Being from Jersey, it’s hard to find great pizza outside of the Tri-State area, but Pizza Consegna did it. Yum!

Very different pizza as compared to Dominos or Pizza hut! We had the veggie pizza. Loved it!

I am a fan because I am lazy. So when I forget to pack lunch and want to order lunch this is now a new go to for me since I work(and they deliver) in the CBD, for free. I have no problem with NOLA Food Delivery or Jimmy Johns who charge a fee, obviously there are costs associated with expanding this business model but not having a fee does engender me to Pizza Consegna. I also loved that the pizza’s are huge. Like the 12 inch is not a personal size it is like a medium(yeah lunch for dinner) and the 18 inch we won’t even discuss. Gynormous. Now the taste, this was a good pizza but it was barely warm which was due to a good sized delay in getting the thing. Maybe as delivery times go, I am getting what I pay, or don’t pay, for. I definitely feel if I had the very same pizza delivered to my house where I could put it in the stove. Other than that they have great topping choices for the basic of the foo foo. The crust was soft where it was supposed to be. The sauce was slightly sweet which is perfect for me because it balances out the salty meats and cheeses. Overall a good standard pizza as far as I am concerned, reasonably priced for the size, just a little cold and a little later than I would have like,

If you’re staying at the Hyatt Regency, then you’re in luck because Pizza Consegna will do pool side deliveries right to your cabana. When you’re having a fun day at the pool, it’s nice to not have to leave the pool to go feed your rumbling stomach, OR to have expensive room service delivered instead. It’s not the best pizza that you’ll ever have, but for the convenience and price alone, I’m a fan. Would definitely order this again next time I stay at the Hyatt in NOLA.

Delivered as ordered and 12 minutes early. A bit greasy but otherwise delicious and under $ 15 for a pretty damn big 18″ pie with organic mozzarella, basil, olive salad, and pepperoni. Delivery chick offered excellent service and I’m happy.

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency this past weekend and were told that you could order your pizza ahead of time and have it at your door when you return. Figuring we’d be out in the french quarter drinking my girlfriend and I thought it would be a great opportunity to have some food waiting for us when we got back. We placed the order around 6pm to be delivered at 1130pm(the latest they offered). I called back to make sure it would be delivered to the room and we didn’t have to pick it up and were told they had our order and it would be outside our door at 1130pm. We got back to our hotel later that night and there was no pizza, no note, no receipt. Since Pizza Consegna was closed I called the front desk at the Hyatt and they told me they had no record of it being charged to our room or any order of the kind. What the heck kind of business are they running?

For some reason, it was $ 8 cheaper to have the pizza delivered to the hotel room instead of picking it up downstairs, so after browsing the menu, we went back upstairs and called in our order. They said it would take about 30 minutes. An hour later, we still didn’t have our pizza, so we called again. They couldn’t find our order & said it was never made but would put it in and deliver in half an hour. It finally came an hour and a half later. We ordered pepperoni & sausage but instead of putting both toppings all over the pizza, they made it half and half. It was a disappointing experience all the way around.

Quick delivery, organic ingredients and pretty close to your basic New York slice. It’s not on the artisanal tip, like Domenica for example, but way, way above the generic chains like Dominos and Pizza Hut. As a Manhattan transplant to NOLA, I’m relieved to be able to get a basic New York pie.
