tastings. They carefully considered every detail and offered great recommendations, based on their experience with our wedding venue site.
The cupcakes were a huge hit at the wedding. Our cake table was also perfectly decorated to capture our reception theme.

I’m so pleased with the service at Teeny Cake! Michelle is fantastic, and her staff is hard working and always seem truly happy to be at work.
We ordered cupcakes for a angelversary /​birthday celebration and had a special request. They were so accommodating with it, and even when the order was changed, there were no problems!
Unfortunately, the cupcakes shifted and tumbled over on our short trip, but not one person cared! The cupcakes were just as good with smashed icing! Next time I’ll have them delivered!

Best cupcakes in Marin! Absolutely delicious cupcakes. You can tell that they are baked fresh daily. My personal favorite is the sea salt Olive oil vanilla. It is very unique I’v never even heard of this kind before. But it is absolutely delicious!
If you go here right in the morning you can taste the warmness of the cake. 5 stars always!

I’m sorry to give a negative review but these teeny cakes were disappointing. According to the website, the cakes are supposed to be baked fresh daily but they were dry and stale. The texture was a bit heavier like brownies. One positive, they’re not too sweet.

One of our talents was nice enough to bring us Teeny Cakes since she was coming in for a meeting. It was the afternoon of Wednesday, April 8^th and a much needed treat!
These cupcakes are the perfect size for me since they really are tiny! Two to three bites and you’re done! (Well, one bite if you eat like the roommate.) I tried the organic lemon. It had a slight tartness to it and a subtle sweetness. The cupcake itself could have used just a little more moisture, but this definitely satisfied my sweet tooth.
A great snack if you’re looking for just a touch of sugar.

Wow this place is great! They’re so nice here and the cupcakes, oh the cupcakes! So delicious! They make them regular size and minnie size too. Super moist, they got gluten free options also. Definitely a new favorite for me!

Cute little cupcake bar with additional goodies to wet any sweet or savory treats.
The space is nice for an intimate cupcake party. Everything looks new and clean with plenty of seating. There is also an outdoor patio with umbrellas.
The cupcakes come in interesting flavors, and I like that they come full and mini sized. I ordered four minis: Chocolate with vanilla frosting, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, toasted almond, and red velvet. Each had a perfect balance of sweet but the frosting is what really makes their cupcakes– outstanding.
Other goodies include equator coffee, dessert bars, cookies, and biscuits/​scones. I have yet to try these but I’m a big fan of Equator coffee.

I stumbled upon this little gem while taking a walk through downtown Novato. While the building is quite narrow inside and probably hard to have a large party in, their cupcakes are quite tasty. They have a monthly cupcake to try as well as various cupcakes in different sizes. I was happy to try the champagne cupcake! I will be eager to try another monthly cupcake in the near future as well as some of their specialties. One area that might make it easier to notice that they are there is a larger sign. I would never have known had I not been walking by that this place ever existed. It is a little treasure that needs more exposure.

I absolutely adore this place! All of the cupcakes & breakfast items that I’ve tried have been amazing! Cinnamon sugar bites are addicting & so perfectly sinful! Donut holes got nothing on these things!
Peanut butter chocolate cupcakes are my absolute favorite! I’m not usually a fan of frosting but the peanut butter frosting… No words!
Blueberry bran muffins! Tastes great without the guilt. My 4yr old sure liked it.
This would be a great place for a tea party! Perfect for a baby shower, birthdays, etc. Their party room is very cute & they have lovely design options!

For our wedding, we ordered mini cupcakes and a cake from teeny cake. Our guests loved the taste as it was not too sweet and they were easy to eat; all the cupcakes disappeared quickly!
Michelle was very responsive, gave great suggestions and sent us pictures of the possible designs for the cake. She was also very sweet and helpful over the phone. She seemed a little bit frustrated with us when we didn’t reply in time as it was past 6 pm and with only 3 days left before the event, but that was our fault. She made it happen for us; otherwise, we would have dilly dallied for a much longer time.
We were very slow on choosing our orders because there were so many flavors to choose from. Michelle had set up a sample box for us, which included around 12 different flavors. In the end, we ordered red velvet, chocolate, and vanilla which matched perfectly with our wedding theme colors.
The cupcakes were delivered within our specified time and in great condition. The cupcakes were decorated with pretty sprinkles to match our theme! We will surely order from them again and this time we will be more prompt. Thank you, Michelle, for all your help, patience, and guidance! The cupcakes and cake really brought many cheers and smiles throughout our banquet night! Thanks again!

I came here on a Sunday afternoon with my boyfriend and two friends for a little double date. We were the only customers in the shop for the time we were there. Purple is my favorite color, so of course I loved the décor. Customer service was on point.
I got the Vanilla, Sea Salt, and Olive Oil cupcake and it was SO good. The cake was perfectly moist and the frosting was exactly the consistency it should be. It wasn’t thick and dense, but not so airy that it seemed like whipped cream. My boyfriend got the apple pie cupcake which was also delicious. I loved the apple compote on top with the caramel drizzle.
Our friends got a bunch of the mini cupcakes (so cute!) to try several flavors and they loved them all. They also had a double espresso which they loved and were really impressed with the espresso machine at the store.
I also really like that Teeny Cake has a separate party/​group event area. I hope I get to use it for something someday!

The couple that owns this place are wonderful! Ful of energy and smiles for everyone who enter! They truly love what they are doing and love people and it shows. He is a teacher at Olive Elementary and a great one at that! There cupcake match their personalities, fun and worth the stop! The inside of the place is cool and inviting. Charming with a modern hint. The coffee is nice and strong. If you like chocolate, the salted caramel is pretty darn good and if you like simple they have you covered! Unique and simple. They should be a standard in cupcakes!
