I’ve never eaten in the restaurant itself, but I’ve had quite a bit of chicken from here. Often for parties at the house someone, either us or a guest, gets a tailgate box for finger food. And there never seems to much, if any, left over after the party. And the sauce is always gone. One thing I’ve noticed is that when I place a pick up order, it is usally a couple of minutes late as they are placing the freshly made chicken in the to-go box. No complaints about that. The chicken is still hot when I get it to the house.

So I am originally from the northeast where Canes does not exist. When I moved I passed by this location several times not knowing what they had. Every time I passed the location the drive thru was wrapped around the building. So when day I was out to lunch and decided to give it a try. I was shocked to find out that they only sold chicken fingers. Got myself a box special, and was surprised at just how good they were. It amazed me how a simply well cooked chicken finger could make you addicted. I joke that the chicken must be laced with crack because now I eat it all the time, but it is always delicious, the sauce is pretty good too.

Stopped in for a Caniac and sweet tea. As always, food is consistent from place to place. No surprise there. Greeted by the counter worker as soon as I walked in. Again no surprise as I see this at all the Cane’s I stop in! I arrived at the peak lunch crunch and they were churning out meals fast! Best thing I like about Cane’s besides the food — keeping the dining room clean! At the peak they had two team members keeping tables and seats wiped down and the floor swept. I’m always glad to see a Raising Cane’s when I travel and so far, they have never disappointed me on service, food quality, condition of the dining room or friendly staff! Keep up the good work.

I love Cane’s and their sauce. This location is closest to my house so when I have an itch to consume 1200 calories in one sitting I find myself here. I like it because its very consistent. It’s not often I indulge in a meal like this so when I do I have high expectations and I want it to be perfect. I have to say in the 10 years of coming to this location I have not had a bad experience. My order has never been wrong and the quality has never disappointed. For being a fast food place Cane’s has always had some of the best customer service. They are friendly, smiley, and fast. This location is always very clean, everything from the floors, drink station, tables, to the bathrooms are kept up very well. This location also partners up with Animal Helper(and I’m sure other charities that I am just not aware of), but Animal Helper is one I am particularly fond of. I love when local places give back to their community. It makes me want to support their business even more when they are willing to donate to such a great cause. Kudos Canes of Elmwood!

Very consistent. I had to wait several minutes one night at the drive-thru because they were making fresh food. I love that the quality there is always excellent and the service is friendly.

At Canes, you know what you’re getting. The food and service is so consistent. You can tell they do a great job at hiring the right people and training them well.

I love this place! Delicious chicken strips, Tx toast — it’s all good especially since it’s a drive thru and«fast food» place. Very good! Always fresh and good service!

There is something about Texas Toast and Cane’s sauce. Yes, I get it is chicken fingers but the sauce and bread puts it in a different startosphere. I love this place. Not so crazy about the price but it is very good. I usually ask for hot sauce to add to my cane’s sauce for extra kick!

I love Cane’s but my diet doesn’t. The chicken fingers are always fresh but they are fried. So I have visit sparingly, which makes those visits all the sweeter. I usually get the Three Finger Combo(that just sounds dirty), which is three freshly made chicken fingers, crinkle cut fries, Texas toast, a drink, and a Cane’s sauce. One sauce is never enough, so I always order an extra. A lot of reviews want to point out they don’t like the sauce or don’t see what the fuss is about. Well, more sauce for me! I love this stuff. I’m sure it’s also about as bad for my diet as fried chicken but damn if isn’t tasty as hell. Working nearby puts Cane’s on my radar as a lunch spot for days when I don’t brown bag it. Service is usually speedy and always done with a smile. I do wish they wouldn’t run the air conditioning on full blast so you could hang meat in the dining area, though.

LOVE this place! Best fast food within lunch distance. Been to this location 3 times. Reasons to go: 1) Clean store. In Avondale, LA this is always my #1 priority 2) Good food! Their sauce is magnificent! 3) Good sweet tea 4) Very friendly(& funny) service Reasons to avoid: 1) They only serve chicken strips. They do one thing and do it right but at the expense of variety. 2) Getting across the street back to the Huey P Long is inconvenient at minimum and a scene from Escape from New York at most. Snake’s driving skills help with lunch traffic

This Cane is clean and efficient. The wait time in the drive thru or when dining is moderate. This is the perfect place to bring a kid because it their favorite meal is available in different variations: chicken fingers, fries, ketchup, soda and Cane’s sauce. My favorite thing about Cane’s is the freshness of quality ingredients; I never feel like the food is waiting for me to show up, but rather is dropped the minute I place my order.

«Chicken! Chicken! Chicken! What combo you pickin?» I kid you not. This is what they open with when you pull up to the drive-thru. After a confused look with my wife, we end up ordering our usual. The Box Combo(4 chicken strips, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, texas toast, and their Cane’s sauce) and the Three-Finger Combo(which my wife said sounds kind of sketchy but nevertheless contains 3 chicken strips instead of the usual 4). Their chicken strips are really good and always fresh. Love their crinkle-cut fries but absolutely hate their coleslaw so to solve this problem, I usually just get double toast but you can substitute the coleslaw for an extra Cane’s sauce if need be. Cane’s Sweet Tea is probably the best I’ve had at any fast food chain. If I find myself getting a refill, then yeah I would say it’s pretty damn good because I almost never get a drink refill at a fast food chain. Service is always with a smile which is hard to find these days. The only thing I will say about Cane’s is that I wish they would update their menu and add new items. I understand the saying, «if it ain’t broke.» but it’s almost like they’ve been using the same menu items since ’96. Introduce some grilled chicken items or some new chicken sandwiches. Incorporate new types of Cane’s sauces into the menu. Variety, after all, is truly the spice of life.

I’ve never liked Cane’s Sauce. So why still the 4 stars? Because they give me a ton of ketchup with my order. Doesn’t matter if it’s the three strip snack, or the 4 strip combo no slaw double toast with a sweet tea. Tasty, tasty chicken strips, crinkle cut-fries, toast: My manager and I had a deal for lunch. «You fly I buy» so I had no problem making the trip through the drive through. During my last trip it was good ol’ Cane’s. Quick, almost chipper service, and consistent product. I was back in my office PDQ.

Ehhhhh i guess i shouldn’t review this place because I don’t even eat chicken. But their fries, bread and Cane’s sauce are good! Kinda pricey to say they ONLY serve chicken fingers/strips!

I was told these were a must try… chicken fingers that is. I ordered a kids meal a couple times on a recent business trip. It was just the right amount of bad goodness. Always cooked to order, never too greasy, & served hot off the… well you get the picture. Their fries were skinny too, which I like. That special sauce has mayo though… eck!

This is a favorite spot for my family! Love that it’s a local based restaurant… via Baton Rouge. The food is ALWAYS fresh, the service ALWAYS is with a smile and the atmosphere is ALWAYS fun. Our favorite accessory… the Texas toast! AH! There’s not a ton of variety… but if you do something great… stick with it right?

BESTHANGOVERFOODEVER! I guarantee after eating a Box Combo, there is hope that the day won’t be wasted recovering from the night before. There is something about that Canes sauce and chicken fingers that rock my socks. The texas toast and coleslaw are good too! I dont eat fast food, Canes is the only exception. The employees there are pleasant and nice, which is extremely hard to come by in the fast food industry. The menu is so simple: 4 combos to pick from. Pick the # of strips or enjoy them in sandwich form. So simple, you don’t have to worry about that customer in front of you who holds up the line trying to make up his/her mind.
