Had the same issue as a couple other reviewers. After using spruce for about a year, one of my shirts came back with a hole in it and another came back with a burn mark. They did not say anything abut it when I picked up the shirts. I will not be going back.

I had been going to this place for about a year until I picked up my last batch of dry cleaning the other day… 2 of my shirts came back with holes in them. Not just small holes. but about the size of half dollar. It looked like it had been caught in a machine or something. Anyways, I called the place and told them about it and the guy that runs the place said the holes were already there and hung up on me. I would definitely NOT recommend this place to ANYONE… unless you are trying to get rid of your clothes.

Excellent cleaner that many locals call«the best»! They go above and beyond and they’re open on a Saturday!

I’ve been going to Spruce for about a year now and finally decided that its time to go somewhere else. This is due to the fact that in the last year, four of my shirts have come back with holes in them. Always the same size. Always in the same place. The old guy who runs the place tries to say that they are normal wear and tear but these shirts have all been less than a couple months old when the holes happened. He will sew them up and try to charge but I’ve been able to argue with him and get them sewed for free. However, the holes shouldn’t be happening in the first place. Time to look for somewhere new.

Open on Saturday afternoons? Can pay using plastic? Can park across the street in a free lot? No spangles missing from skirt? No petrochemical scent oozing from clothes? Prompt, hassle-free service? By all means, it’s a go.
