Came here after we didn’t wanna pay the $ 5 cover at club bourbon heat. No cover here. Seemed at first like it was a band but then was actually a dj playing fun dance music and just hyping up the crowd. Beware the shot girls. I mean they just trying to pay the rent but those sugary nasty drinks have almost no alcohol and are crazy expensive. Other than them it was a fun place to dance. But I’m getting too old for this type of thing. At least it was fun music with words that you can sing along to not. Makes you dance and smile while remembering parties of the past.

Okay basically this place is a dive bar with pricey drinks and awful entertainment. Maybe we went on an off night when the right band wasn’t playing since there was only one bad female singer trying to rap to bad hip hop. She made a few negative comments while she was on stage with her microphone. If you are an attractive female you will need to prepare yourself for the non-​sense. Photos will be added.

I was walking by and heard GREAT live music coming from the place, so I went in. There was no cover charge, the music was lively, and people were listening and dancing and having a great time. I didn’t drink anything, so have no comment on the food or drinks.

This chick at the bar is the worst!!! None of the drinks have alcohol in them! They are super sweet! Worst service ever she’s had an attitude the whole time!!! Grrrrrrr

Very fun bar. Great staff, great atmosphere. The black entertainer guy is freaking INCREDIBLE. Unfortunately I won’t be back due to the $ 7/​beer nonsense. Completely ridiculous. I can buy a 6 pack for less money.

Fun, laid back environment during the day when they have someone playing acoustically. At night gets very busy. More expensive place to drink because their «3 for 1s» really aren’t. You’ll pay about $ 13 for a red bull vodka that’s a smaller size. Much better places to get cheaper drinks and then bring them in here. Bathrooms are bad. Tip the musicians!

We stopped in here, during French Quarter Fest, to get the lay of the land and to see the friend of a friend.
First of all, the place was pretty empty, so I got to see how big it really is. There’s a front bar area with a stage and a huge dance floor. In the back, there is a wide open space with another bar. It wasn’t functioning on the night we stopped in, but I can imagine that on packed nights both bars are put to work.
The man performing on stage was really good, especially considering we were in here on a Thursday afternoon and the place was pretty dead. I appreciated that he was putting on a show, even though the place wasn’t full and he was competing with street performers.
It’s not the best Bourbon bar, but it’s far from the worst.

This place was a riot! The guy on stage was amazing. Then again, how could you not be when the name of your one-​man-​band is «F#%k you, you suck»??? The drinks were good — I like that they had 2 for 1 Miller Light.
3 stars because I kept asking for drinks for my friends, and while the bartender acknowledged me, she gave me my drink, then helped countless other people before giving me my friends’.

It’s a dirty bar on Bourbon street with a 2 for 1 happy hour and live music. It happened to be right next to our hotel so we would pop in for a drink or 4, not bad.
There was a singing bartender that was great, but her name escapes me now.

This place is trash, they offer free shots and then over charge you before they try to fight you, if you’re here than you’re fucked… Have fun

It was dark and cold… the guy singing «Brother Hash» was awesome. We arrived earlier in the day and unfortunately he only played until 7pm. The drinks were not to shabby. All in all we had a great time.
Next time I’m in town I’m definitely going back but I’ll dress warmer…

It was a total accident, but we stumbled in here for some live music. The blues band was solid, and wasn’t too loud like a lot of other places in NOLA. They played some Otis, Santana, and even Free Bird. Pretty awesome. And 2 for 1 drinks early on.

One of my favorite places on Bourbon Street. No cover, great music, fun place to dance, decent priced drinks and a bathroom LOL. We managed to come here two nights and party till the wee hours and had a blast. Most of the places had a cover at night and this place had none so thats why we initially came in, I never tried to sit down because the music was good I stayed and danced for hours and met some very interesting and nice people in doing so. Mardi Gras was a blast here and the night before too. Fun night with dancing on stage and interacting with the DJ and the live band. I’m more of a new music kinda girl but Chicken on the Bone played live music that was more my friends and husbands kinda thing so everyone was happy as soon as they left the DJ came out and rocked the place with hit dance music. I think I strolled out of there and started the trek back to the hotel after 2am so it was a fun night. The costumes (or lack of, (topless ladies) were fun too and everyone had a good time.

Since we had a good buzz on and wanted to dance, we decided to go in and shake our bootys’ a little bit. No Regrets! Will be back!

The only reason why we came here was because a majority of us was no longer sober and it’s super close to our hotel. The place had no cover (at least not to my recollection) and there was plenty of space on the dance floor to go crazy. I liked this place mostly because of how much fun my group was and I suspect my lack of recalling what it looked like inside or even what type of music they were playing is a positive to my star review of the place…

We ordered some drinks and headed to the dance floor. We had a good time but what really caught my attention was the history of this place. You could really tell that it was old and had a lot of history. It’s a cool place to check out if you are on Bourbon St.
My biggest complaint about this place was the bathrooms. It’s an old building and I get that, BUT one of the toilets was overflowing with someone’s nasty waste. The toilet was obviously broken but there was no sign to alert people of this so they had to see this nastiness.
