Theos is among our favorite local pizza places– we get pizza here at least once a month. I’m very worried they lost an oven or a cook or their amazing pizza crust recipe. Everyone knows theos Classic, thin, crispy pie crust. We had a POTA supreme pizza yesterday and the crust was simply not the same… A lot thick and not crisp. I hope it was just a one time thing

Ordered a take out pizza and pretzel sticks from Theo’s. The employees at the counter were very friendly and polite; I just wish the pizza was better. I got a five topping large pizza and pretzel sticks. The pretzel sticks were ok but could have used more salt. The pizza was a real disappointment. I got pepperoni, mushrooms, minced garlic, spicy tomatoes, and olives, and it turned out shockingly bland. The tomatoes weren’t spicy at all, and even with a good amount of garlic and pepperoni, the whole thing was just generally flavorless. There’s no excuse for bland food in New Orleans, Theo’s! I wanted to like you but I don’t think I’ll be back.

One of the best chill places I’ve ever been! I ordered the meatball sandwich on wheat hoagie bread. This place is friendly and open to families and large parties. It’s less intimate so this is for a casual date.

This is a review for the restaurant’s food cart. It was on my campus the other day, so I went to check it out. They were serving pieces of cheese pizza and salads for $ 3 each. The pizza was sort of dry and the slices were really small for the price, and the salad was literally the smallest salad I have ever seen anyone serve. It was in a container that probably should’ve been used for dip. I don’t know if they get that the point of a food cart is to serve food cheaper than you would find it in a restaurant, not twice as much. They have less overhead, and you’re not getting the experience of being in a restaurant when you buy food from one. The food should also be great, and this stuff was just mediocre. I started thinking, where had I seen this Theo’s truck before? It was at the Endymion parade this year. Now, I’m all for restaurants making their money over Mardi Gras, and upping the prices for having to deal with the crazy situation. But ripping off local health science students and people at work, the same way you would a bunch of drunk parade goers? Just leave the truck at home, Theo’s.

Man, I just love Theo’s. I stopped in today for lunch with my son and was impressed by their beer list, friendly staff, Pac Man Machine, and of course the pizza. We ordered three — one for us to eat on location and we grabbed two large pies to bring to some friends. It was all delicious. The crust is perfect! I recommend the«Expert» with sun dried tomatoes versus the regular tomatoes which is what comes on the pizza. I hope you enjoy their craft beer selection and tasty homemade pizza as much as we do! Cheers y’all.

Interesting restaurant. Dimly lit, clean from what I could tell, clean restrooms. Parking in back, limited parking, entrance in front. Late teen-early twenties for most of the front counter employees who have the attitude that they are too good to actually work here, or pretty much anywhere. I have been here several times now and am just confused by the attitude. Order and pay at the counter, pick where you want to sit. The bacon blue cheese pizza today was good. The crust was the right amount of crispiness, as it always seems to be. A bit pricy for the service of the employees and quality of the pizza. Nothing to write home about, nothing to make me come back every day for.

Went in and was told to have a seat at the bar and a server would be back to take order as well as be able to order drinks. Waited and few minutes, meanwhile the line was getting extremely long. Eventually asked if the person who told us to sit would be back to take our order and was told no that we had to stand in line to order, which was now extremely long. Being aggravated just ordered a beer… Smh #customerservice

Excellent pizza, subs, salads, beer, etc. I’m never disappointed with the food here. I would be disappointed with the consistently slow service but I’ve come to expect the wait. Usually that alone would knock it down to three stars but they do have a MsPac-Man/Galaga video game so it most certainly helps to pass the time. The celebrity table markers also gives me ideas on what to watch on Netflix or what music to listen to while I’m waiting. Today it’s «X-Files». I also pass the time by writing this review. I had time to proofread it too. Food’s here! Happy Eating!

Most depressing pizza ever, indistinguishable from microwave in a box and possibly worse. Let’s just say«Theo» is probably of a certain tribal extraction, which would explain the unleavened crust. If I didn’t pay 13 with tip and desperate for sustenance it would have gone into the trash after the first bite. You’ve been warned.

Omg this is such a mellow spot! The“expert” was delicious! All the meats and the papers I added were fresh and flavorful. The highlight of the pizza was definitely the crust! Omg i will definitely return!

I’m always on the hunt for good pizza. And I found that in Theo’s. Reginellis has been a major fail lately so on one of my lazy I don’t feel like cooking nights I decided to try it out and picked up a large pepperoni. Initially I told myself I was only going to eat 2 slices, but that too turned into a complete disaster. Opening up that box and seeing that crispy pizza, two slices turned into three. Then four. Then five. Don’t judge me. Even my husband who CLAIMED he wasn’t hungry helped himself to the remaining slices. I think you get the point. Theo’s is the bizness and if your hesitant about trying them, don’t be.

