Definitely one of the best Po’boys I had in New Orleans. Price was right and so was quality.

In continuing my quest to map out and rate New Orleans deli’s I will continue with Sunrise.
The place is sparse, friendly, and sort of nondescript. The reason to come, of course, is the amazingly affordable po-​boys! I don’t have the exact pricing on me, but it’s in the range of under $ 5 for catfish and closer to $ 6 for shrimp, but they are every bit as good as most $ 9-​$ 10 po-​boys around and for that reason this place gets an easy 4 stars.
Definitely stop in if you’re in the neighborhood.
