The place is really great– both food and service. The selection of menu items can satisfy anyone and the friendly wait staff makes you feel welcome.

I’ve been hear several times with friends for drinks and casual meals.
Service is excellent and friendly. Staff is accommodating to most dietary restrictions (there is only so much they can do).
Decent pizzas, though a bit pricey for what you get. I do appreciate the fact they have candle warmers for the pizzas at the table. A nice touch.
Lobster mac and cheese is good, and rich. Expect to take some home with you, or better yet, order it to share with friends as an appetiser.
It has a full bar. And 8 TVs in the main dining area, with more in the «banquet» room. The quotes are because it’s more of a party room, Banquet implies fine dining.
Make no mistake, this is a sports oriented venue. It’s going to be loud on game nights.
The seating is pleasant outside the bar area, nicely painted, with murals. I would say this could be a nice place for a casual date… mostly because of the TVs everywhere. Lose the TVs and this would be beautiful spot.

We ordered some take out for the family tonight, food was delivered in about 30 min. We ordered steak skewers appetizer it was great, I ordered the a cheeseburger add mushrooms and jalepeños so good came with a slice of red onion. The fries were garbage though. I recommend changing brands or cooking them more and adding more seasoning. I also ordered 2 orders of chicken tenders for my kids chicken tenders were great, fries again were not very good. Blue cheese was sent out instead of ranch with the tenders. Over all the food was good the service was great fries almost undercooked with no seasoning.

Worst most expensive Berger. Bought two burgers soggy and raw. Spent $ 30.00 for two burgers and fries.
They put onions on my sons burger after we told them 5 times no onions.

Besides the kind of lame happy hour menu the beer selection is on fleek (at least 25). One of the only places left in Novato that I can find my favorite beer, Sierra Nevada on tap. I usually just come for the beer but have tried the pizza and it is pretty good.
They have a friendly staff and the tunes are always going, which I always enjoy. Multiple tvs to watch with all the most current sports on.

While the food is good and we hear the Gluten Free pizza is good, our service here both times last month was AWFUL. My daughter, mom and I went to dinner here. My mom is GF and ordered the pizza, I ordered a regular pizza and my daughter a burger. My daughter received her burger. By the time she finished my pizza finally came. It was only then about 30+ minutes after ordering that the waiter told us he was just informed they were out of GF pizza. We should have just left then but it got worse. The waiter didn’t even offer to comp my mom the meal she had to order (and wait another 30 minutes for) nor did he offer her a complimentary glass of wine. Unbelievable! Even though this restaurant is close to our home, we will not be back.

Great place to watch sports and have a beer or two. Great pizza selection and great appetizers.

Good friendly service. My son and I enjoyed karaōke nights on Friday. I’m usually not drunk hanging out with my son to sing in front of everyone so I let my him do all the singing. And he loves it and I enjoy it.
The do right on the burger and chicken wings. We’ve been here a few times and the pizza is hit or miss. Once it was hard and dry on the crust and very bland, the next time it was almost trying to be a Flour & Water zero zero/​san marzano tomatoes. Weird but the good times over past the slight negatives. We’ve had some pasta dishes and the chicken Parmesan, just normal.
Many TVs, would be nice to have a burger and draft beer watching a game.
Will be one of our regular spots.

After an issue with a gift certificate, I contacted the owner and he will issue a refund for the balance.
I refused his generous offer of a gift card in the amount of $ 25.00 — we just wanted the balance to use next time.

Worst customer service ever. Ordered pizza to go and said I would be in bar. Pizza was to be ready in 15. 30 minutes later not one person stopped by to see if I needed anything. I saw a customer who came in 10 min after me receive their pizza. So I went back to the counter and they found my pizza. Bar help poor and waitstaff poor as far as I’m concerned. Management needs to step up and manage the Novato restaurant. I could undestand if they were busy but when I arrived no one was eating and the bar was ²⁄₃ full. Food is always excellent here so no trouble in the kitchen. Best pizza always and I will return because of the food.

This place has been a disappointment over and over for me. I used to be a regular customer but will never go back again. One day we had horrible service from a bartender when he completely ignored us and didn’t take our order for over 15 minutes even though they did not appear to be busy at all, finally when he took our order we waited and waited for our appetizer and asked if it was coming out and he said «oh yeah we’re out of that» thanks for waiting 20 minutes to tell us? We paid for our drinks and left, the bartender was extremely rude about the entire situation.
We decided not to go back after that but gave their delivery several more attempts since we like their food, particularly the pizza. We ordered pizza one night and the pizza was cold and didn’t seem as good of quality as before… disappointment number two. Then we decided to give it another shot with pizza ordering… the wrong pizza was delivered, and there was no ranch, red pepper flakes, or Parmesan as we asked for. I called back quickly and they apologized and said they had to make the correct pizza and they would bring it right away… ok so another half hour goes by, they bring the pizza STILL not what we asked for.
I thought I was done with this place but several months passed and we stupidly decided to give it one more shot, we thought maybe… hopefully they had made some improvements. But NOPE… worse than before. We ordered a pizza, two sodas, salad, lobster mac and cheese and asked for red pepper flakes and Parmesan on the side. The person on the phone was nice and he repeated our order back so we were hopeful that it would be better this time… However the pizza was luke warm, the Mac and cheese was completely cold, these two things aren’t THAT big of deal, I know they have to make other deliveries and it happens, and we can always reheat our food at home… But they brought the wrong sodas, no Parmesan or pepper flakes, and our $ 7 house salad consisted of totally wilted lettuce… I would guess it was at least one week old… and our pizza was soggy.
My mistake for giving them another shot… If I had to sum this place up in one word it would be trainwreck!

