MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes

Probably the most incompetent service I’ve ever received any fast food restaurant ever. Waiting over 20 mins for a simple cheeseburger is fucking ridiculous.

Great burger! They make these things fresh and they are sooooooo juicy. The fries are hand cut and very fresh, they don’t sit there and get all soggy. This is by far the best place to eat in the outlet mall, and you won’t spend that much money on what you want either. The staff is pleasant and you get your food quick.

Good Burger, cooked well, remains juicy, decent size but a bit pricey in my book. Good selection of free toppings, I opted for Sautéed Mushrooms which were very tasty, lettuce and tomato. The tomato, sadly, did not have any flavor at all. The Pepper Jack Cheese was SCARCE, (remember you pay extra for cheese, so you should mae sure there is enough to taste it !!) you could hardly tell there was cheese on the burger… skimpy, skimpy, skimpy!!! The Sweet Potato Fries were good and plentiful, in fact too many fries. Very similar to Five Guys burger. Service was quick and very pleasant.

Ok this review is about the Metairie location but Unilocal not bringing it up on current locations. Well after much anticipated long wait, the Metairie store opened today and my luck i happened to be in the hood and was able to stop. Boy was i lucky!!! I went for my traditional favorite a cheeseburger with cheddar and nothing else. I like to be able to taste my burger. Except I must confess I had some grilled onions added this time and it was a perfect marriage. The burger patty was bigger than my bun and had an awesome crisp grilled bottom which I love on my burger. The buns are also made fresh daily and were light and fluffy which made it better and didn’t take away from the taste of my burger. My meal was served on a paper lined metal tray with a mound of salty hand cut fries and unlimited drink refills. The staff and facility were excellent as well and I hope they are around for a long time. They are located on Veterans Blvd. in Metry just below the soon to open World of Beers. Can’t wait to get another Mooyah Burger then head upstairs for some beers. Don’t miss it and I can’t wait to go back with my guys. Good luck Mooyah!!!

This burger place does seem to remind me of a Five Guys with the whole fast burger assembly line and way of business. When you add all your toppings and customizations it’s certainly easy to run up the price a bit. However, it’s a solid burger. It’s really nothing life changing. Personally, thinking about it just really makes me want to go to a Five Guys… but it is by no means a bad option if your in the Riverwalk outlet mall food court and in the mood for a burger.
Or you could just go to Five Guys…

I really like Mooyah. I work near the Riverwalk, so it’s nice to have a fast burger option for the days when you get tired of Subway. I get mine dressed with onions, pickles, lettuce, American cheese and Mooyah sauce so that’s it’s like a Big Mac, but fresher and more tasty!
The fries are okay, I prefer thinner fries, but these are always well cooked. Portions are generous and honestly I don’t find the price to be that bad for what you get. It’s not that much more than a Burger King combo and it’s a lot better.

The pricing is not what you would expect for a Burger joint at an outlet (atleast I didn’t). Mooyah Burger w/​cheese $ 5.99. By the time I added sweet potato fries, toppings and a drink my total was $ 13.27. However, they do offer REPEAT REFILLS. (They only serve Coca-​Cola products.)
The Turkey Burger w/​Avacado was delicious.

Customer service was number one. Food is delicious and fast made to order! Only downside is there was no tip jar. I feel like they deserve tips they took my order and prepared it great. All the other food court businesses had a tip jar! Thanks guys. Hopefully next time there will be a tip jar

Real good burger. They are made to order and so juicy ketchup wasn’t needed. The only drawback might be coming with a group. The made to order made it a little slow. Still, really good!

On a busy Sunday afternoon my family and I decided to give this place a try. I’m giving it four stars instead of five because it is a little pricey for a burger joint. However, I was extremely impressed with the quality and taste of my burger. Everything seemed very fresh and the options available to add were plentiful! I would definitely recommend this place to friends and will likely return again!

OUTRAGEOUSLY GOUGING MALL BURGER: $ 10.55 with fries and cold drink.
AND IT TASTED LIKE A MALL BURGER: that overpowering preservative and institutional condiment yuckiness.
WAY BETTER RIVERWALK MALL FOOD: Raising Cane’s, Izzo’s, grazing off a barker’s sample tray.
