Ugh, very unpleasant experience last night. I’m sick so my husband ordered delivery from here. Their delivery map is on their website and they strictly adhere to it. We live on a street that spans both sides of Claiborne and initially the staffer told us we wouldn’t be able to get delivery but my husband explained where we were on the map. Anyways, he ordered the white pizza pie and was told that it’d be an hour. Kinda a long time in my opinion but whatever. So, at about an hour and ten minutes, I’m feeling the hunger pangs so we call to check in on it and the staffer very frantically tells my husband that the pizza has been made but when she closed out our order, she got an error message that deleted all of our info, that she attempted to call everyone in her recent orders but couldn’t get in touch with us!!! Whaaaaaaa?!! Ughhhhh. She did offer us a dessert or an app but I prompted my husband to ask for a bill adjustment which the staffer said she could not do which was kinda disappointing. She did send us an order of cheese sticks and a can of coke. When the delivery arrived, the driver admitted that the pizza was not as hot as it normally would be. We appreciated his honesty but weren’t very pleased. As for the taste, I don’t know if it was because it was cold or been sitting out for some time, but I did not enjoy the pizza or the cheese sticks at all. Maybe it will taste better as left overs today. And yes, while I could’ve heated it up in the oven, that’s not something I look forward to doing when ordering take out. I’m not sure that I will continue to give them any more business… and I def won’t count on them for delivery.

This is the goto pizza spot for my sweetie and I. I try try try to get something different everytime I come, and I usually do, but one of the 2 slices I get is always the HAPP. Get it, I am sure you will like it. Sometimes the service is ULTRASLOW. All the way around. Like taking order to dropping off the bill. That can happen 1 out of 6 times. The rest of the time its fast. The beer selection is good too. The crowd is very very mixed. I have been here for the little league team of boys and the drunk douchebag frat boys, but that is just background noise for me. The food is always on point. Though one day I plan on getting a BBQ shrimp poboy… and a slice of HAPP.

Food, as always, was great. Service left a lot to be desired. Our server visited us three times.(Order, deliver food, deliver check) our drinks were only refilled when we got up and asked someone to do so. We waited an additional 5 minutes after the meal was delivered for us to receive silverware.(Nothing worse than seeing great food and not being able to eat it) After driving 12 hours to New Orleans and choosing this establishment to bring our out of town guests… it wasn’t the experience we hoped for. If you want to try slice, do yourself a favor and order a pizza to go.

The best neighborhood pizza joint in New Orleans. The BBQ shrimp app is amazing… I wish I could get the recipe for that sauce. Crunchy thin crust pizza :)mmmm and I love that their salads and pastas come in half portions too!

Called in a pizza pickup. Wonderful options… got large half Sportsman’s Paradise/Muffaletta. Loved having some fun choices unlike the normal chain pizza places. Guy at the bar was very nice and the pizza was delicious!

We have been here for 20 minutes no one came to our table. Once the waiter came all was good until our drinks were empty. I had to leave the table and go to the waiter and then he asked me to hold on, he was busy… okay after a few minutes he took my order and then he brought the drinks 5 minutes later… and then 20 minutes waiting on the check and yes. we are still waiting. No tip for you buddy sorry.

Pizza was absolutely amazing! I had 3 different kinds but the deluxe which is basically a supreme anywhere else was my favorite! The service was good despite some other reviews I’ve read. The ambience was good as well. I would definitely go back!

As usual the food was excellent, but our server was not able to remember our order correctly, thus forgetting several items, including my child’s meal. Perhaps more training before attempting to NOT write down the orders would help. Not to forget that, of all the tv’s here, they did NOT have the LSU/Alabama game on!

I’ve been to both Slice locations and while I prefer the interior of the Magazine St. Location more, the pizza and ambience in both places is amazing. Their white pizza is the best I’ve ever had and their service is always great. Highly recommend to anyone, pizza fan or not(their other menu items are quite delicious as well). I hope they open a kenner or Metairie location someday soon.

Great service! I LOVE their pizza despite that some people think its too greasy but thats best part! The sauce is great the cheese is perfect and they’re always generous with the pepperoni. I love that they do pizza by the slice unlike some places in the area.

Since it was still warm for the season, I sat out on their patio. It was a relaxing Friday afternoon and I was pleasantly greeted by Erin. She was VERY cool and had all sorts of good news: both mussels and white sangria were half off, simply because it’s Friday. Woohoo! These happy hour specials did not disappoint! The white sangria was fruity, semi-sweet, light and refreshing. It was accompanied by slices of strawberry, lemon and orange. Although«white» sangria, it was the palest pink. Regular price: $ 5.50 The mussels were served in a delicious Pinot Grigio tomato basil broth with lots of yummy garlic. It was accompanied by garlic crostini rounds. Regular price: $ 11. Sitting on the patio was nice since I got to people-watch and enjoy a lazy afternoon. This is a cool place to come solo or with friends. Next time, I’ll have pizza. After all, it is named SLICE! :-)

Pizza is great and the service is good, too. They burnt the bottom of our pizza once but it was still delicious. Obviously it was an accident so of course I’ll be back!