We liked our food. Our server was Sandra and very polite. Good selection of beer and wine.
We had Cesar salad, shrimp scampi, and bolognese pasta which were all excellent.
The whiskey cake dessert was also lovely.
A lot of TVs for sports fans. Can watch college football and MLB at the same time! Nice!

starting coming here for Sunday brunch during the football season which is excellent! Great menu and you have to LOVE their Bloody Mary bar where you can throw in your own garden and spices to have it just the way you want! Then started coming for dinners and discovered they do dinners as well as they do their brunches! We’re having our 2015 Grand PooBah kickoff dinner here because you know what you’re getting all the time, good food and good, friendly service :)

Came here for a business meeting. We didn’t order any food during our meeting. I hate to eat and talk. I decided to order a pizza to go after our meeting. I paid $ 30+ for a large But looked like a medium size. I think it was 12 slices everything on it pizza. I wasn’t surprised by anything except the price! Won’t be spending another $ 30 for pizza. Service was great though!

The Nave Shopping Center figures prominently in my childhood, from frequent trips to the Post Office and Thrifty’s. Nowadays I visit that particular USPS at most once a year, and as for Thrifty’s… well, that went by the wayside during the Clinton administration. Its place has been more than adequately filled by Novato’s iconic hardware store, Pini’s.
But there are other places to visit in this locale, not the least of which the locale now filled by Ghiringelli’s Pizzeria, the spelling of which always needs to be checked, at least by me. The spot has been filled by various eateries over time, one of which spilled wine on my mom way back when and gave us a real hassle about paying for its cleaning. Anyway, given that it’s been located between the post office and a liquor store, the space has something of a natural disadvantage.
Of course, if you have about a dozen televisions dialed into about nine different sporting events, lots of beer on tap, and a range of culinary items that put most bars to shame, that’s not much of an issue. That was the experience my wife and I had a few weeks ago when we decided to visit. A place can’t go wrong if it names one of its items the Bochy Burger, at least not within 200 miles of San Francisco. But I didn’t order that, instead getting a BBQ Chicken Pizza which went down (and stayed down) easily. And the cheesecake I had for dessert made for a fine accompli. All of this was washed down by a Firestone 805, for which the tap certainly did nothing to diminish.
About my only criticism would be of the house bread — our waitress offered it, then forgot to bring it, but when she did, it was rather dull. It’d been better in this case if it hadn’t been offered at all. Still, that’s a rather small thing. We shall return.

Just had a delivery for Mothers Day.
The garlic wings were tasty. Chicken parmigiana was decent.
BUT the lobster and shrimp fettuccine was a major disappointment!
Firstly, the noodles were thin spaghetti noodles just slightly larger than angel hair pasta. The sauce tasted super fishy and overwhelmed the shrimp and lobster. NOT a good experience! Still dealing with a nasty after taste. Ended up feeding it to my dogs. YUCK!

Pizza take out was done well
Mushroom and garlic was delicious and the plain cheese side was, «as good as bigboys» according to my 8yr old nephew. Perhaps next time we will eat there since it looked nice and we could catch some sports on tv.

I went to Ghiringhelli’s last night to commemorate Marin County legendary boxer Paul Nave, who just retired after 30 years. Hosts Mike and Olimpia Ghiringhelli spared no expense in providing their patio area decked out with all kind of delicious Appy’s for sponsors and supporters of our Champion, Paul; and it was all complimentary. You can’t beat that anywhere.
The bartenders upped their game for the night, and it may have been because of Paul, or because of Valentine’s Day, but you could taste the extra love they poured, all night long. The restaurant was full of diners as it is on Friday. That is because their menu abounds with so many scrumptious selections, and their servers are quick, attentive, accommodating, and just top-​notch in every way. I especially love their pasta and seafood, which is arguably the best in Novato, and their Artisan Pizzas, especially the Godfather, my personal favorite.
Paul Nave arrived just before 8pm and was extremely warm and gracious to those he knew, and even more so to his fans meeting him in person for the very first time. I was able to chat him up, take pictures, and he even gave me a special autograph. Truly a Champion in and out of the ring.
Leave it to Ghiringhelli’s to provide an opportunity to hang out with a hero, champion, and true son of Marin County in a warm, relaxed and «delicious» environment. I tip my hat to Mike and Olimpia

Yay for Happy Hour in Novato! Our favorite pizza place so far. Yummy salads as well! Usually a popular place — not the fastest service but always a good time. Casual and kid friendly!

Went here for pizza. This is thin pizza. Kind of pricey for the size. We ordered a Medium with 2 toppings, and it was $ 18. Uhhh! Ok…
Service was meh. Our waitress didn’t seem like she really wanted to be there. Understandable. In the background was music playing. Some people talking loudly at the bar. TVs on showing some game. A little bit of background sound chaos
Best story of the night, was there was some old white dude, with some much younger than him white lady wearing a very short dress. His hand creeping up her thighs for most of the night. Can we say… GROSS!!! Yeah, I left the joint, with that strange feeling.
Food was okay, enjoyed the garlic bread the most.
