Came here for my lunch break. I had a burger and it was amazing. Really enjoyed it. hope to keep coming back.

The food was good. I got a stuffed burger and wasn’t really impressed or disappointed. They give you a small cup of waffle fries which I wasn’t to happy about. You get more if you go to chick fil a. She got a turkey burger than she liked but asked for no onions and it came with it. Finally we got spinach and artichoke dip for an appetizer which we thought was good. Overall it was a decent place to eat after beer fest but won’t really be looking to return.

Sports bar atmosphere. Plenty of tv. Food is decent bar food. Staff a little undertrained and food came out slow.

No, no, no. We’ve been here before and have had pretty standard experiences but today was the worst and l very likely will never come back or recommend it to anyone. We were seated rather quickly – in the past, it’s been a long wait because like most people, we’ve come on a game day – but today was just a regular Saturday. My husband ordered a Dos Equis, I requested a water, and the spinach and artichoke dip. The beer took foreverrrr to make it to the table. like more than 8 minutes. So we’re snacking away and we give the server our order. I had recently eaten so I passed on an actual meal but my husband got the grilled chicken and avocado sandwich. My husband said he enjoyed the sandwich besides the fact that it kinda fell apart but that’s no one’s fault. A few sips into his beer he went ahead and ordered another one because of the lengthy wait on the first one. Good thing he did, because it took about another 10 minutes to get the second beer. Things went very south when my husband was finishing up his meal. The server(whom I will not name but if management wants to reach out, I’ll happily share) came to pick up some plates, so my husband goes to hand her the plate that his sandwich was served on. The server then instructs my husband to place his plate on another plate and to stack the appetizer plates on top of that. As he’s obeying her, she says«Dream work makes the team work». Um, excuse me? That phrase is typically used in the back of house, not for your customers. Again, I don’t mean to shove my serving experience in anyone’s face but I’m pretty sure you do not instruct your guests on how they should give their dishes back to you. I was visibly annoyed, I’m sure. Later on, the server checks on the table next to us, and as she’s walking past us, we ask for the bill. She turns around and laughs and says«ok» as if we weren’t interrupting her. It took about 12 minutes to get the bill, have her run the card, and return it back to us – all without a bill book which I thought was strange. I can be objective and say the food is above average chain food but when I eat out, I expect a dining experience. If I wanted to deal with dishes, I would eat at my own home. There’s way too many other choices in this area to deal with such poor service.

Food was great and more affordable than most other places. We ate here twice on our trip. The boneless wings, shrimp po’ boy, cookie sundae, and krispy kreme bread pudding were all very good. Our waitresses were friendly. I don’t understand why they have like 5 girls standing at the door though…

I love this place. My sister was in town this weekend and I brought her and her boyfriend here they both loved it. We had the hangover burger which is amazing! The mozzarella logs are great and the waffle cheese fries are my fav! Must try if your in town! Staff is friendly! Overall great place to watch any sport games and have some drinks!

We went in late on a Sat. evening. Waited on pretty quickly but had issues with our order. No mustard after specifically requesting it. Trouble with mixed drink hubby ordered. Instead of just saying they couldn’t make it they«winged it» and well it wasn’t very good. However onion string app was delicious and more than enough to share with 3 to 4 people. I think the food is probably consistent which is good even if service is a bit slow. Regular bar drinks are probably no problem especially when games at Dome are going on. Overall, we would probably go back if we are staying in the vicinity.

My hotel happens to be across the street from this place but I plan to come back a second time. I had the duck gumbo, homemade cheese sticks and Krispy Kreme bread pudding. Husband had the chicken fingers with waffle fries. Servings are large so plan accordingly. Waitresses are dressed like cheerleaders which I found a bit odd but pretty good food for a sports bar.

Both the food and the service here were amazing! Don’t believe the low star rating! We got the chicken salad with the berries, apples, etc. and it was to die for! We also got the shrimp tortilla wrap, which was unbelievable! The reason we actually went was for the Krispy Kreme bread pudding, which turned out to be only pretty good, but it was still yummy. I do highly recommend this place, though, and will certainly be back next time I’m in town!

If you are in a hurry stay away from this one. The hostesses were not friendly at all, acted as though we were bothering them. Took us 45 minutes to be seated due to the fact that they were understaffed. What restaurant, especially a sports bar in the middle of March Madness doesn’t have their place fully staffed? The Food Started off the meal with fried pickles. They were pretty tasty. They were not incredibly hot(temp) like most fried pickles that you get from everywhere else that you leave with a sore mouth because you could not wait to eat them. This should have been a pre-curser to what was to come. All of our food came out lukewarm at best. I had some waffle fries with my Boom Boom Shrimp PoBoy sandwich, the first two were warm and good but they got colder as I ate more. The soup that was brought was also lukewarm. My advice for what it is worth. Keep walking down the road. I spoke to two of the managers(after I paid for the food) and told them that they need to check the food coming out of the kitchen because it was coming out cold. They said they would but here is hoping. Could be a really neat place to dine. They need to retrain the wait staff, give happy juice to the hostesses and have the managers go to each of the tables and check on the patrons that are keeping them open. Just my thoughts

We went early on a Friday before the Pelicans game. It was busy, but there was no wait. The service, however, was terrible. We ordered some apps(alligator and shrimp) and some beers. While the alligator was good, the shrimp was not. And it took FOREVER for her to bring us our drinks. So my main problem was that our waitress was MIA for most of the night. I swear it took her 20 minutes to get waters for a table of 6 that was sitting next to us. I spent many years waiting tables, so I’m usually pretty understanding when it comes to servers, but there was no reason for her lack of attentiveness. I would think twice about going back there again.

