Pizza’s are good, and good sized. They are also affordable. They have great coupons too. I can get an extra large for about $ 10-​$ 15 less than it would cost to get an extra large at round table and the pizza at Stefano’s is bigger.

Good ol American style pizza. No fancy zero zero flour or San Marzano.
Thick and soft with a nice crust. Toppings are overloaded in a good way.
Order online in the morning and was ready at 7pm to be picked up.
BBQ sauce on the pizza, nice sweet note.

We got everything we ordered but 30 minutes later than promised, this despite our conpany ordering the day before.
They called us that hours before to say they would be late; we told them we couldn’t delay. They said they’d be on time then were late. Clearly, we were low on some list of orders.
Since they include the tip on delivery, we couldn’t tip less; so this Unilocal review is being written. Food is good; service is average or below.

Great pizza! We ordered on a Saturday night and the delivery time was about an hour, which is pretty good in my opinion. We hope the combo and cheese sticks, both were hot, fresh, and not overly greasy. My boyfriend said that this was the first combo pizza he’s had that he didn’t have to pick anything off of due to bad ingredients, being over/​undercooked, etc. I also love their commitment to green energy.

This place is a tough one because pizza is really delicious but the service is sub par and it’s too expensive. My boyfriend has on multiple occasions had issues over the phone with unfriendly staff that can’t seem to communicate well with their drivers. Upon walking in they don’t go out of their way to make you feel welcome, but whatever, it’s a hole in the wall pizza joint. I have to say the pizza will always have us coming back. It’s so good. The dough is amazing, sauce and cheese are always perfect and fresh, and I’m obsessed with their sausage. Go lighter on the toppings unless you want a floppy mess. They also do slices for lunch, $ 5 for two with a soft drink. Yum!

Been meaning to try Steffano’s.
Not sure if it is the same owner as years ago when it was located in the square. I should have asked. One thing I remember about the old Steffano’s was his crust was excellent. Chewy, and sour.
The new Steffano’s was good, but just average. Better than extreme. But not at all good as Giringelli’s. The toppings were fresh and generous portions. The staff was friendly and my food was hot when I picked it up. I thought it was a bit pricy. though. $ 40.00 for pick up to medium pizzas. All in all, I would rate them a 3 for average.
Next time would prefer to eat at Giringelli’s

We ordered a pizza, caesar salad, and 2 diet cokes for delivery from this place about a month ago. It took almost 2 hours to be delivered and we were STARVING when it arrived. We opened the food to find out that the «salad» had no dressing, it was just a container of romaine lettuce, and that the 2 diet cokes were nowhere to be found. We called to express our concerns and we received a gracious apology and a promise for a free pizza next time we called.
Called tonight and were told that the only way to redeem our free pizza was for us to buy another pizza (??? we don’t need two pizzas) and it had to be a pick-​up order.
Will not be ordering food here again. The pizza is not good enough to put up with all the confusion.

I’m visiting from out of town and, in keeping with my tradition of eating pizza when I stay in hotel rooms, I decided to try to find a good place in the Novato area. I finally decided I’d head to Stefano’s — I was not disappointed! The restaurant was much smaller than I expected, but I absolutely loved the pizza. Very thin crust, the cheese is delicious, the toppings are very fresh and plentiful (sun-​dried tomatoes earned extra points!). Employees were friendly and helpful. Overall a good experience, 10⁄10 would eat at Stefano’s again.

I’ve been here a few times and was disappointed each time. The pizzas have standard flavor but I found the dough to be undercooked a couple times. If this were a 10 – 15 dollar pizza, I’d understand, but it’s about 25 – 30 bucks a pizza, so I have higher expectations about quality.
I asked about the wifi (they have stickers all over advertising their store wifi) and they said it was staff only.

Worst pizza I’ve ever had. I ordered «the works» for delivery … About $ 45 with tip … Took an hour to arrive which is understandable however pizza arrived room temperature not even hot with hardly any sauce and the veggie toppings were completely raw. When the guy delivered we asked for some cheese and/​or pepper packets and he acted like it was a bizarre request. We tried calling the company to ask for a refund on at least the tip and they gave us attitude and told us we had to call the delivery app. Wtf? Why wouldn’t the pizza company itself deal with complaints? Horrible service and seriously the worst pizza I’ve ever had. If you want cardboard with some raw veggies order from this place

Granted, these are first world pizza problems, but I dont like being lied to. Ordered a pizza online for pickup. Went to stefanos novato at the time i was told. They couldnt find my order. When they found it, it wasnt like they jumped right on it because i was waiting. I was told it was in the oven. Lie. This is a very small place — you can see the oven. I watched ten other pizzas going in and out of the oven. I asked again and was told four more min. Lie. 25 minutes after arriving, my pizza came out. I asked to speak to the manager and all he offered was sorry, we’ll do better next time. It will take more than doing better next time after I was lied to twice. I was respectful in the face of being completely disrespected and lied to.

A little bit of a mixed review. I love the pizza, the best pizza in Novato for sure, my husband preferred red boy. My husband felt like he received the worst customer service for our pick up order. He felt that the man at the counter was bothered and annoyed that he, a customer, was there.

Their pizza is fine, but is anyone else having problems with weird pricing? On two home deliveries over the past month, the amount asked for by the driver has been more than the quoted price. Both times using the stefano’s coupons. Guy on the phone chalked it up to a computer error. Be sure to ask for the amount in advance and doublecheck it at the door.

Stefanos is the definition of average pizza. If you like east coast style pizza (thin crust) this place is for you.
I personally am a Chicago style pizza kinda guy, so this place isn’t to appealing to my kind.

Only three and a half stars for this one. The cheese-​to-​crust ratio was skewed in favor of the crust. Is it good business to alienate a return-​customer by saving a nickel on cheese?
