If the recently opened Lil Phil’s was named for the bite-sized, overpriced hamburgers that they are serving than I would have to say this place is on to something huge(much larger than the burgers they’re serving). My better judgment and common sense, leads me to believe otherwise. After receiving my order and realizing it was completely wrong, I brought it to their attention. I have to give them credit, they reacted appropriately and quickly corrected to what I had originally ordered. It wasn’t until I looked inside the to-go container when I realized this was going to be a problem. The pre-made(not made to order) overcooked burger that was sandwiched between a sloppily dressed, semi-frozen bun was a sight for sore eyes. I would soon find out that it would not taste very good either. A co-worker, who had a very similar experience just 15 minutes earlier, described it as «tasting like air». I was extremely disappointed because I had just handed over $ 11.00 of my hard earned income for this so called meal. I’ve had $.99 breakfast sandwiches that were bigger(and tastier) than what I can only assume was a Hamburger disguised in a Slider’s clothing. Beware before trying this place. I would recommend letting Lil Phil’s work out the kinks, assuming they are able to stay in business that long.

A QUALITYYETOVERPRICEDBURGERKIOSK in the Place St Charles food court. This is well-regarded Phil DeGruy’s newest location; and, like the others, it employs his«fill-it-out-yourself» order sheet. ITHAS A MORESTREAMLINEDCOUNTERMENU — including fewer toppings — compared to Phil’s other restaurants. But Lil Phil’s does offer turkey, veggie and grilled chicken options. Further there are 6 new signature burgers all priced at about $ 10 and include a side(from among a choice of 8) and beverage. MYPREFERENCEISSTILLTHECAMPSTLOCATION. I don’t know for sure(I’ll do my own weight analysis soon) but the burger at Lil Phil’s seems indeed lil’er, almost sliderish, and at $ 12 after-tax I’ll pass and head to the original Phil’s just 6 blocks away.