Just another generic chain-like restaurant. We were excited to find this sports bar within walking distance of our apartment a few years ago, but disappointed every time we go. Food is average, only thing I would order regularly would be the waffle cheese fries(even though slightly over priced). Usually crowded when there’s an event going on nearby. Bar area and service there has always been fine. Problems arise at the front door… there have been a many occasions where we would walk in, never get acknowledged, and leave. If we ever do get seated, service was either decent or not.

Our server was Karion, excellent waitress she was so kind and very sweet. She seemed to really care about her customers(us) and she was able, though crowded and busy, to keep a conversation going with us– and by us I mean a table of 5, she maintained eye contact with each of us. Great service and she even wrote a thank you with a huge smile on the check! We came to watch the game and get a good bite to eat. My parents got the large waffle cheese fries and the devils on horseback. The other couple with us also got the devils on horseback. Very inexpensive and extremely good food, the hush puppies had jalapeños in them so I did not try them but I was told they were very sweet. I got the Uncle B’s chicken tenders, so good and they came with waffle fries and I got 2 honey mustard dipping sauces. There was so much food I should have asked for more. It is served with one but I needed two. Along with my tenders I got a side salad with sprite. For dessert I had the salted caramel cheesecake, and it was the best whipped cream I have ever had. I really recommend this sports bar if you are interested in a great atmosphere to watch the football game, get a good meal, and a beverage whether it is alcoholic or non-alcoholic. We sat in the bar area at a table, and while it was loud, it was not overbearingly loud– I could still hear our server and the people I sat with. There are many TVs everywhere you look, 5 that are sitting almost in front of me from every perspective, and those are just the ones I can see. There are many more.

Dismal. We had a terrible experience, and no one seemed to care. We came to Walk Ons after a Pelicans game the Wednesday before Christmas. There were 6 of us, we were able to get a table in the bar, and ordered drinks. Two of the drinks ordered were supposed to be vodka sodas… and I’m not sure what they put in there but they were NOT vodka sodas, maybe tonics instead? We had them replaced twice, then ordered something different, and put in for an order of fries. The waitress was picking up drinks RIGHTINFRONTOFOURTABLE from the bar, but never once turned to ask how we were doing. We NEVER got out fries, but the bus boy came over 3 times to ask if we’d gotten them. We assumed that he would check on the order and/or bring them out, but he did not. On his last stop at our table he said, «well, we’re closing soon, and I can’t go until you guys are gone so…» Um. Okay. We asked the bar for our check, the fries weren’t even on the bill, and left. While a couple of people went to the bathroom, one of the party spoke to a manager, who NOTONCE apologized for our experience. Won’t be coming back here, ever. I waited to cool off for this review and it still makes me upset, how could a restaurant have such awful customer service? That’s your JOB.

Really just had appetizers– they were ok. My issue was with the wait staff that had been cut from the floor eating and drinking at the bar, being a constant distraction to the wait staff that were supposed to be working. I watched two servers play with and fix– one of the servers who had been cut– hair then return to check on their tables while a manager walked by and never said a word to them.

We needed a spot to watch the NFL games on a Sunday morning following brunch. This was where we ended up. Lots of beers on tap, ample sizes on the food, and lots of TVs for game viewing. On the downside the Saints game was on about 80% of the TVs. That’s understandable I guess but there were 12 games going on and only about 4 were visible from any given spot.

Stopped in for a quick dinner one night and had a good time. Good food and drinks, kind of a fine line between sports pub with attractive staff in form fitting outfits and breastaurant, but people of both sexes seemed to be comfortable here. Had a really tasty catfish smothered with a crawfish etoufee, another occasion had a good burger. Walking distance from the hotel. Thumbs up.

I knew what i was getting into with this place. Its a Louisiana themed hybrid of Chili’s and Hooters. Having been to a Walk-Ons in Baton Rouge, I made peace with that concept. I was still pretty disappointed with my experience here. We went on a not particularly busy week night, and our waitress was pretty unavailable the whole time. She spoke several times of starting us off with some hushpuppies– we received them about 2⁄3 through our meal, which in itself took over 45 minutes to get to our table. We also sat at a table that had beer taps, but we were told it was out of order. Waiting for the check took another good 20 minutes. This place has been open for awhile, but there was still a general air of newness and lack of cohesion, as if they haven’t gotten their act together yet. Surprising especially for the fact that since this is a chain, there is already an established protocol to put in place to manage the restaurant.

