Great place. Quick service. Fish and chips were crisp, fresh, hot and delicious. There weren’t too many people eating and sometimes the kitchen can let their guard down in these situations. But not The Burning Bush… really surprised at the quality of the food. My only draw back is the variety… not much selection. However, I would rather do a few things right than many things half ass.

What a gem! Tucked away in The Holy Ground Pub, it makes a mean meal! While the selection is small, they do what they do well with superb service. P. S. The fries are freakin amazing

We wanted a casual place before a concert, so stopped in for a pint(or two) and some Irish Grub. Ordered in the back window the daily special of hangar steak with chimichurri and fries and the fish and chips. The steak was perfectly cooked and chimichurri a nice touch. Fish and chips were some of the best we had had since London. Not greasy at all, flaky cod with a dill based tartar that was awesome with the chips. Chef Emily rocked this simple but perfect fare. We will be back! Oh, the bill was less than the Dominos order we made for our kids before we left the house. That’s for steak and good fish, folks!

BLUF: Food and service was great. I will definitely go again and try something else; either from the irish side of the menu or the american side. The Holy Ground(divish bar) has a small irish kitchen in the back called The Burning Bush. It is great. Half the menu is traditional irish food and the other half is typical american food(burgers, chicken fingers). From the looks around me at the bar everyone was eating Irish. First off you order in the back and they bring out the food. Their staff was really nice and helped me decide which of the irish dishes to have(I have had them all in my life but didnt know which they did the best). They recommended the irish chicken curry. I went at sat at the bar and got a Guinness which might be my favorite beer. They do a perfect poor here. The curry came super quick and was crazy hot. Had to let is sit awhile. It was really really good. This is going to sound weird but you can taste the irish in the curry. I dont know what i mean but i really liked it and that is all that matters. It is served with nan(that indian bread stuff) which was also really good. I live really close and will go back frequently and try all the other stuff. i really like this place. I love eating in a bar.