My personal favorite local pizzeria in NOLA. The food and service is consistent at the Mid– City and Uptown locations. We enjoy the Greek salad with our pizza and cold beer.

The pizza is delicious, so are the salads, and they have a craft beer and boutique wines. But the service here is great. While it’s a low key but little bit upscale pizzza joint, the staff really do give a darn. If something isn’t completely to your satisfaction, you’ll get a quick, humble, response; and the problem will be fixed.

Expect a remarkable pizza and nothing short of it. Coming here over the years, I have never been let down by anything I’ve had. Granted, i’ve only sat inside to eat once, i just feel that pizza is something to take back to the house and throw on a good movie to accompany it. Be warned, Theo’s has zero parking alloted so try to catch a spot on the street(good luck) or hopefully you’re in the neighborhood, in which case you should just walk it or ride a bike. They also do not deliver which I think is odd for a pizza joint not to. But about the za, i’ve had their plain cheese, and the pepperoni, both incredibly delicious. Today I ordered for the first time the eccentric which comes on a crispy, thin crust topped with olive oil, garlic, spinach, feta cheese, pepperjack, mozzarella, chicken, jalapeño, yellow squash, spicy tomato and anaheim peppers. I took off one star because of the lack of parking situation which had me circling the block a few times before someone left from in front, and the fact they don’t deliver. Still good pizza tho.

I just dont get this place. People always like this place and the pizza is always considered some of the best in the city. i just dont get it. i have had it 5 times i bet and never liked it. always tastes over cooked to me. i just dont like it. too thin; no crust; average toppings.(toppings are diced which to me means they arent good). i just dont like theo’s. you can go and hangout and get some beers but there are always little kids running around so you can only have so much fun. i just dont get it.

For the nearly ten years I lived in New Orleans, it as a city full of bad pizza and bad burgers; today it has its fair share of good outlets for both, and is the birthplace of one of America’s fastest growing pizza chains(which is awful, and I won’t bother to stop by and review). In fact, my favorite pizza during my tenure was served at a local seafood restaurant in the ‘burbs. Today’s occasion for venturing out in mid city was to grab a light repast within walking distance of BurgerDogDaughter’s domicile, and we sauntered into Theo’s, a local mini-chain for pies and craft beers. Despite rather conventional ingredients and standard Baker’s Pride decks, Theo’s manages to churn out some really tasty pies; my daughter, knowing me as she does, ordered me a meat and olive combination. Her choice was the«Arti-Garlic», which featured fresh garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, feta, peppers and mozzarella. For a meat-centric guy like me, that was one good pie! As was the meat one. Mild sauce, chewy /crispy crust, tasty pork products. They close rather early as pizzerias go. Worth a stop in the Big Easy

Since I just reviewed the Elmwood location and the Uptown location is one of my go to places for pizza, I realized that I never reviewed the mid-city location. Theo’s is a solid thin crust American style pizza. The toppings are interesting and of good quality. This location is spacious and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The specials are usually yummy and the pricing for adult beverages is good.

Theo’s is one of my favorite places to get pizza in New Orleans. It’s always a close call between Theo’s and Rotolo’s whenever we have a pizza craving. First off, their bacon, blue and spinach salad is AMAZING!!! My boyfriend doesn’t really care for salad that much but he loves this one and will split it with me every time. Secondly, my favorite pizzas so far are the eccentric, the West Bank special and the jammin. I’m sure there are more potential favorites on the menu but those are just the ones I have tried so far. The pizza is crispy and thin. I love thin crust but I hate when the toppings are scarce. Unless I’m in the mood for a simple pepperoni pizza or something, I like the whole pizza to be covered with toppings. Theo’s so far has done a pretty good job of that. Thirdly, the stuffed cheesy bread is NOT what you would expect and here is where I think Rotolo’s does a better job. The stuffed cheesy bread is just a dinner bread roll with exactly 2 jalapeños on top and lightly sprinkled with Parmesan. I know sometimes simple is better but it just didn’t do it for me(of course, if you have ever had cheesy bread at Rotolo’s than you know why I’m spoiled on this one– it’s pretty incredible). However, their fabulous beer and wine selection will always trump their lack of creativity on their cheesy bread in my book. Pro: thin crust pizza, outdoor seating, great beer and wine variety, fun and casual atmosphere. Con: parking in mid city can be tricky and inconvenient. Also, you have to serve yourself for the most part but the servers will assist you if they aren’t too busy. The servers are always so busy busing tables that you may have to just go straight up to the bar to get another round of beer, etc. I don’t really mind this but if your big on service than this could be irritating for you.
