Coffee is good and the service is good but they don’t proof their pastries right! Their pastries look awful! That’s not what a spinach and feta croissant is supposed to look like!

BLUF: They sell coffee. They are less crowded than other chains. They are a chain. I would go there only if I need coffee and dont have time to enjoy my coffee shop. Coffee is fine.

Love this pj’s! It can be a little tough with some small coffee places to get the same drink every time you order the same drink, but I have the best luck here. Staff is friendly and chatty, nice little set up inside if you want to munch on something while sipping your coffee, and it’s connected to a FedEx store which just opens up all sorts of conveniences. And it’s SONICE to have a coffee shop with a big parking lot to access instead of searching for side street parking somewhere! They have a bike rack out front and a few tables outside too.

I’ve never really had much love for PJ’s and have voiced such on reviews for several other locations. So, I think it is only fair to write a non-negative review about the one location that I’ve visited that I actually find tolerable. In my experience, the service at this location is pretty consistently friendly, unlike other locations where it is very hit or miss. I also feel like they make my drink better here than the other locations.(Triple shot iced latte in a medium cup, no sweetener.) But the real reason I’m partial to this location is because it’s where I finally broke down and tried one of their Granitas. Hello, love. I’ve got a thing for frozen café au laits, and that’s pretty much what a Granita is. So, PJ’s is now on my list of places to hit up when it’s sweltering outside and I have a craving for one of these delicious frozen concoctions.(I assume they are equally delicious at all locations since they come from a daiquiri machine, but I’ve only had one here thus far.) Side note: this location is right next to FedEx office… there is even a door inside FedEx that directly opens into PJ’s. Makes it extra convenient to pop in to pick up a quick print job on my way to the office and grab a coffee on the way out. Win-win.

Stopped here for a quick iced coffee to go on an early Saturday morning. It’s located in a strip mall off Tchoupitoulas and if you come on a busy day, good luck parking! Service was friendly and quick. And my iced coffee was good. Only thing I found a little odd was all the random nicknacks for sale which I thought came off a little cheesy. Costume jewelry and candles? Totally takes away from the brand. I think they should focus more on selling items with the PJ’s Coffee logo on it. The random items just cheapen the location. Aside from that observation, I would come back.

This PJ’s is small and kind of tucked away in the corner of the strip mall. They have all sorts of interesting in nick knacks and such for sale which are fun to look at while you wait to order. One if the things I like most about this spot — though it is small there is typically an open table or two! Good alternative to the CC’s Community Coffee house on Jefferson and Magazine where it is asses to elbows! People working here are friendly. Just FYI they don’t take Discover. Get an iced coffee!

This is a weird PJs. Why are there so many things for sale? The counters are littered with jewelry and touristy displays. My iced tea was fine. But my cookie? It tasted pre-packaged and yucky. Staff is courteous to indifferent like most coffee shops. Not my first choice unless I’m hitting up another spot in the strip mall.

What’s handy about this location is the fact you can park right in front without fear of parallel parking or parking tickets. It’s also a great place to cool your jets while waiting rush job at the FedEx location next door or needing something cold to drink post-Petco.

A little coffee shop in a large shopping mall. Great place to get a pick me up or some frozen coffee. The Tchoupitoulas St. Mall has so many places to shop that you are bound to make a visit. And when you do this place is the place to go if you need a coffee fix. There is a dessert cabinet that you should not look at near the register. I have been tempted a few times but I was able to leave the place with just coffee. The selections in the cabinet look so good and tasty that they have to be bad for you. At least bad for your waist line but not your taste buds. Every visit has been with very friendly servers and that is nice. Room to drink and read or work on your computer. It has never been crowded on my visits and that is another nice feature for me.

When one is done with a workout further down the strip mall, one can then hit up this very PJs for big iced coffee which one can drink black because it *is* that smooth. No sugar. workout high+caffeine high+chilly blast= #meggafuckinbliss.

A nice little PJ’s located on Tchoupitoulas in a strip mall. It’s quaint and the atmosphere is nice and they do nice business, since they are right next to a grocery store. It’s nothing overly special, but it’s a nice location close to the Uptown neighborhoods.

This location is close to work and more convenient when I am short on time in the morning. I only order drip coffee, as every time I’ve ordered anything else at PJ’s it tends to be overkill– the s’mores mocha special they had tasted strange and had graham cracker in it that quickly got soggy, broke down and I was drinking liquified graham cracker. The regular mocha had a few too many pumps of chocolate in it. So, when I go to PJ’s, I stick to drip coffee and that’s it, usually dark roast. The pastry selection is pretty good, and the ‘Yesterday’s Pastries’ bin for $ 1 is a deal.

It’s a PJ’s, therefore I am a fan. They make the best iced mochas in the city, and New Orleans almost certainly makes the best iced mochas in the world, given the climate. So you pretty much can’t go wrong.(Although I maintain my position that the one on Maple Street makes the best iced mochas. And no, I have no idea why.) Located in an Uptown strip mall, this PJ’s is conveniently tucked away into a little corner and is perfect if you need a quick caffeine jolt to prepare you for some shopping. Or help you recover as the case may be. They’ve got tables out front, and the staff is super nice. Since it’s Uptown and thus highly inconvenient to my house, I don’t frequent this location very often. I wouldn’t say it’s worth driving across town for. But I’m always glad that it’s there when I happen to be around!

I like how every PJ’s in town is different, and this one is a little hidden gem. I was a regular here, stopping in to get my morning caffeine fuel before work. I’m totally one of those complicated coffee orders that is probably fairly annoying, but after just a few visits, the morning crew knew exactly what I order and handle my pre-coffee grogginess exceptionally well. I just have to hold back on the stars bc it’s the only PJ’s I’ve come across that does NOT carry the sausage n cheese stuffed biscuits. Or should I give it more stars for them not carrying these and keeping me from having a heart attack and weighing 300lbs, bc I’d eat those every day.

One of the smaller PJ’s there are, but the best one in town as far as service and Granita are concerned. THE best morning crew in town: efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, and skilled, you can’t do better than that. People drive from all over the city to come to this tiny café attached to a Kinko’s for just that reason.