Always way too packed with bros and basics. Food is okay and drinks are expensive. Service is always a little pretentious too like they are doing us, the patrons, a favor by pouring me a $ 8 beer. Thanks but no thanks

Came here to watch the Saints game on a Sunday afternoon. The bar was freezing cold and everyone was sitting in their coats which we had all worn despite the 80 degree heat because of torrential rain. So we were wet and cold. The management refused to turn down the air. Then a leak started from the ceiling and they had to get buckets out. Food was mediocre. Service was willing but ultimately not that great. I asked for milk for my coffee in an attempt to warm up and eventually someone returned with a mugful because they’d misunderstood. There were picnic blankets for sale at the front of the bar and no-one knew how much they were. Eventually I was allowed to borrow one to put across my knees. Ridiculously unresponsive management running a joke of a bar.

Walk on’s Bar After a good conference opening bash my fiancée and I had dinner at the Walk on bar as it was close to our hotel. With the MNF game on there was an aura of celebration in the air. I ordered the shrimp po’boy(3.5÷5) with the boom boom sauce. It was nicely spicy so I got the waitress to bring us some boom boom sauce for the waffle fries(3.5÷5)

I am giving this place two starts because I like the location in Baton Rouge. I have been hesitant on writing this review because i do like Walk-Ons. Here goes: After walking from the Westin Hotel to the dome, and we didn’t want to pay for snippets of food in Champion Square, we decided to go to Walk-On’s. I just knew the food would be good. I ordered the grilled chicken with broccoli and a side of corn grits. My friend had the fried catfish platter. The catfish platter was very good. The fish was fried to perfection. He enjoyed his food. Oh but my grilled chicken was good until I cut into the second piece of chicken and saw that it was raw. Yes I was about to eat raw chicken! The manager took care of the situation and replaced my order. I gave the new order to a homeless lady after we left. I don’t trust eating chicken from there any more.

This is the perfect place for watching a football game. It is walking distance from the Super Dome. I have watched the Saints game here on a couple of occasions. The atmosphere is great. Lots of fans, not only for the New Orleans Saints but for other teams as well. With the numerous televisions you can watch different games at the same time. You can cheer and yell and have as much game time enthusiasm as you like! To me the food is upscale bar food. I usually find something on the healthier side and it is always great! The boom boom shrimp are amazing. There is a good beer selection that comes super cold. The is also an upstairs you can watch the game, away from all the dining with a balcony. It’s a great spot!

I came here once after I moved here and didn’t know any better. The food, while good, is not great. It is a chain in a touristy area; that’s all. I do love bar food, but I’ve definitely had better and I can find it somewhere else in New Orleans. The service wasn’t bad, albeit slow. The only good thing about this place is the table beer taps. For the price, though, I’d rather someone else poor my beer and get way better food.

Walk-On’s reminds me of a T.G.I.Fridays on the West Coast, but more a sports themed environment. Our plans to attend the Jazz festival on a Sunday afternoon were spoiled by rain. Within walking distance from our hotel, my boys and I gave this place a try. When our party of three arrived, it wasn’t busy as I expected it be. We only waited for about five minutes and got a table. If you came the evening prior to the NBA playoff game, this place was packed and had wait times up to forty-five minutes or an hour. This establishment had multiple TVs, so no sport fan will be left unsatisfied! Once seated, our hostess gave us our menus and told us our server will be with us shortly. I looked over the menu and decided to get three items: — Louisiana Alligator — The Hangover Burger with waffle fries — Warm cookie sundae For the appetizer, the alligator didn’t taste gamy at all. Nicely charred and flavored. As a lot of people say, it does taste like chicken. For my main course, the hangover burger, is constructed similarly to my other favorite burger spots back home. Piled with two slices of american cheese, onions, pickles, shredded lettuce, beef patty, two strips of bacon, and a sunny side up egg. The waffle fries that accompanied were crispy and not soggy at all. And for dessert sundae. The small pie sized chocolate chip cookie was baked and served in a small pan, hence the cookie being warm. On top of the cookie was a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. A great tasting dessert to satisfy my cookie and ice cream craving. The service here was attentive and very friendly. A great place to hangout with the fellas, watching sports, and kicking back a few cold ones!

My friends and I sat around here for about two hours early on a Saturday afternoon. The most unique and awesome thing about this place is the beer on tap right at your high-top table. Just help yourself. The tap at my table was broken though and kept on counting ounces as if the tap were on the whole time. We ended up just paying by the glass. As a side note, the tap read 650 ounces by the time we left. That would have been 54 beers! The food was great. I ordered the equavalent of the bacon wrapped shrimp, although they were called something else. As an entrée, they were served on a bed of corn grits. I don’t know what that bed of corn grits was exactly, but it was good, and tasted like a mix between grits and corn pudding. The shrimp were huge! Shaved jalapeño came on top of them. I tried the fried alligator bites and they were great too.