A slice of Margarita with artichokes, a slice of BBG with artichokes and an undressed BBQ shrimp poboy. Amazing! Best pizza ever! Great waitress named Erin, fast service. I can’t say enough positive things about this place!

Such a friendly staff. The bartender was funny and friendly, making sure everything was taken care of,. I did sit at the bar. After my appetizer of goat cheese and pepper jelly, which I recommend, I was ready for the main course. Tonight, I decided upon the special. Bacon and chicken with a creamy spinach and cheese ravioli. Ssssssoooooooooo good. I cleaned my plate entirely too quickly. I would recommend this place ti anyone looking for good food in a pleasant atmosphere.

Pizza is delicious. I like it here more than other joints around the city but the only thing that I wasn’t TOO fond about was the service. Waiter looked very unethused and was never around. They stuck us all the way in the back when the whole restaurant had maybe 4 tables full. What I do recommend: –the bloody mary!!! they totally put marinara sauce in it to add to the«tomato» component and they also add the red peppers(the kind that you sprinkle on pizza) to add to the spice component of the drink. What a neat little twist, especially since this is a pizza place! –all the pizzas we had were delicious! we tried 5 types(a slice of each) –Caesar salad(full) was shared as an appetizer between the man friend and I, but he devoured most of it If you want good, thin, crispy yet filling pizza that hits the taste buds just right, stop in!

Never been impressed with this place but last time might have sealed the deal. Came here with a friend the other night and ordered bruschetta and caprese salad. The bruschetta seemed like it was made with canned tomatoes and just sprinkled with cheese. It was tasteless and disappointing. The caprese salad I am usually really happy with but they were the smallest slices of mozzarella i have ever seen. Didn’t even come close to the tomato slices. So disappointing…

This is The Best pizza in town with no close competition. I like both locations, depends on what I am doing that day and where I am. They have a lot of topping options. I like to «make my own» and make a meatball pizza. Yummmmy!!! The crust is very different from most crust as it’s part cornmeal so you get a thinner, crispier crust. Their sauces are fantastic too — not too salty like so many in town. They also have a good by-the-glass wine list and a full bar.

WESTMAGAZINESTREET Our first visit past Jefferson Street and the parking scenario is no different. A Jazzy Pass on Bus #11 is not such a bad alternative to avoid the parking dilemma that is further exacerbated by the massive and prolonged Jefferson Street construction. Very friendly pizzeria and the bar menu offers all sorts of drinks at most tempting values. It’s more than just pizzas. In fact Yu-go wanted to come here to try their BBQ Shrimp Po-Boy. Except for a bar drink, we ordered the following to share for lunch: Mesclun Salad: Petite greens, goat cheese, pecans, seasonal fruit was stawberries and blueberries(half order) … dressing was refreshingly tangy … could have eaten a full order. By the slice D-Luxe: pepperoni, sausage, meatball, onion, mushroom, prppers, green and ripe olives, extra cheese … re-heated in the oven to a toasty crispy thin slice heavily topped and an enjoyable eating experience. BBQ Shrimp Po-Boy: Slice’s signature starter on hot garlic bread, dressed with lettuce and tomato. Gulf caught shrimp in a fresh herb, Louisiana hot sauce, lemon and Worcheshire reduction … changes my attitude of what a perfect Po-Boy should be all about.

I ordered a pizza yet again chosen by pictures from Unilocal!Living in Mid City, we don’t have Slice as an option so it’s either a special trip or ‘just-so-happens’ that I’m in the area and pay them a visit, the ladder being the reason. I thought when I placed my order that I was speaking with the St. Charles location, thankfully upon finishing my order, it was clarified over the phone it would be ready at the Magazine shop. No problem. Good practice. I went with a large BBG(bacon, basil, garlic) which was really good, i liked it a lot but I think a whole pizza of it is a bit much. They really load it up with a lot of toppings and it can make the crust a bit soggy, but it still stays in tact. I wouldn’t mind my crust being slightly crispier, but for this being my first time, it wasn’t bad. I’ll definitely be stopping back in this place in the near future, i’ve seen a lot of other tasty looking menu items I’d like to try, however I’ll be sure to make that St. Charles appearance as initially intended.
