Angela is absolutely amazing. Her massage was so good that I came back a few days later for another one! Very strong and very deep work. She was also a total sweetheart, very nice, and she checked in with me often to see if the pressure was ok(since it was a LOT, lol) I am kind of a massage snob since I get so much bodywork all the time, so it takes good work to get my seal of approval, and she definitely got it, easily! I will definitely come back to her when I’m in NOLA again. Thank you Angela, you’re an angel. Xoxo

New Years Eve and The Sugar Bowl did a number on my feet. A 30 minute foot massage with one of their techs and I feel like a new person. Best decision I’ve made in 3 days.

Nice body massage, so it’s not you’re typical spa type massage, after a morning jog, stopped in, you keep your clothes on, they apply great pressure and really relaxed my back, shoulders and neck, only $ 36 for 30 minutes, well worth it! My husband got foot massage, he was happy too!

They are at 212 Chartres St not 201 Chartres St. «Cindy» gave a 30 minute foot massage for $ 36. I tipped $ 6. I was the only customer there. Service was good. I liked the soothing music that was played in the background. It felt good after walking 2 days in the French Quarter. Cindy did a great job. She didn’t talk much so I am not sure how much english she speaks. She did receive a very short cell phone call during my foot massage. I liked the hot towel that she applied at the end.

I love this place! Inexpensive and great!!! Went in for a foot massage the first time I hit New Orleans and have returned time and time again. Each time I get a therapist that is experienced and uses just the right amount of pressure.

I stayed in an AirBnB on my trip to New Orleans and the bed in the accommodation obliterated my back to the point that it hurt to laugh, sneeze or turn left & right. It got considerably worse on the day we were leaving so my brother suggested going to «one of the Asian people who have been bothering you since you got here.» My brother has quite a way with words, right? He was sort of right because as you walk up and down Canal Street there are a number of Asian massage places that offer reflexology and body massages. Every time you walked by, they would say, «Come in for a massage?» Every. Single. Time. It wasn’t a bother really but not something I was used to. Anywho, I went to Relax Spot as it was 7 steps away from where I was staying and they offered a 20 minute massage for $ 24. Not a bad deal at all so I went in hoping to get this pain alleviated. It had a bit of a smokey smell to the place but not where it was so apparent. Honestly, I didn’t recognize it until my brother pointed it out. My masseuse was a polite Asian lady who spoke little English but fully understood that I needed my back worked on. She did a great job because I was able to get off her table without wincing in pain. She gets extra points for that. If I were in the area, I would head back there. It was very clean and their off the main street so they don’t get as much foot traffic as the locations on Canal Street. I’m all for helping folks out when I can when they do good work! These guys did great work so stop in to Relax Spot to get any knots, aches or pains rubbed out.

Watch out for this place. The placard outside says $ 24 for a 20 minute foot massage but when you get inside and they already have lotion on you and are massaging you they ask you how many minutes you want(even though they asked when you walked in and you told them). When you say 20 for $ 24 they point you to their menu inside which doesn’t have that option on it. The inside menu only says 30 minutes for $ 36. It’s hard to argue or go back and look at the placard outside, where you saw the rate, with lotion already on your feet, so most people, like me, end up giving in. Despite the scam, I would have rated this place higher except I didn’t really enjoy the massage that much. My masseuse’s nails were long and kept digging into my feet. She also seemed tired and massaged the same parts over and over in a rough and unpleasant manner. This business has another massage parlor on Canal so be warned.

At first we were skeptical, but then once our foot massage started, we were overwhelmed with bliss. If you need a massage, this is your place.

Fabulous. Omg. Reflexology heaven. We had a 30 min session and will be back everyday while we are in New Orleans. The nicest thing is that unlike the other foot massage venues I have seen, this is small and more private. The two folks who worked on us were awesome.

Thanks to the other reviewers I made my way here this morning. I wrenched my lower back a few weeks ago and it was healing. But after a rough bumpy plane ride and lugging bags thru the airport, the pain was back and then some. My masseuse focused on the lower back as I asked. Started lighter but continued to add pressure. What a great job. Go here!

Hands down, the best massage I’ve ever had and I’ve tried several hundreds from home and travel alike. We found this place by chance while on vacation and the wifey and I decided to get a quick 30 minutes for $ 36 each. Why not? The middle age male masseuse started on me with an obvious experienced hand and got to work instantly with constant increasing weight hitting my vital pressure points until he reached my high pain threshold without me saying a word! He worked my entire upper, middle, and lower back repeatedly for FIVE times until most of my knots were pummeled to submission. He even had time to work on my thighs and calves, arms and forearms, and back of my neck, all in 35 minutes! During the entire session, I had to hold myself from moaning like a woman reaching multiple orgasms because it was simply that good! I’m still not sure how he was able to make me feel so refreshed in half an hour better than all of my other 90 minutes sessions. Perhaps it’s his vast experience and true knowledge of the art, it was simply amazing and made it the highlight of my visit to New Orleans French Quarters.

I am at Relax Spot all. the. time. I’m a very active person; I take epic walks all over New Orleans, dance, exercise, and wear high heels almost every night, and I cannot express to you how amazing it feels to have someone concentrate an entire half hour(or more) on your feet! The staff is predominantly ladies, but they don’t skimp on the pressure. I’ve never gotten a «relaxing» spa-like massage here; they get down to business. It hurts so good! Pleasantly uncomfortable, you’ll leave with your feet and lower legs feeling like jelly(but in a reallllly good way). The prices are comparable to all the other massage places in the quarter, but I find this spot to be cleaner and the ladies aren’t pushy like some of the other locations… I’m not a fan of being harassed into a massage…(Although they will most likely ask you to upgrade for«10 more minutes», but hey, that’s their business model and most people are easily convinced ;).) I’d also like to give them props because I had knee surgery in December and would come here on crutches and in a brace. The massages definitely helped reduce the constant swelling and pain in my lower leg and foot, and the ladies were always very careful and gentle when tending to my injured leg.
